question about the hpi wiki, ik u have no involvement i just want your opinion on this, if you're willing:

would it still be okay to use as a source for certain terms? i'm still a little iffy on the acronym of it but it's the only place i can find archives for terms like multiself. not uploading new terms, just the existing pages.

We personally have a lot of problems with the core concept of the HPI wiki and one of our alters is planning to write an essay about it.

TL;DR on that, because we have no clue when that essay will be done, is that we think the concept of harmful identities and harmless identities is deeply flawed and leads to the idea that people themselves can be inherently harmful or harmless based on their identity, and *this* idea leads to people getting hurt (because they and who they are is deemed inherently harmful) and harm not being acknowledged or properly dealt with (because someone causing harm and/or their identity has been deemed inherently harmless).

With that said, yes, you may use us as a source. I highly, highly recommend putting whatever page/post it is that you want to source on archive.ph first, and then sourcing that archived page, as this will be better for the longevity of your source.

Okay, I’m going to try to explain what happened last night.

Basically, the entity formerly known as “Maw” has split into two entities: Nepeta and Ame, representing hunt’s two sources.

Since I’m still here, I think the Heartbound subsys is still intact, but Ame has something going on that blurs the lines between having her own sisasystem and not. It’s kinda like a multiself, if you have heard of that.

Also, weird fact from when the split happened: & had basically no hearing of inside headspace, with a error message popping up(which, when all of this was happening, & referred to as Narrator-san) saying something like “The program* known as Maw is not responding”

*Program is likely a reference to how Maw is basically a shimeji in the fronting computer. I think.

Tl;dr: the former concept of “Maw” is now 2. Not much else is different, though.
