He's a genie, a police inspector, and a detective.

I the idea to make a magical oc from watching "Bewitched" (1964-1972) and "I dream of Jeannie" (1965-1970)

His personality is a mix of yosemite sam, Garnet, Alice Kramden, Nichole Watterson, Brian Griffin (from the earlier seasons of family guy), and police detectives from some old, vintage, European murder mysteries and thrillers I watch

The haunting but fun song, “Chief Inspector,'' has a mischievous air that’s addictive as well as it is free flowing. It’s an interesting story of a detective that becomes the hunted but has a larger meaning than just the story being told. Stephen shares that it’s a message he is telling to himself.

“I didn’t know what I was writing at first, but it turned out to be a kind of warning and a piece of advice, and it turned out I was talking to myself. I think now I was hearing from the part of me that was unhappy that I hadn’t really been making music in awhile. So I rectified that, and now we’re closer than we’ve ever been.” says Stephen.

The John Mayer and Johnny Cash inspirations create an old school sounding, soulful blues with the fast paced energy of something more modern. There is a gritty vulnerability within Stephen’s words and voice.

The relentlessly strummed guitar chords as well as the soft rifts create the perfect foundation for the vibe Stephen wants to create. The vibe in question is a guy from the wrong side of the tracks, fearlessly expressing emotion, while maintaining a cool energy. This is intoxicating to listen to and keeps the listeners hooked.
