//   (  spike fearn .  cis man  .  he/him  )  .    ⸻  griffin talbot ,  a  twenty-one  year  old  ,  has  survived  another  day  in  red  creek  where  they  have  lived  for  his whole life  .  the  introvert  is  known  for  being  attentive  and  timid  and  is  often  associated  with  notes scribbled in margins, not speaking unless spoken to, long walks with no destination  .  in  a  small  town  where  they  work  as  a cashier at red creek pharmacy  word  travels  fast  .  it’s  hard  to  keep  a  secret  ,  and  it  looks  like  the  boogeyman  knows  that  redacted .
STATS
full name: griffin douglas talbot   hometown: red creek, mi   sexuality: bisexual  birthday: june 30   zodiac: cancer sun, cancer moon, capricorn rising  height: 5’9”  languages spoken: english, some spanish marital status: single children: none  traits: attentive, imaginative, independent, timid, oversensitive, evasive
BACKGROUND tw drowning mention, anxiety
the youngest of the talbot clan, griffin knew from a young age that his family was a Big Deal
when he was little he liked the attention, he was a rambunctious and loud child, always running around trying to keep up with his older siblings
this changed when he was 9; that summer, he was playing in a creek with some friends, he fell into a deep drop off and in a freak accident his foot got stuck in a sunken log and he was trapped beneath the surface for too long
his friends eventually freed him but he had lost consciousness and was rushed to the local hospital
he lived obvi, but the event left him traumatized and embarrassed and anxious all the time
he started to withdraw, wracked with fear and anxiety, to this day he has pretty horrible social anxiety and is afraid to go near water
he exceeded all expectations in school though, getting great grades and eventually getting into every college he applied to, including his dad’s alma mater, princeton
but he decided to stay local, commuting to school from red creek
he’s in school to become a pharmacist which is why he works at the pharmacy part-time; he isn’t exactly passionate about pharmacology (he’ll happily collect those nice checks someday though)
PERSONALITY & FUN FACTS
painfully shy, social anxiety beating his ass daily
much prefers to spend time alone or with very few close people
reads a lot (likes horror, thriller, mysteries, but HATES true crime), plays videos games (idk which ones, i don’t go there), watches a lot of movies (letterboxd top four: star wars episode i, wallace and gromit (were-rabbit ofc), the parent trap, snakes on a plane)
really into herpetology as a hobby and has a lizard, bearded dragon named wallace, and a snake, rainbow boa named gromit
always has a plastic baggy of yellow starburst on him (he only really likes the yellow ones but will eat a different flavor if it’s offered by someone else)
has so many pairs of socks that he just keeps them in a large cardboard box in the corner of his closet
has never been in a relationship, is incredibly scared to do so and would not know where to begin
but definitely has a number of crushes and a tier system for them
writes shitty poetry and short stories for fun in a notebook he always carries around with his starburst baggy
in typical baby brother fashion, thinks his older siblings are the coolest people alive
a really good listener, he is observant and notices everything, so even though he’s probably not talking a lot he’s absorbing everything you’re saying
hates the prominence of his family name these days, would rather live anonymously as some local nobody than be in the spotlight
has had problems w insomnia since the incident at the creek, but he’s kinda okay with it bc more time to read and fall down a wikipedia hole or just go on a long ambling walk to nowhere
big into tea, never drinks coffee
sweet and very sensitive, like okay water sign
incredibly caring towards those he loves
character inspo: jughead (riverdale), fez (that 70s show), ferb (really a ferb sun, baljeet moon) (phineas and ferb), quentin (the magicians), marcus (the bear)

A render I made of all the models I created that are presentable right now. Originally I wanted to have them all in an aquarium but I'll save that image for when I more characters ready. With the exception of Chica's base I made every single character in Blender. About a year ago I couldn't model much in Blender. Here's where I'm at now. The basketball was made in 10 seconds. Next time I work on Hex I will make an actual basketball.
I intend to eventually release all these models publicly but not at this time. This month's goal is to get more models done and master Shape Keys / Face Rigging.
Going from left to right: The Avenger (Pop Goes the Balloon), Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past (ATHF), Hex (Friday Night Funkin), Tabi (Turnabout AU), Feathers McGraw (Wallace and Gromit), Orson (Pac-Man World), Brian Griffin (Family Guy), Broque Monsieur (Mario & Luigi), Vassago (Legacy of Rust).

Review : Earl Crush by Alexandra Vasti
Tumblr media
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars
This is the 2nd Regency rom-com set in the world of Belvoir’s Library. The MCs are Lydia Hope-Wallace, who is one of Selina’s besties from London that you meet in Ne’er Duke Well, and Arthur Baird, the Earl of Strathrannoch in Scotland. Lydia is an heiress with a lot of money and no marriage prospects, and Arthur has a title, a rundown castle and a lack of funds to make repairs. After a miscommunication meet-cute, they develop the hots for each other.
💚 A FEW HIGHLIGHTS:
- Fake Married - Politics & Schemes - Longing & Lust - Vulnerability & Care - Love Letters - Can’t stop kissing - Only one bedroom - Too many brothers These two are so sweet together! Arthur understands her shyness and anxiety and wants to protect her. Lydia feels strength from him and loves his massive torso. He falls hard and is the biggest cinnamon roll. She is a smart politico with a talent for writing opinion pamphlets. Together they pretend to be married for “reasons” and they keep up the ruse for quite some time and is a lot of fun.
Aside from the romance I really loved getting cameos of characters from the 1st book when Selina & her besties put their wits together to solve the case. I honestly would watch a Masterpiece Theater series about the Belvoir’s Library and its female patrons solving crimes. Also, I may or may not have been teary-eyed at the ending.
I’ve read all of Vasti’s books so far and have liked every one, but am especially loving this Belvoir’s Library series. If you’re in the mood for a Regency rom-coms you’ll love this one too. I’m so excited for Georgiana’s book coming next! Her dog is named Sir Francis Bacon, Bacon for short, and I laughed so hard! 🥓
OUT: January 21, 2025
—Thank you to NetGalley & St. Martin’s Griffin for the ARC—
(No Zebras were harmed in the writing of this review 😉)

Can you tell us a little about Summoning Trouble? Who is your favorite secondary character? And what is your favorite location?
Omg I CAN. (And share some art since I’ve been redesigning the cast!). It’s a cozy fantasy sent in a modern day setting but with magic.
Aaand cut time cause this got long oops
Summoning Trouble is the story of a small magical anomaly investigation agency called Thorn Street Investigations. The two pov characters, Wallace and David, run it together with their social media manager, Val.
They usually are dealing with remnants - leftover magic that has gained sentience and it’s mad about it. They trap it and purge it. Sometimes it’s an infestation of pixies or a slime colony.
David has a master’s degree in magical biology and is also insane, so he usually is doing all of the field work. He’s a summoner, but he does have a magic deficiency, so he has a little moth dragon named Thistle that keeps on top of it.
Tumblr media
Wallace is half water elemental! He had a degree in environmental science and is very good at the research aspect of things. He cannot do any magic at all, but he can manipulate water. This is him, his hair is magic and glowy and very blue
Tumblr media
Since David is limited in what he can do magic wise outside of summons and Wallace is like bringing a firehose to a water gun fight, they hire Lin at the beginning of the story. Lin is Val’s friend! He’s very anxious and reserved, but very sweet. He’s also a bit of a secret powerhouse.
Tumblr media
He ties his hair back when it’s serious business time.
Immediately after they hire Lin, everything goes wild. Someone is trying to summon a demon (a war machine that’s been sealed somewhere below the city - Wallace is obsessed). David’s mentor retires, leaving him as the summoner of the area (a go between for magical creatures and magic users, but mostly it’s fishing house griffins out of the gutter sort of thing).
My favorite secondary character is Clarence! He owns The Sleeping Basilisk, the potion shop across the street from all of the problems happening. He’s kind of a dork and loves dad jokes. Plus he has a pet mini basilisk.
Favorite location so far is the aquarium cause…magic aquarium hello. But also Clarence’s potion shop. But there are a lot more locations in book 2 and probably 3! (Idk how many books I’ll write, I’m just vibing)
Thanks so much for the ask!!!

From William Petersen, Jorja Fox, Marg Helgenberger, Gary Dourdan, and George Eads, to the likes of Laurence Fishburne, Ted Danson, and Elizabeth Shue, CSI featured a memorable cast. It was a mainstay on CBS, being one of the longest-running scripted primetime series, the winner of the “Most Watched Drama” Award from the Monte Carlo TV Festival, earning the title of the most watched drama of the 21st century,  and has won various Primetime Emmy Awards and Golden Globes. The show also generated spin-off series, including CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and CSI: Cyber.
After the cancellation of the original CSI in 2015, the franchise is returning not only to Las Vegas, but with some of the original cast. This includes William Petersen, Jorja Fox, Wallace Langham, and Paul Guilfoyle.
This time around, some new faces are joining the cast, including Paula Newsome (Barry), Matt Lauria (Friday Night Lights, Kingdom), Mel Rodriguez (Last Man on Earth), Mandeep Dhillon (After Life) and Jamie McShane (SEAL Team)
Each CSI series reflects the crimes of the city’s environment. With Las Vegas, the original series had investigators focus on crimes such as murders and kidnappings, but also those that revolve around the world of casinos and gambling, including robberies at casinos and and crimes that take place at Las Vegas conventions.
The official trailer for CSI: Vegas was finally released with a reveal to how this series will differ from the original.
As the CBS synopsis describes, “Facing an existential threat that could bring down the entire Crime Lab and release thousands of convicted killers back onto the neon-lit streets of Vegas, a brilliant new team of investigators must enlist the help of old friends Gil Grissom, Sara Sidle and David Hodges (Wallace Langham). This combined force will deploy the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best in order to preserve and serve justice in Sin City.”
The series also takes place in real time, with the events occurring six years after the end of the original series in 2015.
The trailer, which features a rendition of the original series’ theme song, Who Are You by The Who, teases how, “It’s the return of the global phenomenon. The next chapter begins.”
Fans of the original series look to enjoy the nostalgia of characters who are returning as well as a continuing of stories in the world of CSI in Las Vegas while welcoming a new group of characters. New fans look to be introduced to the world of CSI in Las Vegas as they are acquainted with original characters and introduced to the new ones.
With a tease reminding audiences just how big CSI was during its run as a “global phenomenon”, fans are already sharing their excitement on social media, waiting for the premiere and celebrating the return of  favorites. It sparks interest to see how the series will continue, especially in a world that has changed so much with technology and science in just six years.
With the fall season approaching, TV networks look to bring back returning favorites and premiere new series, and CSI: Vegas is among them as it is set to debut on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 10/9c on CBS with the original CSI series currently streaming on Paramount+.

If you’ve been keeping up with the ongoing drama surrounding It Ends with Us, you know the film has been plagued by tension and controversy involving its leading star, Blake Lively, and her co-star and director, Justin Baldoni. The situation escalated recently when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of harassment and fostering a hostile work environment.  Following this, Baldoni and several of the film’s producers, publicists and others close to the situation sued The New York Times over what they described as a “defamatory headline designed to immediately mislead the reader.” Baldoni also sued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million, saying that the couple has attempted “to destroy Justin Baldoni, his team and their respective companies by disseminating grossly edited, unsubstantiated, new and doctored information to the media,” according to the actor’s lawyer Bryan Freedman.  Then, in an effort to help move his case further along, Baldoni and his team released a behind-the-scenes video of him interacting with Lively on set. Then, in an effort to help move his case further along, Baldoni and his team released a behind-the-scenes video of him interacting with Lively on set. Following that, a voice memo sent to Lively from Balodni was released to the media, and in it, the actor seemingly apologizes to her for being a “very flawed man.” It is unclear as of publication who leaked the video, but a week after that Baldoni’s team created a website to expose texts sent between him and Lively. He also shared notes from the movie’s alleged intimacy coordinator. Most recently, Lively was once again sued by Jed Wallace and his crisis management firm, Street Relations, Inc.  Wallace was also involved with the Baldoni lawsuit against the actress.  We have all the information about Wallace’s lawsuit, the intimacy coordinator’s notes and the latest update on Baldoni and Lively’s lawsuit, including the trial date below. What to know about Jed Wallace’s lawsuit against Blake Lively  Blake Lively in 2024Jason Howard/Bauer-Griffin/Contributor/Getty Wallace and his crisis management firm are suing Lively on the grounds of defamation. It came after the actress requested a deposition from him, which was later denied.  Wallace is currently suing Lively for $7 million and said that “he didn’t engage in harassment or retaliation against the actress,” despite her claiming he did.  Lively’s team has responded to the lawsuit, saying,”Another day, another state, another nine-figure lawsuit seeking to sue Ms. Lively ‘into oblivion’ for speaking out against sexual harassment and retaliation.” It is unclear as of publication if Wallace’s case will go to trial.  Justin Baldoni shares notes from intimacy coordinator  Days before Wallace announced his lawsuit, Baldoni’s team released a note that their claim was from the film’s intimacy coordinator—which Lively said the film didn’t have until she demanded one.  The notes feature some pretty crass language, including things like “foreplay,” “goes down on her,” and even “orgasm.” Justin Baldoni (2024); Blake Lively (2024)Gotham / Contributor/Getty; Gotham / Contributor/Getty “These notes would later become the basis for Lively’s complaint, in which she states that Baldoni would talk about his own sex life and insert gratuitous scenes with Lively’s character orgasming,” Baldoi’s team wrote in the initial filings.  The notes also claim that Baldoni offered Livey a meeting with the coordinator, to which she replied, “I feel good. I can meet her when we start Thank you, though!”  As of publication, Lively’s team has not commented on the notes. What the leaked voice memo reveals In the leaked voice memo—reportedly recorded in May 2023 and obtained by The Daily Mail—Baldoni can be heard apologizing and then thanking Lilvey for her proposed changes to the script.  “I’m really sorry. I for sure fell short, and you worked really hard on that,” Baldoni said. “And the way you framed it and how that made you feel, I just want to say thank you for sharing that with me That takes a lot of trust and vulnerability. I feel really grateful that you feel safe enough to tell me that’s how you feel and share that with me. I’m really sorry, I f*ck*d up.” Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively filming ‘It Ends with Us’ (2024)Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin / Contributor/Getty In the memo, Baldoni can also be heard telling Lively that he’s “really looking forward to spending time together, and I believe that’s going to go a long way for our chemistry, which I believe is there. It’s been there from the start so I was so d*mn excited when you agreed to do this film. I believe it comes from us both being so hard working and having a vision.”  Neither Lively nor Baldoni has commented on the voice memo. Behind-the-scenes video sparks controversy The behind-the-scenes video—obtained by TMZ—showcases Lively and Baldoni dancing and talking about things like their spouses, noses and spray tans.  Now, normally, a behind-the-scenes video wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but in both Baldoni and Lively’s lawsuits, each of them references the moment.  According to Baldoni “Lively took them out of character again and began to joke about Baldoni’s nose, which he laughed off and joked in turn, even as Lively joked that he should get plastic surgery. Lively incorrectly alleges that this scene was filmed without sound. Baldoni was wearing a microphone, and the entire exchange is captured on camera.” Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively filming ‘It Ends with Us’ (2024)Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin / Contributor/Getty On the other hand, Lively claimed that while filming that particular scene her costar/director “leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips from her ear and down her neck as he said, ‘it smells so good’… When Ms. Lively later objected to this behavior, Mr. Baldoni’s response was, ‘I’m not even attracted to you.’” In the video, however, viewers learn that both statements have some validity since Lively joked about Baldoni’s nose, but in exchange, he also can be seen kissing both her lips and neck and telling her “It smells good” after Lively told him she was probably getting her spray tan on him.  Lively’s team has commented on the video, telling PEOPLE, “Every frame of the released footage corroborates, to the letter.”  They also filed a letter motion for conference against Baldoni’s team, saying that the video was used to “continue the campaign of retaliation,” which they claim the actor’s team has done “virtually every day since” Lively filed her lawsuit back in December 2024. Lively’s team also claimed in the letter that Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, “has given television interviews, appeared on podcasts, issued inflammatory written statements, and leaked information (including, remarkably, documents as banal as document preservation demands to third parties) to the Hollywood press and tabloid media” in an effort to “not only continue the campaign of retaliation that was the subject of Ms. Lively’s First Cease and Desist, but they contain numerous new false statements about Ms. Lively and others.” “His conduct threatens to, and will, materially prejudice both the Lively Case and the Wayfarer Case by tainting the jury pool, because his statements are deliberately aimed at undermining the ‘character, credibility, [and] reputation’ of numerous relevant parties.” As of publication, aside from the initial release, Baldoni’s team hasn’t commented on the video or the letter motion for conference. The latest news on Justin Baldoni’s two lawsuits Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni  in ‘It Ends with Us’ (2024)moviestillsdb.com/ Sony Pictures Releasing Baldoni is currently suing both The New York Times and Lively in two separate lawsuits, claiming that both parties distributed information to the public in an attempt to ruin his reputation.  Baldoni, along with publicist Jed Wallace, Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, as well as producers Jamey Heath and Steve Sarowitz, announced that they would be suing The New York Times for their expose article ‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine—published on Saturday, December 2, 2024. They claimed in the December 31, 2024, filing that the article “encapsulated in a defamatory headline designed to immediately mislead the reader.” They refuted the article’s premise, which claimed the plaintiffs orchestrated a retaliatory public relations campaign against Lively for speaking out about harassment, calling it “categorically false and easily disproven.” The New York Times responded, saying, “These claims are completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media.”   As of publication, nothing further has developed in regards to Baldoni’s lawsuit against the international newspaper.  Baldoni’s other lawsuit against Lively, her husband Reynolds, the couple’s publicist Leslie Sloane and Sloane’s PR firm, Vision PR, was announced on January 17, 2025, with the actor suing them for $400 million on the grounds of defamation and extortion.  “This lawsuit is a legal action based on an overwhelming amount of untampered evidence detailing Blake Lively and her team’s duplicitous attempt to destroy Justin Baldoni,” his lawyer said in a statement.  “It is clear, based on our own all-out willingness to provide all complete text messages, emails, video footage and other documentary evidence that was shared between the parties in real-time, that this is a battle she will not win and will certainly regret. Blake Lively was either severely misled by her team or intentionally and knowingly misrepresented the truth.”  “We want the truth to be out there. We want the documents to be out there. We want people to make their determination based on receipts.” Lively’s legal team responded to the lawsuit soon after it was announced, saying, “The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate; it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail.” The latest on Blake Lively’s lawsuit Lively has filed her own lawsuit against Baldoni, alleging  that he created a “ hostile work environment that had nearly derailed production.” She claims in the  lawsuit that Baldoni added in several “improvised physical intimacy that had not been rehearsed, choreographed or discussed with Ms. Lively, with no intimacy coordinator involved,” and once “was caressing Ms. Lively with his mouth in a way that had nothing to do with their roles.”  During those unplanned scenes, Lively claims that Baldoni told her that he was “not even attracted” to her after she tried to stop this sort of behavior from happening.  Additionally, Lively’s lawsuit accuses Baldoni and producer Jamey Heath of pressuring her to film nude scenes that were neither included in the script nor part of her contract. According to the complaint, during a scene where her character gives birth, the men “suddenly pressured Ms. Lively to simulate full nudity.” Blake Lively in 2024Gareth Cattermole / Staff/Getty Lively claims ‘It Ends with Us’ backlash was calculated Lively also claimed that both Baldoni and Heath exploited post-release backlash to damage her reputation, allegedly creating and promoting negative content about her. The complaint states, “They engaged in the same techniques to bolster Mr. Baldoni’s credibility and suppress any negative content about him.” Baldoni has yet to publicly comment on the allegations but has since been dropped by his talent agency, WME. A lawyer on retainer for his production company, Wayfarer, told  The New York Times in response that he believes the “claims are completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media.” Meanwhile, WME confirmed that the decision to part ways with Baldoni was not influenced by either Lively or her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds. Colleen Hoover’s support for Blake Lively Colleen Hoover, Brandon Sklenar and Blake Lively in 2024Eric Charbonneau / Contributor/Getty Colleen Hoover, who wrote the It Ends with Us book and was heavily involved in the production and press of the film, took to Instagram over the weekend of December 28, 2024, to voice her support for Lively, writing, “@blakelively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.” The author also linked to an article written by The New York Times, which showcased various text messages detailing how Baldoni, Heath and a crisis management expert named Melissa Nathan allegedly tried to ruin Lively’s reputation, with Nathan reportedly saying, “You know we can bury anyone.” Hoover has yet to comment on Baldoni’s lawsuits as of publication, but did deactivate her Instagram account.  Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni: trial date set amid feud  Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively filming ‘It Ends with Us’ (2024)Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin / Contributor/Getty On Monday, January 27, it was announced that Lively and Baldoni would appear in court on March 9, 2026, to discuss and debate their separate lawsuits. Before that, the two will appear in a pre-trial hearing on Monday, February 3 to discuss Lively’s gag order against Baldoni, which was issued after the actor’s team leaked the behind-the-scenes video. The history behind the ‘It Ends with Us’ lawsuit  During and after the film’s press tour back in August 2024, fans were quick to notice that Baldoni was absent from cast interviews and events. Furthermore, the internet also noticed that none of the cast followed Baldoni on Instagram.  Perhaps the largest part of the drama came from how the two leading actors promoted the film. While Baldoni promoted the film as a story about domestic assault awareness, Lively faced criticism for presenting it as a lighter, floral-themed movie, though some now view her approach as a coping mechanism amid on-set difficulties. Brandon Sklenar, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds in 2024Cindy Ord / Staff/Getty Cast members Jenny Slater and Brandon Skelner have publicly supported Lively, with Skelner stating, “The women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and choosing a better life.” He continued, “Trust me when I tell you, there isn’t a single person involved in the making of this film who was not aware of the responsibility we had in making this. A responsibility to all the women who have experienced generational trauma–Domestic abuse–Or struggle with looking in the mirror and loving who they see.”  Lively also commented on why she decided to move forward with the lawsuit, telling The New York Times, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”   Source link

I can meet her when we start 🙂 Thank you, though!”  As of publication, Lively’s team has not commented on the notes.

Invisible Mom II (1998)
Film review #622
Director: Fred Olen Ray
SYNOPSIS: When a millionaire passes away, his long-lost grandson Eddie becomes the heir of his fortune. Unbeknownst to him, he is stuck in an orphanage while the hunt for him goes on. He is fostered by the Griffin family, learning that Mrs Griffin has the ability to turn invisible when she is angry, thanks to one of her husband's inventions. However, Eddie's cousins take him away to adopt him so that they can claim the inheritance, and the Griffin's must conduct a rescue before it's too late...
THOUGHTS/ANALYSIS: Invisible Mom II is a 1999 sci-fi children's film, and the follow up to the 1996 film Invisible Mom. two years after the events of the first film, we open to...something completely different, as a man lies dying in bed. His nearest family members eagerly await his death so they can claim his vast fortune, but upon learning that their young cousin Eddie is alive somewhere in Foster care and he will get the entire fortune, they hatch a plan to find and adopt him...and eventually kill him like they have the rest of the family to get their hands on the fortune. The plot is a fairly standard one for a kid's film that's simple enough to follow, and has distinct, yet goofy villains. It should also be noted that it actually has a plot, unlike the first film, in which barely anything happens other than Mr Griffin's boss tries to take credit for the discovery.
Speaking of which, it turns out that the antidote Mrs Griffin took to turn visible again was only partially successful, and she still turns invisible when she gets angry...yes, I'm going to go for the obvious joke here: she's basically The Invisible Hulk. The ending of the first film is hand-waved away, with the formula apparently being taken by the U.S. military and that's the end of it. You might expect a familiar scenario of Eddie being angry or rebellious about his new foster home but...he seems to quite like it immediately: everyone is quite nice to each other all around, and there is no conflict anywhere: even when Eddie decides to try and clean a stain on Josh's jacket with a handheld buzzsaw (????), Josh just shrugs and says he didn't like it anyway. Again, I know this is a children's film, but I'm sure it's okay to have a bit of conflict and tension somewhere? The Griffin's themselves are mostly unchanged from the first film: all the same actors return, although Josh is notably older now as he is a teenager, but we don't get any exciting new character arcs or development for them.
Eddie's cousins turn up to adopt him as his only living relatives and to take him to their home, with the intent of killing him off and collecting the inheritance. Josh stows away in their car, and when his parents learn of it, they must conduct a rescue, and Mom has to turn invisible to rescue them. It's noteworthy that Mrs Griffin barely turns invisible: just three times, the first only happening half-way through the film. Eddie's cousins as the villains are probably the stand-out characters: they really chew the scenery every time they're on screen. Bernard is played by Micky Dolenz of The Monkees fame, and really has a voice that you can't help but listen to. The last part of the film is essentially just Eddie and Josh running about the villains mansion (why do they need the inheritance when they clearly live in a mansion?) while they try to off the children. It's not terribly exciting, and as mentioned, there's not much of any "invisible Mom" shenanigans that add anything to the formulaic plot. Despite all these criticisms, it is well acted, with Dee Wallace as invisible Mom, Micky Dolenz as mentioned, and Justin Berfield as Eddie, who would take the role of Reese in Malcolm in the Middle a year or so later. the film tries to have a bit of fun, but loses its way the moment it tries to veer outside the very formulaic plot. Nevertheless, it is an improvement over its predecessor, if only for the reason there is a bit of a story. Still not a great film, and certainly not for anyone other than young kids who can overlook the gaping plot-holes.

I do not understand how people can call Condi the normal one. Condi Condifiction? The Garfield suit guy? The one who DM'd Apotheosis? The only member of the council who dropped the kinlist? The creator of hatsune meat cat balls monday?
I feel like Condi and his characters have like. An air of normalcy that fools people. But you gotta remember that Jay fell for a vampire lady who sucked her blood. And Vyncent canonically eats rats. Rolan Deep had a panic attack from smoking weed, Emizel chose to bite a vampire after being bit, one of the Apotheosis gods just got carried around as a meat sack and was an asshole, I could go on with literally any Condi character.
Like they're all "normal" on the surface but have such a STRONG undercurrent of weird that it's impossible to have the character without it. You CANNOT tell me Condi is the normal one when he's the point-man for some of the strangest bits in the whole show. I love Condi Condifiction and how every one his characters positively BUZZES with not normal.
