I love this guy he is so so interesting!

I feel like EVERYONE forgets this is the guy who introduced Tigerstar to Scourge! Its so weird that Bloodclan is almost never brought up in the second arc! Like! This should have an effect on cats! There are two ex-Bloodclan cats in Shadowclan right now!

Boulder and Russetfur spent a lot of time in Bloodclan (we don't know how much, but I like to think for Red it was most of her life). It's not canon but I do like to think the two are related (in atd Red is Boulder's niece). Does Boulder have thoughts about his time in Bloodclan? What does he think about the fact that he was the one who brought Scourge into the forest? What does he think when Tigerstar dies, or when Scourge dies?

How different does Boulder think Bloodclan and the clans even are?

Also, all the ex-Bloodclan ex-rouge Shadowclan arc 1 cats change their name (Red to Russetfur, Snag(?) to Jaggedtooth, Mowgli to Nightwhisper) EXCEPT Boulder. He keeps his name.

Just like... so much potential... no one talks about. It's so so interesting...

ANYWAY enough about canon.

In AtD, Boulder is an ex-Bloodclan Shadowclan warrior. (Boulder has his own Shadowclan Story(ies) so I won't spoil that)

Life in the twolegplace was not kind. It was better than trying to make it in the woods, though surely not by much. Boulder joins Bloodclan as a young tom, like many others, desperate for community and shelter, eager to prove their worth. His sister joins him. She is soon with kits, from an unknown Bloodclan tom, though she dies giving birth. Boulder takes in his niece, Red (i have not decided if she has siblings who choose Bloodclan over family). Boulder also meets a kind kittypet, who was not afriad of the Bloodclan tom (the kittypets know of Bloddclan, know how dangerous they can be). The two fall in love. The city quickly grows hungry, of course, and Scourge makes a plan to take forest territory, though many are wary of this. The same day, Boulder finds out his mate is pregnant. This is what pushes him to take Red and leave for the woods. He fell for Tigerstar's charisma and control, so when the new leader asked for... reinforcements... Boulder took it as a chance to see Bloodclan again. He would never go against his leader after all. Boulder is loyal to Shadowclan, and when his mate dies he takes in his kits, Smokekit and Talonkit. He fell in love with Oakfur, and the two have recently become mates. Oakfur has struggled to bond with his step-sons, even when getting Talonpaw as an apprentice.
