CryptoTracker im Alltagstest: Stylisher Krypto-Ticker mit WLAN-Anbindung

Mit dem CryptoTracker von Jingle Mining habe ich ein kleines Gadget zum Testen erhalten, das auf den ersten Blick an Geräte wie den NerdMiner oder LottoMiner erinnert – doch der Schein trügt: Der CryptoTracker ist kein Mining-Display und zeigt auch keine Hashrate oder Lotteriedaten an. Stattdessen konzentriert sich das Gerät auf eine übersichtliche Darstellung von Kursinformationen. Standardmäßig zeigt der CryptoTracker den aktuellen Bitcoin-Kurs in US-Dollar an, inklusive der prozentualen Veränderung (steigend oder fallend), sowie Datum und Uhrzeit. Über das integrierte Web-Interface lassen sich jedoch auch viele andere Kryptowährungen wie Ethereum, Dogecoin oder Solana auswählen. Ein minimalistisches, stets aktuelles Krypto-Display für den Schreibtisch – ohne Schnickschnack, aber mit Stil. WLAN-Zugangsdaten eingebenIm minimalistischen Webinterface trägst du nun dein Heimnetzwerk (SSID) und das passende Passwort ein. Nach dem Speichern startet das Gerät neu und verbindet sich automatisch mit deinem WLAN. Über diese Adresse erreichst du später das Web-Frontend des CryptoTrackers. Web-Interface aufrufen und konfigurierenGib die angezeigte IP-Adresse im Browser ein, um auf das Web-Interface zuzugreifen. Dort kannst du folgende Einstellungen vornehmen: - Auswahl der anzuzeigenden Kryptowährung (z. B. BTC, ETH, DOGE, USDT usw.) - Auswahl der Zeitzone - Anpassung der Displayhelligkeit Was wird angezeigt? Der CryptoTracker zeigt nicht nur den aktuellen Bitcoin-Kurs an – sondern unterstützt auch viele weitere Kryptowährungen, darunter Ethereum, Dogecoin, Solana, Litecoin und viele mehr. Nach der ersten Einrichtung kann über ein minimalistisches Web-Interface bequem ausgewählt werden, welche Coin auf dem Display angezeigt werden soll. Krypto-Kurse auf dem CryptoTracker Sobald der CryptoTracker eingerichtet ist, erscheinen auf dem 240×240 Pixel großen LCD-Display die folgenden Informationen zur gewählten Kryptowährung: - Aktueller KurswertAngezeigt in US-Dollar, inklusive Live-Aktualisierung in regelmäßigen Abständen. - Kursveränderung in rblich hervorgehobene Darstellung der positiven oder negativen Kursentwicklung mit Pfeilsymbol. - Datum und UhrzeitDiese werden im festen amerikanischen Format angezeigt, eine Umstellung des Formats ist derzeit leider nicht möglich. Warum dieses Gadget besonders cool ist Der CryptoTracker ist mehr als nur ein hübsches Display – er bietet genau die Funktion, die bei vielen beliebten Crypto-Gadgets fehlt: den aktuellen Kurs auf einen Blick. Bei klassischen Geräten wie dem NerdMiner sucht man vergeblich nach einer Kursanzeige – dort stehen Mining-Daten oder Lotterieinformationen im Fokus. Wer hingegen einfach nur wissen will, wie sich der Bitcoin oder eine andere Kryptowährung gerade entwickelt, wird hier fündig.Eine Ausnahme bildet der Mars Lander v2 Solo Miner, der ebenfalls Kursdaten einblendet – allerdings in einem ganz anderen Preissegment. Besonders praktisch: Über das integrierte Web-Frontend lässt sich der angezeigte Coin bequem wechseln. Ob Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin oder USDT – du entscheidest, was dir angezeigt wird, ohne extra eine App zu öffnen oder eine Website zu besuchen. - Auswahl der Kryptowährung - Einstellung der Hintergrundbeleuchtung des Displays - Einstellung der Zeitzone (Sommerzeit +2h, Winterzeit +1h) - WiFi Konfiguration Kurz gesagt: Ein stylisches, funktionales Gadget für alle, die den Krypto-Kurs immer im Blick haben wollen – ganz ohne Schnickschnack. Was noch verbessert werden könnte So cool der CryptoTracker auch ist – ein paar Dinge haben mich im Alltag dann doch gestört. Gerade weil das Gerät für den Dauerbetrieb gedacht ist, fallen diese Punkte umso mehr ins Gewicht: - Kein Speichern der WLAN-Zugangsdaten:Wird der Strom getrennt, verliert der CryptoTracker nach einer gewissen Zeit die WLAN-Zugangsdaten. Das bedeutet: Beim nächsten Einschalten muss man die Einrichtung erneut durchführen – ein klarer Minuspunkt für den Einsatz als dauerhaftes Display. - Keine automatische Rotation verschiedener Coins:Zwar lässt sich die angezeigte Kryptowährung im Web-Interface bequem ändern, jedoch gibt es keine Funktion, um mehrere Coins automatisch im Wechsel anzuzeigen. Eine einfache Rotationsanzeige (z. B. alle 30 Sekunden ein anderer Kurs) wäre ein sinnvolles Feature für Multi-Coin-Fans. - Fixes Datumsformat:Das Datum wird immer im amerikanischen Format angezeigt, leider lässt sich das weder auf europäisches Format umstellen noch im 24h-Zeitformat anzeigen.
