Reader Requests for Stardew Valley are Closed!

I haven't done requests in a hot minute, and I'm looking to take a small break away from my two main projects; I'm now taking fanfic requests for Stardew Valley, with the intention of posting them the week of March 31st. Assuming, of course, that any of y'all are actually interested.

My general guidelines (with a caveat that I can add things as I think of them):

Can be based on the world of Choices, but certainly doesn't have to be

(But if there's something you've wished I'd write/expand on/show in Choices, please ask for it! I'll only decline if it's something that's already planned for its sequel, Changes.)

Can be NSFW, but I won't write anything involving rape, incest, underage characters, nor piss/shit play

That said, please specify what genre/trope you're after. Otherwise, you might be thinking of something fluffy and get full-fledged blorbo torture. Unless you don't care.... 😈

Requesting characters from Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and/or East Scarp is not only welcomed, but encouraged! Especially if you request characters from multiple mods, as that's my bread and butter.

I'll also write vanilla characters, of course!

Length will vary wildly between a drabble or, like, a 5k one-shot, depending on how cooperative my brain is/how much an idea intrigues me. (The last time I did this, the shortest fic was 1.1k words; the longest was 4k words.) This is why I'm opening the requests up so early—the sooner you request something, the more likely you'll end up with something longer.

Depending on whether this garners any interest, fics would go up starting on March 31st and, if there's enough of them, run through April 4th.

“I suppose, petal, if Mr. Marlon is so inclined,” smiled Marnie.

“I would not have said it if I did not mean it.”

Had to run a couple rounds of happy screaming zoomies when I saw that your requests are open again (I already wanted to make a request back when you did it the last time but I was too shy to do so back then ^^') I'd love an "extended scene" from back when Yuuma and Shiro gave Sterling the shovel talk (I was SO curious about that, and protective Shiro is just *mwah*). Or something cute and happy with Shiro in general. But no pressure, I absolutely understand it that life can happen/sometimes the muses just don't cooperate. She rolled her eyes. “Of course not!”

Between that and the lovely reception that Choices has received this year, I thought I'd open up my asks for Stardew Valley reader requests and post them the week of August 19. Caelwynn's Birthday Week SDV Reader Requests #1 - "Bluebell"

Ben, for the record, is her farmer from her fantastic fic, Coffee Beans, Candles, & Keyboards (seriously, check it out! Especially if you're a June lover). Callie, of course, is the main character/farmer from my series Choices.

With Ben not-so-subtly pining over a June who has left the valley to go on tour, Emily agrees to be his partner at the Flower Dance. Unfortunately, her attempts to teach him go... poorly. At her wit's end, she asks Callie for a helping hand. The resident monster hunter easily agrees, looking forward to the opportunity to tease their newest farmer. And if she happens to have another lesson to impart, well, Ben should be glad to benefit from her wisdom and experience.

I really want to read your stuff, but I'm so lost at where to start!

That's the start of my longfic, which is my precious baby primary focus. It originally started as one very long fic. Partway through Choices: Spring, I decided to divide it up into four fics and put it all under a series titled Choices, as staring at X/112 chapters gave me hives. 😅 I'd also divided up the writing by season when I initially wrote it, so it worked fairly well.

Second Chances is the series that Choices was supposed to be a fic under. (Assuming life cooperates, Choices is the start of a trilogy. If life doesn't cooperate, Choices will still work as a stand-alone [I hope].) At that link, in addition to the four fics that make up Choices, are a couple of one-shots that are canon to that world. What Could Have Been, meanwhile, is a bunch of one-shots pulled from my early drafts of Choices. They contain elements that show up in Choices, but are their own thing. I think of them as other timelines where Callie's the farmer.

Reader Requests contains five fics I did for my birthday. These are all little self-contained one-shots, though one of them is a part of Second Chances.

All of that to say, if you like long slow-burns, then start with Choices: Spring. If you prefer shorter pieces, then WCHB or the Reader Requests both work. ^_^

Anyway!

Today in Chapter 16 of Choices: Fall, "Accomplishments," we have so much tooth-rotting fluff. I mean, really. It's like the author is buttering everyone up before shit hits the fan Callie's birthday. This time around, Callie completes the first portion of the quest the Junimos gave her, gaining many boons she never expected. Sterling celebrates an important milestone he never imagined he'd actually reach. Finally, Callie quaffs a potion at the behest of a cat.

Good thing she's used to the weird by now.
