センシュウ

千秋（ちあき）は、リンゴの品種のひとつで、日本の青森県で多く栽培されています。1989年に育成された比較的新しい品種で、ふじとつがるを交配して生まれました。果実は、鮮やかな赤色で、果肉は緻密で歯ごたえがあり、甘味と酸味のバランスが良いことが特徴です。収穫時期は9月下旬から10月上旬頃で、日持ちが良く、長期保存が可能な品種です。千秋は、その美味しさから人気が高く、青森県の代表的なリンゴ品種の一つとなっています。また、千秋の果汁は、ジュースやシードルなどの加工品にも利用され、幅広い用途で楽しむことができます。

I’ve started working on the gift! So far, we have the box, but no pages in it yet. The lid was tough to get right, but I did it! I’ll post pictures as I work! (I haven't been doing this - oops! I will~ soon~)

The deadline is still February 1, but it’s always okay to submit sooner! (I’d really appreciate it!)

Update! (Chiaki’s Graduation Gift)

Hi again! Thank you to everyone who’s told me they’re participating and to everyone who’s already submitted!

I got all the supplies and am going to start working on it soon! So if you haven’t already said you’re going to participate, please please please let me know right away (you don’t have to have your message ready yet!) because I don’t want to have to totally restructure my plans because ten people showed up right at the end.

I don’t want to have to put a cutoff date because I want everyone to be able to participate and not miss out because they weren’t online for a couple days, buuuuuut I need to know! If you haven’t told me by tomorrow night (January 18 in the US), you’ll be able to participate only on a space-available basis.

Also, if you said you’re participating in the tags when you reblogged the original post, I’m not going to see that. Please send me a message, reply to this or the original post, or tweet at me.

If you’re not on here and you want to participate (or you sent yours and you’re not bolded) let me know on this post, okay?
