"seriously, freddie. you didn't even try to stop him. some kind of captain you are."

Tried to Tell You by @sapphicalexaandra headcanons:

Without specifics, Jess’s backstory would be a funny split screen with Lupe’s. Lupe is dealing with her family and raising a literal baby while Jess is absolutely fuck boy partying.

Jess’s family is really excited to meet Lupe and Alma but also doesn’t know how to act considering Jess has only ever brought flings around and that’s not really an introductory/we’re all hanging out and getting to know each other situation. It’s painfully obvious.

Jess and Lupe do eventually have a convo about having more kids, not because they are really questioning it, but because they both assumed the other wouldn’t want to and realized they never actually talked about it.

Lupe feels guilty for a while about Jess sharing parental duties. After a series of really cute moments (Jess being excited to pick Alma up from school, taking care of her when she was sick, napping together, etc) that feeling subsides.

At some point Alma calls Jess daddy because, kid logic, she already has a mami and papi so daddy is fair game. The team thinks it’s hilarious.

Their house is effectively team HQ when Alma is there. Everyone knows when game night is, brunch and family dinners and will just show up if they feel like it. It takes a village and Lupe is happy to have all the support. They do not randomly show up like that on off weeks. Carson found out the hard way.

Julie would have been happy to keep the conversation going. She made a mental note to drop by Outlaw Ink to continue the conversation -- it might be nice to have lunch with someone other than the radio. TJ had questions, though, not she blamed them. "It's still an active investigation," she mimicked the tone of the insurance adjuster briefly, then rolled her eyes. Her own natural tone returning, she lifted her mug towards her mouth, muffling herself a little. "I think they'll try to pin it on me in some way. Salon's are filled with things that can make a fire rage out of control, hairspray and all that. Whatever they can do to pay out the least amount of money on a policy I've been paying into for years. We'll see how bad it all is tomorrow, though. The chief and my adjuster will meet me there, then."

Someone definitely set the fire. She knew that since she saw her husband's face in the hospital. The question was who? Her insurance company wouldn't really care about all of that, but she did.

"Hodel? Dude, same. Who says that kinda stuff on the phone? 'If I did it they'll never be able to prove it now'? Dude, please. Even his family thought he was guilty." TJ hadn't expected Julie to know what the hell they were talking about, so they always got a little excited when someone engaged them in that kind of conversation and didn't just dismiss them as a weirdo. They almost felt bad changing the conversation. They got the impression maybe Julie wouldn't even want them to, but it felt like lying, too, to not even address it.

"Sorry, I'll put my sympathy eyes away." TJ had been on the receiving end of them too many times, too. They could hear the words, see the expression on people's faces as they said them. Oh, that must have been so awful for you, being in prison so long, you poor thing. It got tiresome.

"If anyone was hurt, this'd be a completely different conversation. I'm glad about that too." Arson was largely considered to be a stepping stone for murderers, and often a kind of sociopathy, part of the MacDonald Triad. There was a particular kind of recklessness and disregard for human life that came with it, because once the flames got out of control, you'd have a hard time stopping them.

"I do have a Ring camera, but I could probably do some upgrades." Part of TJ was worried about having too much of a footprint, though. "Problem with that is some of the people I got coming and going might not wanna be under surveillance. I gotta figure out how to balance it." Maybe TJ could just switch them off if any of the Cowboys or any customers came over. "Did they find anything out about how it happened yet? It's pretty crazy how it went up like that."

well i watched downton abbey movie 1 :3

it was good fun!! umm let's get through the niggles first

the spinny camera thing did so much spinny at the start that it was dizzying (i've also only had about 2.5h of sleep so... but i did feel like it was a biiiit too spinny)

after the king and queen left downton i felt like the movie should've ended there, interestingly, even though there was still stuff left to be resolved. i think it's because the thing to send the royal staff away/lock them in their rooms was so fun that when it was over it was like, WELL that's all over then. or idk. something.

i thought daisy and andy's convo near the end of the movie was lol. but very sweet

anyway, now for the good stuff (or at least not my major criticisms) YAY thomas got a boyfriend for a bit. also omg can't believe ... well he HAS talked to the duke ofc in 1x01 but i guess he means another servant. i guess it's hard to find gay people in a tiny village like downton, esp at that time (might even be hard now, depending on things, maybe? haha kjsffg this is not very coherent or concise, i DID only have 2.5h of sleep)

hey!! firstly i want to apologise that this is so late! i forgot my password for tumblr so i wasn't getting notifications🙀 secondly, please don't feel pressured to add any of these headcanons, since i replied so late! thirdly, i am a little bit drunk (work christmas parties, am i right?😂) so if this doesn't make any sense i sincerely apologise.

(ps, i sorta used this as an excuse to geek out about my headcanons and write a lil mini fic hehe. if you have any thoughts about this please reply!!) NOW, onto the christmas festivities! i am so excited about this question, adding headcanons to my fav characters is one of my hobbies haaha.

bess would 100% be in charge of decorating. tinsel, lights, a tree, the works. not only does she decorate the claw to an inch of its life, but the drew's placeas well. for the first time since her mother died there's colour and life in the household, and nancy doesn't know how she feels about it. ace is bess' partner in crime, diligetly holding boxes of decorations and telling her to move it slightly to the left, no right, OKAY there thats perfect.

speaking of ace, nancy is a little bit ignorant towards his jewish faith. not in an intentional way, but noticing this sort of stuff is usually nick's job (or bess). nancy is still grieving her mother, sure, but she's distant and somewhat shocked when ace mentions he doesn't celebrate christmas. they have a moment when solving a case together where he stops and explains hanukkah and his faith to nancy. obviously she knew, but she gets a bit singleminded when shes on a case. the convo ends with them having a moment (tm) and maybe a hug <3

nick has an old camcorder that his grandpa had sent him from florida. on it is loads of videos of nick during christmas time, which makes him secretly emotional. he shares this with george, but not the rest of the drew crew. he starts bringing the camera around everywhere with him; catching bess decorating the tree, ace stoned and nancy drunk in the office of the claw. theres a sneaky lil video of george half dressed, but not in a pornagraphic kind of way. nick likes recording the things he loves, and he manages to capture george in a way that is both sexaually empowering for her while still being soft, secretive and beautiful. carson and ryan even make a feature on nick's camera: the two of them arguing about how to assemble a gingerbread house that ends in a food fight.

george hates christmas. hates it with a passion. and yet...this year it doesn't seem too bad. nick is constantly around, supplying her with chocolate and organising lunch with her family and genuinely just being helpful. despite the cold the claw is busy during the christmas season, especially christmas eve when families come for a cheap meal and an even cheaper glasses of wine. ace convinces her to take a trip in florence, and they spend the night drinking lukewarm hot chocolate and staring at the christmas lights of horseshoe bay. the next day, bess is furious she wasn't invited and makes george come over for christmas cocktails and cookie decorating.

(they end up getting smashed due to bess' liberal measuring and spend the rest of the night in nancys closet, trying on sweaters and makeup)

Brooke knew it was wrong to continue entertaining the idea that she could date both men without any repercussions, but for now there hadn't been any, so she wasn't interested in pondering what they might be for too long. Especially not when at this point she could have her cake and eat it too. She should've let Carson end it like he was trying to, be the good person she knew he was, but she wasn't ready to let him go yet. "Well obviously, that's why I make sure he doesn't know." she countered, her smirk widening as she took a slight step closer to him, her boyfriend preoccupied with being one of the centers of attention at the party as usual. "Mhhm, you know me, and you like me, and we should go talk somewhere more private for a few minutes." she suggested, a mischievous twinkle in her dark hues as she looked up at him.

There was a clear difference when it came to Dean and Carson. It was obvious to Carson when they played on their team and it was obvious even when they weren't playing. Dean was the life of the party at all times and he was made for the lifestyle of being a popular athlete. Carson liked the sport but he didn't like the interviews, he didn't like the attention. "I know but also shockingly I don't like getting punched and I have a feeling Dean would punch me if he knew." Dean for sure would not let that slide without a few hits. "Because it's never just talking Brooke, I know you."

Oh pls I imagine it being at breakfast one day and maybe it’s an off day for the leafs. Mia’s on a routine so she, Carson and Auston are up at their usually times even though Carson would tell Auston he can sleep in and she’ll get up with Mia, he’d still get up to be with his girls unless he’s not feeling well or something. Anyways, so this particular morning because it’s an off day, Matthew sleeps in so he doesn’t eat breakfast with them. Carson’s told him to make himself at home and so she cuts up extra fruit for him to have too but he’s welcome to make anything he wants from the food they have or she’ll save him leftovers depending on what they all eat. Once Mia is done eating, and she’s already asked about Matthew, as soon as she’s out of her chair she’s like “I go see Matty” and BEELINES it out of the kitchen to go down the hall where his bedroom is and Carson and Auston have to act fast. So Auston scoops her up real quick and tickles her sides getting a giggle out of her and bring her to the living room and as they’re walking after Mia’s done laughing she leans back to look at Auston with a bit of a pout and says “Matty, daddy” and points back down the hallway and Auston kisses her head because she’s so freaking cute and it’s so hard to not give her everything she wants then he says “I know, baby. You’ll see him when he wakes up” and that bottom lip turns into an even bigger pout because she wants to see Matthew now and Auston explains to her about privacy and how that’s not her room. She can’t just go in as she wants and she can’t go banging on the door because she wants to play with him. How she needs to be respectful of his space and that he’s respectful of her space and it’s only fair for her to do the same and Mia doesn’t love it she definitely gets a little teary eyed at not being able to go wake up her buddy but she understands and soon becomes occupied with something else to keep her busy until matthew does wake up

Todos conocemos a los François, ¿Quién no ha ido a comprar a su tienda y fue recibido con la mejor atención de Devil's Marsh? pero, una vez más, para nuestra sorpresa, el joven Brown afirma que nada de lo que vemos es cierto. En una de las entrevistas que dio a la policía, Brown contó que los François son una de la familias más hipócritas del pueblo, pero que el peor de ellos es uno de los más jóvenes. No dio nombres, pero reveló que uno de los François montó toda una escena del crimen en la tienda de sus padres sin ninguna razón. Seguramente muchos recordaran el incidente de la tienda cuando una mañana como cualquier otra, al abrir el local, los François se encontraron con todo el lugar hecho un desastre. Este acontecimiento causo tanto revuelo que cada vecino decidió aumentar la seguridad de sus hogares y tiendas. Pero, al parecer, ese incidente no fue precisamente un incidente... si no algo premeditado y calculado. En las redes sospechan que el autor de tal obra fue Carson François ( @carcois ), pero también se han nombrado al resto de sus hermanos.
