Brooks and CAPEHART of the Republican Republican Party passing through Trump's legislative agenda
David Brooks: Yes. It is not an effort to destroy Harvard. Now I have beef with Harvard like us all. I went. Harvard Square has a bookstore called COOP. And I used to go there and there is a part where Harvard faculty has a book. And I had thrilled this section. I should not admit this on TV. But Sam Huntington, Eo Wilson, Skip Gates, Helen Vendler, like this legendary scholars. And you willâŠ

Justin Baragona at The Independent:
The flood of high-profile editorial talent fleeing the Washington Post as the storied newspaper revamps its opinion section to focus exclusively on âpersonal liberties and free marketsâ continued to grow this week as Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Jonathan Capehart decided to take a buyout. Capehartâs departure comes just days after longtime Post reporter and writer Philip Bump announced that he had also accepted a buyout and had written his last column, which followed the paperâs beleaguered CEO Will Lewisâ ultimatum to staffers to leave if they âdo not feel alignedâ with the companyâs new direction. As first reported by Axiosâ Sara Fischer Monday morning, Capehart â who was a member of the Postâs editorial board until 2023 â ended his 18-year run with the paper this week after taking a buyout through the companyâs recently implemented voluntary separation program. Capehart, meanwhile, will continue to co-host MSNBCâs The Weekend, and serve as a political analyst for PBS.
The WaPo exodus continues, as Jonathan Capehart is the latest to leave the Bezos-ified paper, following Phillip Bumpâs recent departure.

The Washington Post is no longer a credible news source. It looks like the long history of truth to power is being thrown out in favour of obeying in advance and becoming a propaganda outlet for Dear Leader.
They've been going down hill slowly under Bezos, but now they are skiing to break speed records.
Breaks my heart.

It's well known that Liz Cheney has endorsed Kamala Harris for president. What is less well known is that she has also endorsed Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX-31).
Rep. Allred is running against Ted Cruz who is seeking his third term as US senator from Texas.
One poll puts Allred ahead of "Lyin' Ted" but it's within the margin of error. Though the race is closer than one would expect in Texas.
You don't have to live in Texas to help Colin Allred beat "CancĂșn Cruz".
Colin Allred for Senate
The Senate map is difficult for Democrats this year. So if we could flip a seat in Texas it would help keep Democrats in the majority in that chamber.

"Moral shame"
Jonathan Capehart (Washington Post):
I thought the low point for America on the world stage was the Trump-Putin press conference in Helsinki in 2017 when the president of the United States sided with the president of Russia against his own national intelligence apparatus. What we saw in the Oval Office was a travesty, horrendous, despicable, disgustingâthere arenât any words to describe what we watched. We saw a vice-president who has never been to Ukraine lecture a wartime president who was clearly summoned to the White House to humiliate him on the world stage either on behalf of or for the benefit of Vladimir Putin in Russia. I give President Zelenskyy major points for standing up for himself, for standing up for his nation, and standing up for his people. He is in there fighting for Americaâs backing. Iâm sorry, it should not even be in doubt given the stakes involved and who he is trying to protect his people from.
David Brooks (New York Times):
I was nauseated. Just nauseated All my life Iâve had a certain idea about America: that weâre a flawed country, but weâre fundamentally a force for good in the world. That we defeated the Soviet Union, we defeated fascism, we did the Marshall Plan, we did PEPFAR to help people live in Africa. We make mistakesâIraq, Vietnamâbut theyâre usually mistakes out of stupidity, naivete, and arrogance, theyâre not because weâre ill-intentioned. What Iâve seen over the last six weeks is the United States behaving vilely. Vilely to our friends in Canada and Mexico, vilely to our friends in Europe. Today was the bottom of the barrel: Vilely to a man who is defending western values at great personal risk to him and his countrymen. Donald Trump believes in one thing. He believes that might makes right. And in that he agrees with Vladimir Putin. They are birds of a feather. He and Vladimir Putin, together, are trying to create a world that is safe for gangsters, where ruthless people can thrive. And we saw the product of that effort today in the Oval Office. At first I was thinking, âAm I feeling grief? Am I feeling shock? Am I in a hallucination?â But I think itâs just shame, moral shame. It is a moral injury to see the country you love behaving in this way.
It is a moral injury to see the country you love behaving in this way.

The Silencing of Black Voices in Media: Coincidence or a Coordinated Effort?
Written by: D. Marshall Jr The recent shake-ups at MSNBC, with prominent Black journalists like Joy Reid and Jonathan Capehart seemingly being pushed to the sidelines, raise a critical question: Is this just business as usual, or is there a deeper effort to suppress diverse voices from mainstream media? We live in an era where diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have become buzzwords forâŠ

President Donald Trumpâs brazen proposal to âtake overâ Gaza could raise tensions during a fragile phase of the hostage exchange deal, and spark further violence if Palestinians are forced off their land, said CNN Global Affairs Analyst Kimberly Dozier.

Cartello Capehart Explains the Role of AI in Modern Digital Marketing

In the rapidly evolving world of digital marketing, artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly significant role. Cartello Capehart, an expert in the field, emphasizes how AI transforms strategies and approaches in modern marketing. With its ability to analyze data, predict consumer behavior, and personalize content, AI is becoming an indispensable tool for marketers. But what exactly is AIâs role, and how is it changing the digital marketing landscape? Cartello Tyrone Capehart sheds light on these questions.
Data Analysis: The Foundation of AI in Marketing
Data analysis is one of AI's most powerful applications in digital marketing. AI can process vast amounts of data more quickly and accurately than humans. Cartello Capehart highlights that this capability allows marketers to gain real-time insights into consumer behavior, preferences, and trends. By analyzing data from various sources, such as social media, website analytics, and customer interactions, AI can identify patterns that help businesses make informed decisions.
For instance, AI can analyze customer purchase histories to predict future buying behavior. This enables marketers to create targeted campaigns more likely to resonate with their audience. Cartello Tyrone Capehart points out that this level of precision improves the effectiveness of marketing strategies and helps businesses allocate their resources more efficiently.
Personalization: Tailoring Content to Individual Needs
Another key role of AI in modern digital marketing is personalization. Consumers today expect content that is relevant and tailored to their individual needs. Cartello Capehart explains that AI-powered tools can analyze user behavior and preferences to deliver personalized content in real time. This includes personalized product recommendations, customized email marketing, and targeted ads.
Personalization goes beyond just addressing a customer by their name. AI can predict what content will engage a specific user based on their past interactions. Cartello Tyrone Capehart emphasizes that this level of personalization enhances the customer experience, leading to higher engagement and conversion rates. Itâs about delivering the right message to the right person at the right time, which is now possible thanks to AI.
Automation: Streamlining Marketing Processes
AI is also revolutionizing digital marketing through automation. Tasks that were once time-consuming and repetitive can now be automated with AI-driven tools. Cartello Capehart notes that automation saves time and ensures consistency in marketing efforts. For example, AI can automate sending out emails, posting on social media, and even generating content.
Moreover, AI-powered chatbots are becoming a standard feature on websites, providing instant customer support and handling inquiries around the clock. Cartello Tyrone Capehart explains that these chatbots can engage with customers, answer questions, and guide them through purchasing without human intervention. This improves the customer experience and frees up human resources for more strategic tasks.
Predictive Analytics: Shaping Future Strategies
Predictive analytics is another area where AI is making a significant impact. By analyzing historical data, AI can predict future trends and outcomes. Cartello Capehart discusses how predictive analytics allows marketers to anticipate customer needs and market trends, enabling them to stay ahead of the competition.
For example, AI can predict which products are likely to be popular in the coming months, allowing businesses to adjust their inventory and marketing strategies accordingly. Cartello Tyrone Capehart believes that predictive analytics is crucial for companies that want to remain agile and responsive in a fast-paced market.
Conclusion: Embracing the Future of Marketing
The role of AI in modern digital marketing is undeniable. From data analysis and personalization to automation and predictive analytics, AI transforms how businesses connect with their audiences. As Cartello Capehart concludes, embracing AI is now optional for marketers who want to stay competitive. With the insights provided by AI, marketers can create more effective, personalized, and efficient strategies that drive growth and success in the digital age.
By understanding and leveraging AI, marketers like Cartello Tyrone Capehart are leading the charge into the future of digital marketing.

As far as performers go, I would say that Frankie on the stage, and I think everyone would just about agree with me who sees the show, showmanship and everything is so important, I think. And that's just exactly what Frankie Lymon is: showmanship." â Eddie Cochran

We have less than 11 months to keep the United States from slipping into totalitarianism.
Waiting to get involved until the traditional election season starts in September is for losers. The further away an extinction-causing asteroid is, the easier it is to deflect it. We currently have an orange asteroid on route which could cause American democracy to go extinct.
Elect Trump and the country will have a leader who will pardon himself for past, present, and future crimes and will have a submissive Supreme Court which will uphold those pardons.
It will require an increased amount of civic involvement, not slacktivism, to prevent this. Don't wait for the next person to become more active. Lead by example.

Alex Weprin at THR:
MSNBC is making its lineup overhaul official, elevating a handful of key talent to the evenings while also making substantial changes to its weekend and dayside hours. The most notable changes were telegraphed over the weekend, and will see major changes to MSNBCâs evening and primetime lineups. As expected, when Rachel Maddow returns to her one day per week schedule in April, Jen Psaki will take over the 9 p.m hour on Tuesdays-Fridays. And The Weekend hosts Alicia Menendez, Michael Steele and Symone Sanders-Townsend will shift to the 7 p.m. hour, while hosting a two hour show on Mondays from 7-9 p.m. As part of the changes, MSNBCâs current 7 p.m. host Joy Reid will leave the channel, with rotating hosts filling in until the new lineup kicks in. Alex Wagner, who had been helming 9 p.m. on Tuesdays-Fridays, will stay with MSNBC as a senior political analyst. [...] On The Weekend, MSNBC will introduce a new trio of co-hosts for the program, with Jonathan Capehart working as one of the morning hosts, and Ayman Mohyeldin to be one of the evening co-hosts, with other hosts TBD. Ali Velshi will also expand his weekend show to three hours. In conjunction with MSNBCâs spinoff from NBCUniversal, the cable channel will consolidate its production to New York and Washington D.C., with the channel opening a standalone Washington bureau, with plans to hire journalists and correspondents to stand up a new newsgathering operation. As a result, the channel will stop producing shows out of Miami, with JosĂ© DĂaz-Balart Reports and The Katie Phang Show both ending production. DĂaz-Balart will continue as one of the weekend anchors for NBC Nightly News, while Phang will remain with MSNBC as a legal correspondent. As a result of the dayside changes, Ana Cabrera will expand an hour and anchor weekday Ana Cabrera Reports from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Chris Jansing will shift to anchor Chris Jansing Reports from 12 to 2 p.m. Katy Tur will add an hour to Katy Tur Reports from 2 to 4 p.m.Â
More MSNBC lineup change fallout:
Jonathan Capehart and Ayman Mohyeldin will lose their respective shows (The Saturday/Sunday Show and Ayman) to helm up part of The Weekend, with Capehart part of the morning version and Mohyeldin part of the evening version. Ali Velshi expands to three hours.
Miami-based shows from Katie Phang and JosĂ© DĂaz-Balart are gone due to MSNBC halting show production out of its Miami studios. Phang will remain with MSNBC to serve as a fill-in host and legal analyst, while DĂaz-Balart will focus more on NBC Nightly News and Telemundo duties.
The weekday dayside versions of MSNBC Reports will become 2-hour shows, hosted by Ana Cabrera (10AM ET/9AM CT-12PM ET/11AM CT), Chris Jansing (12PM ET/11AM CT-2PM ET/1PM CT), and Katy Tur (2PM ET/1PM CT-4PM ET/3PM CT).
