Black Velvet, 2023, by eXoMod Concepts. A contemporary Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat that has been restyled to look like a 1968 Dodge Charger. The process takes 1,500 hours with the new bodywork being fabricated in carbon fibre. Mechanically the car is unchanged but the new bodywork reduces the car's weight by 400lbs so performance is improved. The Black Velvet coats $325,000 or $345,000 for a Jailbreak edition.

The 5 most stolen cars in America—and the 5 least stolen—based on data.
These are the most (and least) stolen cars as of 2023
Using information from the Highway Loss Data Institute of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for the years 2020-2022, Way com compiled a list of the most (and least) stolen cars as of 2023.
The most stolen cars as of 2023
The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and HEMI are the most stolen vehicles for model years 2020-22. Yes, the Dodge Charger models top the list again. According to HLDI's latest report on whole-vehicle theft, the Charger SRT Hellcat theft claims were significantly higher than the average for all 2020-22 models.
The frequency of theft claims for the Charger SRT Hellcat was more than 60 times greater than its presence on the road. Similarly, theft claims for the Charger HEMI were more than 20 times higher than the average.
Since 2011, Charger and Challenger models with big, strong engines have consistently been among the top five most-stolen vehicles. However, the number of theft claims for these models has been increasing significantly over the last three years. A viral trend has caused four Kia models to become popular, and they are now among the top 20 vehicles.
In 2020-22, there were 25 theft claims for every 1,000 insured vehicle years for Charger SRT Hellcat models. This increases from the approximately 18 theft claims for 2019-21 models. To put it in perspective, the Infiniti Q60, the most stolen model from 2017 to 2019, had a theft rate of only two thefts per 1,000 insured vehicle years.
EVs and midsize SUVs comprised most of the least stolen cars list
According to the IIHS, electric vehicles (EVs) are less likely to be stolen. This could be because EVs are usually parked in well-lit and secure areas for charging. According to theft claims, the Tesla Model 3 with dual motors had the lowest frequency of whole vehicle thefts. The Tesla Model Y came in second place.
The Tesla Model 3 (single-motor version), Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, and Nissan Leaf are all included in the list of the 20 least-stolen vehicles for 2020-2022. Six of the vehicles were made by General Motors.
If the trend of low EV theft continues, future Dodge owners may have less to worry about. The gasoline Charger and Challenger models are being phased out and will be replaced by an electric muscle car. The Charger Daytona SRT concept is previewing this new car.

A near stock 7-second blown, nitroused Dodge Demon...need we say more? Step into any auction and original Hemi powered muscle cars can fetch serious coin. In the third quarter of 2014, Dodge would change the landscape forever by offering a powerful new concept for both the Challenger and Charger for 2015. The Hellcat platforms offered all the modern luxuries and conveniences while boasting a 6.2-liter Supercharged Hemi producing a whopping 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The Challenger SRT Hellcat maintained its original 2-door design for that sportier feel while the Charger platform is one helluva family sedan. Read the full Story below: Read the full article

Live Action | The Lincoln Model L100 Concept Vehicle | Lincoln
youtube
The l100 zephyr
That's what we're going to call it there's some math about this car that is intense makes it easy to make and kits will be easy to make and available. The tires and rims fit inside what looks like a little teeny fender and that's what it is and it's a solution but we'll make it integral. You don't like the idea of making it look like the tire. Couple other things the door and roof no but all you have to do is make it into a door and you've completed the task then it looks like it anyways why do it if it doesn't look like it it looks ridiculous opening. It's a bit long but he says that's fine they think all sorts of things about it then you need it and you actually might need it yeah for the engine which would be in the front we're going to start off with a different engine configuration but it still thinks that we should go with the design and we kind of agree. And we do think it's right. And we're going to go ahead and we are going to make this vehicle on the front end is up higher and the front end is a little wide from top to bottom and it uses it Camaro type system with the air goes under so you can make a couple small channels and it probably lower it a little for speed and for real but we'll keep it a little higher so we can use front wheel drive vehicles and we will put the gas actually it's oil shocks in you keep saying gas doesn't necessarily want to use those but it is what people use he says they know how to do it and we'll put in those then they're more expensive and it's a good idea they're still half the price of the oil. I'm kind of laughing cuz I know what the effect is and we kind of need it. So we've got this idea this car with a slight modifications we'd make and with a fiberglass carbon body that's really not fiberglass and roll cage and frame we would be using a Dodge Challenger or Dodge charger as a donor and we would keep the dashboard but not the top of it and the controls and you want to change the seats out they weigh a couple hundred pounds. We're going to go ahead with this idea there's a few reasons why it would work and unlike the Lincoln which is too hard to make but is going to be much faster than this is not true and we'll get to that.
1. The donor cars are dogs and trading it into a Lincoln is kind of an odd thing but it has a similar look is not true this looks real cool and real mean especially when you lower the front end a little it also go much faster:
-0-60mph 3.9 seconds
- quarter mile 6.7 seconds
-top speed w our slight design mods mostly will look just like this 480mph twice the speed of the 800hp challenger. The hellcat top speed 520mph
2. Why do it? And the answer is because you can is twice as fast as your original car in both cases and that's extremely fast it's not such a leap that would be massively noticeable there's another great reason and it is because of the name and the negative connotation that's coming up and because it'll probably cause it to happen. And people driving it would most likely be trumpsters than people want this pretty bad. Right now we know who owns Lincoln and it happens to be Trump and he doesn't understand when you put the kit in it's a solid rear axle and it's speed it would be a little bit rough that's one thing but the car will be easy to build and easy to switch out and the current one is a dog and it goes 230 mph and it's just disgustingly slow for how much power it has this car would go so fast probably well above what we said it's not even funny and it looks very nice kind of like a luxury sports car in perfect for a fly car but yeah the connotation is that you get shot in the head
I'm going to put this in the pipe and see who wants to run it and both his kids are coming forward and his boys and a couple of girls and some others and it's going to be chaotic but this is what it is and they will try and get our son into it after their bosses are dead to try and take over the job and be safe that's how they think
Thor Freya
We probably should look at this my crap is terrible and this is terrible but it seems interesting
Charles Manson duplicate
Boy this is terrible what an idea and he's actually Lincoln so we're going to have to try and put it together
New London no bill Lund
We have to say it's bad there probably is anything Lincoln is bad they own the company and everyone say I'll be dead if I build this she'll probably start with a kit car no he says our production model will be too heavy it won't do the miracle cuz it has to be built like a supercar we can actually do that and use carbon makes a big difference and he's kind of laughing because I'm probably stupid enough to do it probably am I will call it the l100 zephyr the Lincoln Zephyr and Becca sings about it for some reason
Trump
I get the meaning of it now I thought it was the old one and I thought it was ridiculous but this is much different it makes sense
Becka
Olympus he always has a huge front end sticking out his face and all switch other stuff and he gets nailed in the car is perfect for it
I want this up and running and I'm going to put it out and see if people team up and do it it's great and it's going to cream the stupid piece of s*** Trump

Review: All-New 2025 Dodge Charger

The 2025 Dodge Charger design is the clearest indication that electric vehicles are on the rise. Electrifying one of the most powerful muscle cars is a massive undertaking, but it has significant performance benefits. The next-generation Charger will most likely be based on Stellantis' future big electric vehicle platform, which is expected to provide up to 500 miles of range.
Of course, increasing the performance to Hellcat levels will probably result in a lesser range estimate. Speaking of which, Dodge has not revealed much about the new Charger's powertrain, but a YouTube teaser video for the concept car shows the car performing a four-wheel burnout. A gasoline-powered vehicle is also expected, however it will most likely be driven by a twin-turbo inline-six rather than a Hemi V-8.
The new car's style pays homage to classic Challenger and Charger models, as does the return of the Fratzog emblem, which appeared on Dodge vehicles in the 1960s and 1970s. Unlike the outgoing version, the new Charger will be a two-door coupe with a liftback trunk. To ensure that it keeps to Dodge brand standards, the Charger Daytona SRT concept has a unique chambered exhaust system that is said to mimic the sound of the outgoing supercharged V-8 SRT Hellcat model.
The next-generation Charger will be a whole new vehicle in the Dodge portfolio when it goes on sale, most likely for the 2025 model year. It's set to make its official debut in late 2024, but a social media post from Dodge has given us a sneak peek at what the production car will look like.
A four-door variation may also join the roster, but we won't know anything about either until closer to debut. That timing appears to be approaching rapidly, as a reader photographed a production-ready test car on the road near Dodge's headquarters in Michigan.
Dodge has not said how many engines will power the 2019 Charger's various trims, but the entry-level 340 model is expected to produce 455 horsepower, while the mid-range 440 model produces 590 horsepower. A high-performance version, dubbed SRT Banshee, will feature an all-wheel-drive 800-volt architecture, although the horsepower rating has yet to be released. We also know that, rather than a normal EV direct-drive system, the concept car has a multi-speed transmission.
This is not a novel notion; the Porsche Taycan provides something similar, and the configuration is intended to boost performance and range at greater speeds. It also offers the driver the sensation of a gear shift during rapid acceleration. An internal combustion engine is also likely to be supplied, and we believe it will be a derivative of parent firm Stellantis' new turbocharged inline-six known as the Hurricane.
The price of the 2025 Dodge Charger ranges from $50,000 to $90,000, depending on trim and extras. The new Charger is likely to cost more than previous gasoline-powered vehicles, although the values indicated below are only estimates. The 2025 Charger will most likely be available in a variety of trim levels, although only three are currently known.
The first two have the 340 and 440 labels to signify their horsepower in kilowatts. Dodge has also announced that the most powerful model will be dubbed SRT Banshee. When we have additional facts, we will update this story and make a recommendation on which model is the best value.
340 $50,000
440 $60,000
Banshee $90,000

📰 @caranddriver: "Early next year Dodge will show its electric muscle car concept and reveal some specs on the new model. Teaser photos released this summer show the concept's appropriately retro shape, though it's still unclear if both two- and four-door models will be available like the Challenger and Charger. Kuniskis also said to expect a new plug-in hybrid model, which could be referring to the rumored Hornet crossover. Well, you have two years left to buy a Hellcat, which currently starts at $62,975 for the Challenger SRT Hellcat. We won't let the Hellcat's rambunctious whine of its supercharger be forgotten by the whispering whir of electric motors." #Dodge #Mopar #SRT #dodgegarage #1320club #HEMI @dodgeofficial @stellantisna @officialmopar #widebody #DodgeChallenger #Hellcat #carswithoutlimits #707hp #AmericanMuscle #MuscleCars #LXBN #supercharged #DodgeCharger #HellcatRedeye #redeyewidebody #HellcatDurango #710hp #797hp #widebodyhellcat #brotherhoodofmuscle #neverlift #widebodychallenger #challengerwidebody #powerbrokers #directconnection (at Car and Driver) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWn1bf4FSZV/?utm_medium=tumblr

It's probably enough to say ours is cool looking like this this is very cool looking this is extremely fast car it goes 2300 miles per hour top speed and that's with the 1000 base horsepower hellcat charger that you can buy stock still but the the new one is not strong enough the frame is not so people are after those cars we will not announce when the kids going to come out we only have a couple more issues on the tire extender we're going to use we don't think that's adequate the one that has to be put on is a bit pricier but not that much it's like $200 a wheel and he says that this level of the kit that is insignificant and we agree we also need to do the complete testing so we have the car together all of them and it is a C1 to c3 Plus a go-kart and we're going to bring that to the salt flats and we're going to put it out there first and we're going to put he said to put the paint on there and Ferrari did not make this car either okay this is a concept car and someone made a model and did not make the car and it was Brad they told him you have to have wheel wells and just put wheels covers so he's going to build the car and it's going to be extremely fast it will be about as fast as we said we built one and we did put the wheel wells in and skinny things so you guys like making them skinny. And he wants to put the go-karts out and the two different motors and people laugh and think that's what the whole thing is from them and they're offering us you know like a fake thing and that's what they usually do and that's that's what we're going to leave it at you friends are selling this kits we have many reasons to find people who are competent use them after you do the same exact ones and so on
So he said to take the numbers I usually do but he wants to have it like really nice paint job done on the go-karts and we might use metal panels and you said probably but that would be as fun because when you get past the finish line before the timing several runs if you want to show them what it's made out of so we're going to go with and I was thinking furniture and you thinking marine plywood we're going to go with the marine plywood you can get half inch it's very solid it holds almost anything in his panels in his boat lasted forever they're still decent for a little bit messed up but these are going to be covered and painted over and sealed and if you painted it once a year they last so people like that in the kit there's several other things that go in the kit and regret plywood will be an alternate and he says regular AC is good and that's a grade of plywood for construction and usually it's like a finished plywood for the interior and he's right because he's going to be stealing it and painting it and you can recommend painting the interior it's going to be nice this is a really nice idea and he wants to have stereos and like putting put the nice interior in we have these seats picked out they kind of a go-kart seat and he wants like a nice stereo in there and all sorts of things in the hash to open like we said and the Tumblr so have like three we have four versions of the two versions of the stealth and two versions of the tumbler and we'll each have different interiors and we're going to make those up all together and we're going to make them look cool and we're going to make the dashboard the one that you get in the kit and it's going to look cool like a cockpit they'll be a radio place for it is he a CB I'm a lot of people used to CB when they're riding and you can drive and use the handheld and it's really nice and you could use a stereo so we're going to set it up and kind of put a few things in it so it's nice and heating and cooling and we'll be out there with those first

The 2019/1969 Dodge Charger Hellcat Concept
By Dave Ashton
There’s always something very sexy and appealing about a high-quality restomod build. The whole point of a restomod build is to take the classic looks from a vintage muscle car and then kit it out with the latest and greatest parts. Not just that, but also providing the car with the detail and finish to turn the heads of the most critical show judges.
In this regard, Sixtwelve Autoworx Have stuck to this principle, opting to migrate all the best bits from a modern Dodge Charger Hellcat into a classic 1969 Charger. The ultimate idea was to give classic looks, but also as it states at the beginning of the video, the feeling and drivability that you’d expect in a modern Hellcat Charger.

Making everything works seamlessly is the number one task which started with upgrading the suspension, a cold air intake and a Magna flow exhaust. Everything else was bone stock out of the Hellcat. Lining up everything so it fits, then making loads of parts from carbon fiber was the common theme here, with many tweaks needed to the original Charger body to make everything fit.
For example, the explanation of how they molded a new mirror enclosure to fit the workings of the Hellcat version, shows the level of detail put into this build.
You’re obviously going to have to dig deep into your funds to enjoy a ride such as this one. But, if you want the best of the best of marrying the old and the new, you can’t go far wrong with this build.
