2-6 player Racing strategy game

Pros:

Game graphics at its best! Amazing design. I heard so much about the game so I really wanted to play it and yes the game was exceptionally good.

The battles between ships if they land in the same spot and the treasure cards (I mostly end up getting cursed treasure most of the time) are the highlights of the game.

Cons :

Sometimes the game ends really fast . I couldn’t tell that as a draw back but that’s the only thing that comes to my mind.

New to tumblr, thought we’d jump into the community over here.

Here is our ever growing collection of Board Games!

Also a little bit about us:

Our names are Kelly-Lea and Ben.

We are two board game enthusiasts from the South East of England, we have been together for 8 years.

Kelly as a kid enjoyed playing Hasbro type games with her family at Christmas but had always loved the way those games brought the family together. That was up until meeting Ben...

Ben was brought up with a love of board games by his godfather who has been into the hobby from a young age. At every family get together there would be a game on the table like Settlers of Catan, Landlord or Bohnanza.

Throughout our relationship, our love of modern board games has grown and grown and along with it our board game collection! We are equally bad influences on one another when it comes to buying new games 🙈

Kelly has always had a passion for photography and writing, and decided that she wanted to document our adventures in gaming via social media so started an Instagram page. We were humbled by the following that we gained on Instagram and by the positive response that we have received from the wonderful board game community as well a number of board game publishers via the social network.

This spurred us into wanting to create more board game related content across other platforms as well as through our own website.

#letsplay 🇩🇪🇬🇧 Ihr kennt „Stadt, Land, Fluss“? Dann bedarf „Schnapp, Land, Fluss“ eigentlich keiner Erklärung. Eine der ausliegenden Buchstaben-Karten wird umgedreht. So wird die Kategorie offenbart, um die es geht. Die restlichen Buchstaben-Karten stellen den Anfangsbuchstaben eines passenden Wortes dar. Bis hierher eigentlich recht unspektakulär. Das „Schnapp“ macht den Reiz, denn es wird nicht reihum, sondern gleichzeitig gespielt, und der Mitspieler, der auf eine Buchstaben-Karte schlägt und ein passendes Wort sagt, schnappt sich den Punkt. Man muss also schnell sein. Sehr schnell. Wer am Ende die meisten Punkte hat, gewinnt. In der Anleitung gibt es gleich noch zwei weitere Spielmodi, um mehr Abwechslung zu haben. In größerer Runde ist es mit Sicherheit etwas chaotisch, aber genauso lustig wie zu zweit. Pro Runde braucht man nur wenige Minuten, daher ein perfektes Spiel für zwischendurch oder als Absacker. Aber auch für Nichtspieler ist es mit Sicherheit etwas, was man mal spielen könnte. 😉 🇬🇧 You know “city, country, river”? Then “Snap, country, river” doesn’t really need an explanation. But I'm not sure if there is an English version? Maybe @amigo.spiele can answer this question. One of the letter cards on display is turned over. This reveals the category in question. The remaining letter cards represent the first letter of a suitable word. Actually quite unspectacular up to this point. The "Snap" makes the attraction, because you play simultaneously, and the player who hits a letter card and says a suitable word grabs the point. So you have to be quick. Very quick. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. In the manual there are two more game modes to have more variety. In a larger group it is certainly a bit chaotic, but just as fun as with two. You only need a few minutes per round, making it a perfect game for in between or as a nightcap. Pros:

Amazing graphics. We throughly enjoyed this game . This game would stay in my collection for a long time.

Gameplay is great. Buying and spending pixie dust is fun.

Cons:

It took us really long time to set up and understand the game.

Once we got it, we enjoyed it so much but we struggled to understand .
