Baby Design for Mihawk/Buggy. I haven't done these in a while, I'm rusty and unsure if I like it X'D

I thought that the kid would take more after Buggy's temperament. I don't think Mihawk would be entirely bothered, maybe it's alright to have two noisy, over-dramatic clowns in his life. Keeps him on his toes *lol*

(And I assume Buggy did all the work, while Mihawk sipped wipe, so he doesn't get to complain either way. :P)

Buggy has learned to make noise when he floats so he doesn't startle other people when he approaches them. But sometimes he forgets, especially when his mind is wandering elsewhere.

Such as, when he's totally lost in admiring the beautifully toned backside of Mihawk while the swordsman is on his knees digging through the dirt in his garden. Buggy is so taken by those powerful curves that he lets the coiled up garden hose in his arms fall to the ground, which causes 3 things to happen almost simultaneously:

1. The hose rattles the plants near Mihawk's hand.

2. The hose uncoils itself as it hits the ground.

3. Mihawk jumps about three feet in the air due to the millions years old instinct embedded in his human brain that shouts SNAKE! right into his cerebellum.

Buggy tries not to laugh. He really does try. Mihawk huffs and dusts himself off, uttering a few choice curses under his breath. He glares at Buggy, who is fighting for his life to keep from laughing.

Poor Mihawk sighs. "Just get it over with clown."

Buggy was banned from the garden that day.

thought I'd share my crossguild headcanons today!

ok so: you all know about the trans-croc theory at this point, there's no need to explain myself there. I also headcanon him as bi because I don't think he cares about what gender his lovers are, as long as they're pretty things and intelligent

then to mihawk: it might be a hot take, but I genuinely think he isn't romantically or sexually attracted to anyone. he can enjoy certain activities, sure, but he isn't drawn to people like others are.

I also headcanon him as non-binary, for one because of his autistic traits (genuinely haven't met a person on the spectrum who didn't think gender roles were suspicious/pointless) and secondly because I don't think he cares what people see him as whatsoever. he presents pretty masc and uses he/him pronouns, but wouldn't mind if the seraphim called him "mom" for instance!

then there is buggy and he is so queer coded in the source material I honestly can't label him as anything other than gay. this guy calls powerful men he's scared of "baby" on reflex, offers to lick their shoes clean and puts on meticulous makeup. every. single. day. huge bottom energy there

he's aromantic to me because genuinely, he hasn't shown any romantic interest in anybody ever. he's got plenty of sexually charged conversations and strange friendships (alvida cough cough) but we've never seen him swooning over anyone or being much of a romantic

Guess who can't sleep because of the unbearable heat and is making it Buggy's problem?

Well, it's a bit less of a problem because this year he's aquired a mosquito net draped around his canopy bed which he naturally has because it's the only bed fit for a future Pirate King.

Except it's gossamer thin and on windy nights when Mihawk and his ever-gleaming bird pupils decide this hot summer night needs to be even hotter and steamier via the ravishing of a clown, it's like something out of Nosferatu and it's frankly a miracle Buggy's heart hasn't given out yet.

It’s nights like this where Crocodile, completely non-plussed by the temperature, decides to burn the midnight oil some and get some work down without any distractions. At least that's what he says, the other two heads of the Cross Guild can read him well enough at this point to tell he means ‘do some work but mostly call and flirt with husband some’.

Completely fine by them, they can certainly find something to entertain themselves with…

Well, Mihawk at least is. He’s holding fast to his title of being able to make one scream in every way thought possible.

Both Crocodile and Mihawk definitely suck at flirting. They both fall for Buggy and do not know what to do because they've always been too focused on their things to actually flirt, and Buggy is too fucking oblivious to get their hints. Mihawk will tell Buggy with the most menacing voice to come with him to taste a bit of red (wine) and Buggy thinks he's actually a vampire and he's gonna murder him and eat him. Crocodile will try to go for the mafioso style and buy Buggy expensive stuff, and then tell him (trying to sound sexy and failing) to return the favor (with a date or sex) but Buggy thinks he actually owes Crocodile tons of money. And then they both never find out why the hell their super crafted and romantic pick-up lines don't work.
