I present to you...
MAUD
Tumblr media
She is the child of Aim (by @zu-is-here) and Axel (by @ari-cuno)
- In this design, she is in her late teens.
- she is a born daughter of Aim and Axel (that's why you should not hold hands with your friends)
- she is a few inches smaller than Aim (if not experienced on...she could have been as tall as him, if not taller...)
- there currently are two timelines (it is complicated, i will try to explain it better under the cut)
Maud here has two main timelines going on - one in which she meets Maim ("evil" Aim) and in the other she meets an alternative version of her family.
But let's start from the beginning.
Maud was actually a name chosen by Maud herself... she doesn't think she can be called the name her parents chose for her...because she isn't the same as before.
Regardless, she was born as the youngest child (a few years after Eve, by @ari-cuno, was born, for reference). She had a good life...
She looked up to her sisters a lot, always joining them in ever chaos they caused - for Axel's dismay - and she liked to watch her other father working on his inventions.
She liked whenever her grandpa brought her plushies...
...
But then... it happened.
Remember what Error said in Underverse about the multiverse being a notebook that couldn't have all its pages filled?
:)
...The Omega Timeline she lived - along with its multiverse - got corrupted beyond saving. It was so sudden nobody in it could do something about it...
...Maud, for some miracle, was saved by a group of scientists before the corruption hit her. She is the only one that didn't get corrupted beyond saving.
Though, the scientists didn't do it with good intentions. A descendant of three of the most powerful beings of every multiverse on the palm of your hand isn't something they would want to let go off...
Under the promise of getging help, she agreed on helping them...
Her SOUL was experimented on, her powers' limits as well...and beyond what it could be considered good for her mental and physical health.
The scientists weren't kind to her outside of the experiments too... the best way to deal with them was to make it look like their intimidation didn't get to her...or literally anything else.
At some point... everything they did didn't get to her... she was just... existing.
...until Condiment broke in to the laboratory to steal something precious to him.
Maud tried to stop him, but Condiment convinced her to change sides and...with his help, she finally escaped the lab.
But before that...something...something triggered her anger. Something that provoked her feels to the point no scientist was left in the laboratory...
...
And now, it is when things get more narratively complicated: the timelines.
Like before, timeline in which Maud meets Maim will be red and the one in which she meets an alternative version of her family will be orange.
-_-_-_-_-
Fresh out of the lab, Maud is a teen around her 13-14 years. Her spirit is fuelled with silent anger... which she only really showed in the lab.
She is wary of Condiment. She knows he isn't a good guy, but he helped her...and he is all she got if she wants to live a bit longer.
... Or is he?
...In middle of a search of a certain item for a client, Maud and Condiment get a sight of Maim's army.
Condiment tells her it isn't good to be on their way as it would only provoke a delay on their mission... even if they have some good things with them.
...Maud doesn't listen, even if Condiment is right. Why?
...it was the first time she saw the image of her dad in years. And...she wanted to see him again.
...she only wants a little peak, but nothing escapes Maim's gaze... He does an interrogatory and... invites her to his army even though she invaded its base?
...between the dubious guy who helped her and a so known violent person who isn't her father but resembles him in some ways (even in appearance)... she choses the later.
Given her context, can you blame her?
....in other timeline though, she never met Maim...so she just...stuck around.
Her relationship with Condiment is...weird. They are a weird mix of work colleagues and...siblings?
They care about each other, they are just... very dense about it - Maud has her own stuff going on and Condy...isn't the best with feelings, even for a fell-universe.
It isn't the healthiest thing ever for either of them, but Condy doesn't care about it, while Maud herself doesn't do crap because... he is the only one who saw her true colors and still chose to stay - not for the best intentions, but he is all she got in this timeline.
During a certain mission, they have to enter a Omega Timeline. Condiment tells Maud to not let herself be distracted and focus on the mission, but can she really be that apathic to everything like she has been ever since she joined him?
...we already know the answer ;3

Carolina Gold Barbecue Sauce Remix A flavorful twist on the classic Carolina Gold Barbecue Sauce, perfect for enhancing your grilled meats and sides. Ingredients: - 1 cup yellow mustard - 1/3 cup brown sugar - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar - 1/4 cup honey - 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp Tabasco sauce - 1 tsp molasses - 1/2 tsp onion powder - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tsp each, coarse salt and fresh cracked black pepper Instructions: 1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine all the ingredients and whisk together until smooth. 2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat and let it bubble gently for about 5 minutes, stirring often to prevent scorching. 3. As the sauce cooks, taste it and adjust the flavors as desired. If it’s too tangy, add a bit more honey or brown sugar. If you prefer extra heat, increase the amount of Tabasco sauce. 4. Once the sauce has cooled completely, pour it into a jar or airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it. 5. This sauce can be kept in the fridge for up to a month. For longer storage, you can freeze it. Always use your best judgment regarding its safety.

Sweet Potato Jam - 5 Stars
Vegetarian
Vegan
Gluten Free
Dairy Free
This is such a gem of a recipe. If you're like me, you grew up loving jelly for it's sweet fruit taste but ambivalent towards jam, which had suspicious chunks of fruits and worse, seeds, lurking within. I eventually got over my aversion to chunks of fruit, but this jam has the bonus of a uniform texture, almost like a thick applesauce, that I really appreciate. This is delicious on anything. It's tangy, tart, and sweet, and oddly just like a sweet potato. If you're only going to make two recipes from this book, make this your second, along with the Sweet Potato Biscuits.
Tumblr media
Ingredients:
1 to 1 1/4 pounds (2 medium) sweet potatoes, peeled
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (from 2 to 3 limes)
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp pure almond extract
Grate the sweet potatoes into long, thick shreds. (The grating disk of a food processor produces the best results, but the large holes of a box grater will work as well.)
In a medium bowl, combine the shredded potatoes and sugar and mix well with your hands.
Add the mixture to a medium large saucepan and set over medium heat. Cover and cook, stirring and smashing frequently with the back of a wooden spoon, until the potatoes have mostly collapsed, about 30 minutes.
Add the lime juice, salt, and almond extract. Stir well. Transfer to a lidded container and store in the refrigerator. The jam will keep for at least 2 months.

Japanese Pickled Shiso Leaves
The first time I experimented with shiso I made Korean steamed shiso leaves. This was a couple weeks ago and the plants I found were quite young and I was working with very small leaves, which I decided didn’t really work well for the recipe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last week I found a big patch of shiso growing in a glade with the blackberries and dewberries. These plants were at least twice as big as the ones I had found earlier. I foraged just enough of the larger leaves to make a recipe I had found for Japanese pickled shiso leaves. This recipe is similar to the Korean one, but instead of steaming the leaves in the liquid for a short time, they are simply marinaded in the liquid for 30 minutes. I thought since these leaves are still smaller than what you find in the Asian markets, they might hold their shape better than if I cooked them.
Tumblr media
I laid the leaves out biggest to smallest, which I thought would make it easier to layer them in the bowl.
Tumblr media
I combined a tablespoon each of soy sauce and sesame oil, and sprinkled in a little minced garlic and shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven-flavor chili pepper).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I then started with the largest leaf and covered it with a small amount of the liquid and then layered on the next leaf and so on. Once all the leaves were stacked, I poured the remainder of the liquid over them and covered the bowl with plastic wrap, pushing it directly on top of the leaves to trap them tightly with the liquid.
These are typically served with rice, but I wanted some protein for lunch so I made Korean steamed eggs. This was my favorite shiso leaf recipe so far. And pretty!! Very umami and herby. I liked the texture of the leaves better this way than steamed.
I think next time I might add a little mirin though for a touch of sweetness.

I wanted to do something with my less known OCs for a while, and this seemed to be a good idea.
This meme was basically stolen from @zu-is-here's old works.
All characters belong to me, except for Amoris Plena, who makes a lil' cameo and belongs to @help-im-a-gay-fish
Gayfish also is the one who designed Condiment!
