Teatr Marzeń

Canon EOS 77D, EF-S10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
[EN] I’ve been away from the blog for a while — now I’m back. With an image that’s with me more often than you might think.
It’s a scene I pass every time I take my favorite path to the beach. There’s a road between the fields, running along the crest of a small hill. An unremarkable rise — yet a perfect vantage point.
Right at the top, in the very center, stands a lone tree. And next to it, someone once placed a chair.
I don’t know who. I’ve never seen anyone sit there. And yet, it’s been standing for as long as I can remember.
And I get it. If I weren’t always setting out for a long walk — maybe I’d sit there too. Maybe I’d lean back and contemplate the nature of all things.
It’s a beautiful corner of the world. And I’m glad someone left that chair there. Maybe not for themselves. Maybe for someone like me.
Niepozorne wzniesienie — a jednak świetny punkt obserwacyjny.
W samym jego centrum, w najwyższym miejscu, rośnie samotne drzewo. A tuż obok niego ktoś kiedyś ustawił krzesełko.
Nie wiem kto. Nigdy nie widziałem, żeby ktoś na nim siedział. A jednak stoi tam, odkąd pamiętam.
I wcale się temu nie dziwię. Gdyby nie to, że zazwyczaj nastawiam się na długi marsz — może i ja bym przysiadł. Może rozsiadłbym się wygodnie i kontemplował naturę wszechrzeczy.
To piękny kawałek świata. I dobrze, że ktoś postawił tam krzesełko. Może nie dla siebie. Może właśnie dla kogoś takiego jak ja.

Sunrise or Sunset: The Magic of Both
Source: Image by Bradley Hook from Pexels
Source: Image by Bradley Hook from Pexels
I love watching sunrises and sunsets. Every day, I try to find a silent spot to sit and watch the sky change colors. The way the sun slowly rises in the morning and disappears in the evening behind the horizon makes me feel calm and thankful. I enjoy the peaceful moments when everything feels still. Sometimes, I take photos to remember the beauty, but I mostly sit and enjoy. Watching both the sunrises and sunsets reminds me to slow down and appreciate life’s small, beautiful moments. But when it comes to choosing between the two, people find themselves torn.
Is it the soft promise of a new day or the golden goodbye of an old one that speaks to the soul more deeply? Let’s explore the beauty, symbolism, and emotional impact of each to find out what truly makes them special and discover which resonates more with you.
The Beauty of a Sunrise
A sunrise is soft and gentle. It slowly pushes away the dark with colors like pink, orange, and gold. Birds start singing, and the world begins to wake up. Everything feels quiet and calm. Many photographers like sunrises because the light is soft and there are fewer people around. This makes it easier to take beautiful photos. Sunrises also stand for hope and new beginnings. They remind us that each day is a fresh start, no matter what happened before.
The Beauty of a Sunset
A sunset feels warm, bright, and full of color. The sun slowly goes down, and the sky turns red, purple, and orange. It looks like a big, beautiful painting before night comes. Even in busy places, people often stop to look at the sunset. Whether on a beach, rooftop, or a quiet hill, sunsets bring people together and make them think quietly. Sunsets show us it’s time to rest, slow down, and let go of the day.
Sunrise or Sunset: Different Ways to See It

When people talk about sunrise or sunset, it often depends on the kind of person they are. Are you someone who wakes up early or someone who likes staying up late? Some people love the sunrise because it feels like a fresh start. It’s a time to plan and get ready for the day. Others love the sunset because it’s time to relax, think about the day, and feel peaceful. In many cultures, mornings are for prayers to bring good energy, and evenings are for saying thanks and letting go of worries.
Mental and Emotional Impact
Scientists say that natural light, like during sunrise and sunset, is very good for our mental health. Morning light helps set our body clock, helps us sleep better, and makes us feel happier by raising a chemical called serotonin. That’s why being outside at sunrise can help people who feel sad or worried. Sunsets also help. Watching a sunset makes us feel calm and teaches us to enjoy the moment. It reminds us to slow down and relax from our busy day.

When people travel, they often look for the best places to see the sunrise or sunset. For example, at Mount Bromo in Indonesia, people wake up at 3 AM to watch the sun rise over the volcanoes. At the Grand Canyon, the sunset makes the rocks shine like gold. Whether you are at the beach, desert, or in a city, these moments are often the best part of the trip. Photographers also love sunrise and sunset because the light looks soft and colorful. If you are a creator, you can choose sunrise or sunset depending on the feeling you want to show: calm, hope, or excitement.
Philosophical and Spiritual Meanings
A sunrise can show the start of a new journey, like the soul moving closer to its true purpose. It feels like the first step on a special path. A sunset can mean wisdom and peace, showing the end of something important with kindness.
In spiritual life, both sunrise and sunset are seen as holy times. Doing yoga at sunrise wakes up the body and mind, while meditating at sunset helps you feel calm and ready for sleep.
Choosing between sunrise and sunset is not just about which looks nicer, it’s about which one touches your heart more.
Environmental Influence

Where you live can change whether you like sunrise or sunset more. In places with big mountains, sunrises can look very beautiful as the sun rises over the hills. In towns near the ocean facing west, sunsets over the water can be amazing. The weather, seasons, and even the air also make a difference. Cold winter mornings often have very clear sunrises, while summer evenings usually have longer and more colorful sunsets.

The Answer: Sunrise or Sunset?
There is no right or wrong choice when it comes to sunrise or sunset. Both are special in their own way, and what you like might say something about your personality. If you want a fresh start, focus, and energy, you might enjoy sunrises more. But if you like peace, reflection, and seeing the beauty in endings, sunsets might be your favorite. No matter which one you prefer, both remind us of how life goes in cycles, giving us two chances each day to enjoy the beauty around us.
Conclusion
In our busy lives, moments like these are more than just beautiful views, they remind us to slow down and enjoy the present. If you wake up early to see the sunrise or take time to watch the sunset, you are taking part in something special from nature. So, the next time someone asks if you prefer sunrise or sunset, don’t rush to answer. Think about what each one means to you, and maybe enjoy both. It is not about choosing one, but appreciating both.

F.B.I.N.S.
There’s a strange comfort in the quiet, like the world pauses just long enough for you to notice the things you usually miss. Light doesn’t always burst in through the windows — sometimes it slips in softly, lingering in the corners where no one thinks to look.
I’ve found that absence isn’t as empty as it seems. It leaves behind shapes, outlines of moments that were almost something but faded before they could fully form. And somehow, even that feels like enough — like there’s beauty in the things that didn’t happen, in the spaces where memories could have been.
Some people carry that same kind of quiet light. It’s not something you can see right away, but if you stay long enough, you start to notice the way they soften the edges of the room just by being there. It’s gentle, almost fragile, but it lingers — like the last bit of sunlight that clings to the sky before night fully settles in.
Not all shadows are heavy. Some stretch out beside you like an old friend, staying close but never pressing too hard. And maybe that’s the beauty of it – knowing that even when things feel hollow, there’s still light tucked away somewhere, waiting to be found.
Because sometimes, darkness can show you the light.
