Match Review: Manchester United 2-1 Rangers

It's a win but fuck was that poor.

Like I said in my last post, I'm not well, so this is going to be short and sharp.

The good: - De Ligt's (disallowed) goal was a good header. - Toby Collyer. Kept it simple yet effective. - That Jack Butland own goal. - That Bruno goal / the Licha assist. - Amad Diallo: graft and tekkers. - Bruno Fernandes put in a shift.

The bad: - Toothless goal threat. - Maguire getting sent to the shops for Rangers' goal (top finish though). - Lack of football IQ and invention.

Nothing new really. We're flat and boring to watch, and often fail to adhere to Amorim's system. We look okay at times, and we have moments of brilliance to remind us that players do possess talent, but getting it all to work in harmony... it doesn't feel like it's happening this season.

We also had the debacle ala Galatasaray where Rangers fans had tickets sold to them by United for the home end. That's fun. Obviously it's not a deliberate thing, but the lack of policing over it.. denying United fans seats in their sections for opponents and risking confrontations and fights in the process. Not cool.

One more game to go in the Europa League, away to Bucharest next week. In the mean time, watch us get dicked down by Andreas Pereira's Fulham on Sunday away at Craven Cottage in the league. 7pm kickoff. Or, alternatively, just watch the Women take on Brighton at home. More likely we win that one, and you won't pull your hair out in despair.
