BHAVIboi

havi es un cantante de trap nacido como Indra Bhalavan en Bélgica, el 22 de octubre de 1997, y radicado en Argentina. En 2017 comenzó a grabar y al poco tiempo se conectó con Mueva Records, la productora con la cual trabaja. 

En 2018 volvió a Bélgica a probar suerte, donde comenzó una gira con Coely y Dvtch Norris, presentándose en distintos festivales. Lanzó varios singles junto a otros artistas reconocidos: “Mojaa”, el 30 de enero, junto a Duki; el hit “Piso” junto a Ecko, editado el 25 de abril; y el 14 de mayo “Bésame”, con Seven Kayne. Al día siguiente sale “Basta”. El 13 de julio se estrena “Visa” y el 29 del mismo mes sale “Déjeme Ser”. Continúan los estrenos y el 16 de agosto se escucha “Ven A Mí”. El 30 de septiembre llega el single “Te Necesito”.

En 2019 lanza los  sencillos "Otra Igual",  "Me Preguntaba" y  “Dame Más”, el 5 de enero, producido por Halpe y Omar Varela. El día 24 se estrena “No Lo Entiendo”, junto a Khea. El 8 de febrero graba “BZRP Music Sessions #1”, con Halpe y Bizarrap. En marzo participa del Festival Lollapalooza en Argentina. El 20 de abril presenta “Glitter”, grabado junto a Paco Amoroso y Halpe. El 21 de octubre, Bhavi estrena el video y sencillo "Fresko" en colaboración con Trueno. 

El 27 de marzo de 2020, lanza junto a John C el video y la canción "Gira".  También participa de "C90 (Remix)". El 15 de abril, anticipando lo que será su nuevo EP, Bhavi presenta el single "Super Sumo". En mayo de 2020 lanza un EP llamado "Butaka" que contiene cuatro canciones.  El 13 de agosto lanza "Butaka Remix” con la colaboración de Aleman, Big Soto, Akapellah y Neo Pistea. El 15 de diciembre, presenta “Espejismos”, con la especial colaboración de Cazzu.

El 8 de enero del 2021 Bhavi reúne a las leyendas del trap Neo Pistea e YSY A para hacer "Ya No Saben".  El 22 de enero se une junto a Khea para hacer el video y el sencillo “¿Qué Pasó?” El 26 de marzo lanza su presenta su primer álbum de estudio titulado "Cinema", un disco conceptual que reúne a grandes figuras internacionales.

El 13 de enero de 2022 lanza el single y videoclip "Ayer" junto a Lit Killah. El 23 de febrero lanza el single "Bien". El 23 de marzo lanza el single y videoclip de "Dios y la Muerte" junto a Santa Fe Klan. El 22 de abril lanza el single y videoclip de "Sienta bien" en colaboración con Laylow. El 26 de mayo lanza el single y videoclip "Puff" junto a Bizarrap. El 14 de junio lanza "Pochoclos", el tercer álbum de la trilogía de películas.  El 11 de agosto lanza el single y videoclip "Bhavi / Mission 9".  El 1 de septiembre adelanta junto a YSY A (Tu dúo favorito) el single "Mi ciudad", con la participación de Tiago PZK.

El 6 de septiembre YSY A y Bhavi presentan "Tu dúo favorito", material discográfico entre ambos artistas.

Creo que hay algo que se ha jodido o se ha roto. “Yo solo quedo con Nerds” esa frase me parece la más absoluta mierda posible, honestamente me da un poco de malas vibes el entorno que tiene y como lo ha conseguido. El baloncesto es lo único que me hace ilu pero no se si es el shock cultural o lo que pueda ser pero me da muchas malas vibes, si un hombre cuenta sus mierdas y dice las cosas como las ve, se le suele menospreciar y cosas así, pero cuando es una mujer todo el mundo debe parar y está todo perfecto. No se yo si es por que estamos en otra fase o por qué las cosas han cambiado pero no me está gustando nada nada como están yendo las cosas, no se si es el punto muerto en el que estamos pero ahora las cosas están en un vibe y un ambiente que no me gusta nada, chupipandi vibes y con un shock cultural de ser muy gilipollas que no me gusta nada. Y bastante love booming, bastante bastante love booming, y eso no me está gustando nada, pero absolutamente nada. Ese preguntar y querer hacerlo todo no me gusta nada, ese querer caer bien y hacer las cosas así no es mi estilo ni mucho menos. Le tendré que dar una vuelta pero tener unos días para mi es algo que voy a agradecer. Honestamente dudo mucho que me quiera de verdad, y no sea solo narcisismo y que le guste como le hago sentir, tengo tan pocas dudas al respecto. Es que conforme le doy más vueltas, peores vibes tengo y más ansiedad y mierdas. Honestamente solo tengo ganas de entrenar y mandarme a dormir, estar en esta relación no me está haciendo sentir bien y no me está gustando nada de nada, pero absolutamente nada de nada. Solo ansiedad y dramas, exclusivamente ansiedad y dramas.

Y muy muy importante que tenga mi dinero y mi libertad allí, me parece el punto más básico de mi vida, que tengo el dinero y la posibilidad de irme a hacer todas las cosas que yo quiero. Tengo muchas dudas respecto a que ella sea la persona que tengo en mi vida, y no quiero perderme por estar solo, por tener miedo a estar solo y que no encuentre nunca a la persona correcta, o la persona que encuentre no valga la pena. Creo que soy bueno encontrando gente pero me encantaría ver cómo hago las cosas.

Vanuit mijn interesse voor rap vond ik dit artikel heel interessant. Het gaat namelijk over the golden age of hiphop versus de nieuwe hiphop of the new era. Omdat de (hiphop) muziek industrie radicaal veranderd is sinds de jaren 80 en 90 wordt dit door de liefhebbers gezien als een controversiële topic. De nieuwe fans en generatie van rap ziet de muziek helemaal anders dan de “echte” rappers en zo ontstaan er conflicten tussen de generaties. Maar wie van de twee heeft eigenlijk gelijk? Wie zijn de echte rappers? Wel, ze zijn het allebij en met behulp van het artikel zal ik mijn mening formuleren.

Invloed

Rap is een brede genre, met muzikanten en fans die bestaan uit verschillende religie’s, geslachten, geboorteplaatsen en natuurlijk ook levens. Iedereen heeft verschillende ervaringen in het leven en iedereen heeft een andere visie op wat leven is. Ik weet het, dit is misschien een beetje ver gezocht als je rappers hebt die zo goed als 30 keer dezelfde woord herhalen in een liedje van 2 minuten, maar die visie op wat leven is stralen de rappers uit in hun muziek. Het is een kwestie van waarmee die rapper op dat moment mee bezig is/ wat die rapper denkt. Zoals de Antwerpse rapper Dvtch Norris zei:  “ hiphop spreekt nog steeds een brede groep mensen aan, alleen op een andere manier. Vroeger kwam de relevantie uit de teksten, vandaag moet je ze zoeken bij de ritmes, de flows en de cultuur rond de muziek. Kijk, als ik hiphop met een boodschap zoek, dan ga ik naar J.Cole, Joey Badass of Mick Jenkins. Maar soms wil ik simpelweg ritme en een goeie cadans. Die zoek ik dan elders”. Muziek gaat niet altijd over een diepere betekenis, een mens wilt ook fun hebben zonder na te denken. Zo heb je bijvoorbeeld de actuele topartist Lil Pump die rapt over zijn hoeveelheid geld op een zeer jonge leeftijd en zijn drugsgebruik. Dit heeft natuurlijk zijn nadelen. Omdat hij zo jong begon, influenceert hij de even jonge generatie die op zijn weg wilt stappen. En omdat drugs zo een open topic is in liedjes en minder een taboe is als 20 jaar geleden, vindt de nieuwe generatie het ‘normaler’ om drugs te nemen en misbruiken. “Doe maar mee want Lil Pump doet het ook, en kijk hoe ver hij nu staat.” Als je een beetje moeite doet en meer informatie zoekt over hem en ziet waarvoor hij staat, wilt hij totaal NIET dat mensen zoals hem worden en drugs gebruiken. 

Lyrics

Wat lyrics betreft, bestonden er sinds het begin van rap liedjes met alleen maar zinloze scheldwoorden en geen diepere boodschap. Maar zo heb je ook masterpieces die voor altijd herrinnert zullen worden. Ik neem het voorbeeld van 2PAC - HAIL MARY  en LIL PEEP - RUNAWAY. Beide liedjes gaan over hoe negatief de wereld rondom de 2 artiesten is en ze pakken dit aan op een verschillende manier: 2pac bid tot god en maakt bijbelse verwijzingen en Lil Peep loopt weg van zijn hometown met hoop dat de wereld beter en minder ‘fake’ gaat zijn daar. Alles verschilt. De manier waarop ze het vertellen, de beat, de lyrics, de persona die zij uitbeelden... Toch zijn de 2 liejdes gelijkaardig. Sommige mensen zijn meer aangetrokken tot 2pac zijn ‘agressievere’ manier of de zwaarmoedigheid van Lil Peep.

Conclusie

Rap sterft niet, maar de tijden veranderen wel. Het concept van rap zal nooit sterven, het wordt alleen op andere manieren verteld, wat trouwens goed is. Als rap hetzelfde bleef voor 30 jaar, dan zou het pas uitsterven door de monotonische toon en flows die copycats zijn van de eerste generatie van hiphop. Nu hebben wij artiesten met originaliteit en een eigen perspectief en we moeten daarvoor dankbaar zijn. Rap zou niet bestaan zonder de eerste rappers, maar dat betekent niet dat rap niet radicaal kan veranderen.
