Fuck the dmdp fandom is dead and I dont see NO ONE talking (bc its dead so no one is talking period) about how Civil is so terrifying as a villian because he can't be reasoned with and is so powerful, just straight up learning magic over the course of a fight??? And the disregard for others lives too, I was so terrified until corpse god started pulling out bigger guns.

But like at the same time I feel this empathy for him?? Like. Holy fuck who didnt as a kid wish they could live in the fantasy world they read about? Now fucking imagine youre told you actually ARE from that fantastical place but youre stuck in this boring world. And also the whole being abandoned by the one who created you and compared to them as well it just, ughhh. I need to read the manga so I have more details

I think its so telling in regards to Katashiro’s personality that he’s much more upset about Higuro not giving Trix and Teven proper names but numbers instead— rather than the fact that he has to fight honest to god werewolves

Obviously he’s still annoyed with the whole monster fighting thing and the child experiments but he’s more upset that these two kids have no proper names
