         “Then I’m proud of you, for that.” He means it, too; he knows how difficult even leaving can be, let alone doing it in a way that doesn’t fully read as storming off. The most important thing here is Ollie taking care of himself better, and by extension, other people. “I’m glad you’re feeling better. Breathing.” Victor pauses a moment, then adds: “Have you eaten? I’ve mainly just had coffee, so…”

       Oliver is trying to be better, trying to get through the panic and the anger without losing himself in it. Lips press together and a hand moves to run through his hair, ruffling the curls lightly. He meets Victors’ eyes again with a little less shame in his eyes, though he feels it heavy in his chest. He feels bad but he’s getting better at showing it less. “Uh- only a breakfast bar this morning, nothin’ exciting.”
