New Hire Process

I am currently in the process of new hire documents/paper work. I officially start in January 2018. I am so excited and so scared because this will be the real thing! I have been working as a care partner (cna/nursing assistant) for about 1 year and a half. The scope of practice as a care partner is so limited, but I have become used to certain tasks/responsibilities. Now that I have an RN job I have to shift my gears and focus on a new scope of practice. We were emailed schedules in regards to EPIC training, safe patient handling class, ekg classes, unit orientation and lecture days. I am so ready and yet so scared. I have been relaxing since August and now it feels like I am going back to school. Ready for this new journey!
