I kinda love how each "canon" romantic pairing has a plausible reason to fail.

Sebastian/Abigail? Sebastian needs his space and Abby has a hard time giving it to him.

Haley/Alex? They only hang out because jocks and queen bees are supposed to hang out, not because they actually enjoy each other's company.

Harvey/Maru? Age gap, plus he's her boss, plus Maru's experiments would throw Harvey's anxiety into overdrive.

Shane/Emily? A crystal woo Yobaite and an atheist are doomed to clash.

Sam/Penny? Nothing in common except an interest in Vincent's welfare.

Elliott/Leah? They're too similar, almost like brother and sister.

The Farmer doesn't have to feel bad about disrupting any one of these romances. They probably weren't going to work out anyway!

YES …. YEESSSS ……. YES ! drawing oldish shane makes me VERY sad I’ve just found that out 😀 but i love the idea that jas would be taller than him 💕💕💕 and i think that shane not liking the word dad is definitely out of cowardice and fear of the word’s implications 💕💕 i think that’s so cute 😫

Guysssssssss I love Maru SOOOO much you don’t even know. It’s hard for me to pick favorite bachelors/bachelorettes bc I do genuinely love them all (Harvey only wins by a MARGIN and that’s just bc he’s just like me fr) but Maru is literally so high up for me I’m always so intimidated about romancing her bc she’s just so cool! But also CA…can we talk about the bob. Why did you give her a BOB! She would not have a bob I’m sorry I had to change that.
