THE DEMON OF MY DARK-SIDE

Back to my assumed reality and into the great myth of my dark side.

Will I reach where I long to be, or just fall back feeding my false pride?

 What’s the truth?  Is it just me from what I am?

Or the demon that drives me, from inside my mind?

Or is it just another excuse for not being able to be kind?

Or is it that demon himself who’s turning you and me blind?

This Demon inside feeds on fear, anger, jealousy and greed,

Boosting that false ego in me, he turns me into another member of his creed.

The creed that knows only being selfish and they are a disgusting breed indeed.

Seek POWER is the motto, not knowing the meaning of true power,

Just like a blind man looking for light at night, in a dark haunted tower.

Sinning all the way, every moment to accomplish what he had imagined,

He seeks, sins and gains what he imagined, but again it’s me who is brutally ruined.

While I pick those pieces of my ruins up, he slyly hides there in a corner,

Grinning wickedly, he watches my mayhem caused due to his chaotic disaster.

I can’t seem to pick up all the pieces, shattered pieces of me,

As I am about to pick the last of the pieces, he gets on a tempting spree.

The temptation so enchanting, it leads me to sin and redefine a “weaker me”.

The weaker I get, the stronger my faith gets.

Not sure if I am creating debts or paying back my debts.
