Chapter 1

San Francisco, CA

July 21, 1967

3:08pm

It was a summer of change and upheaval and Agent Mulder stood on the corner of Haight and Ashbury. The hilly San Francisco district had become the center of the counterculture movement, with musicians and artists lining the streets just outside their apartments. The 1950s Beat generation had sought out the quaint and cheap housing of the underpopulated district, and by the 1960s, the anti-establishment movement had grown and morphed with the rise of the Vietnam War.

Mulder stood in awe of the color that surrounded him. Reds and yellows, greens and blues swirled like a life-sized tie-dye shirt. It was a stark contrast to the shades of grey and black that roamed the streets of Washington D.C. Life was teeming, and everyone seemed friendly, or at the very least accepting, of everyone else.

As Mulder admired a young woman skating by on roller skates, her long brown hair blowing behind her, his thoughts were interrupted.

“What are we doing here, Agent Mulder?” Agent Doggett’s gruff voice came from beside him.

Doggett’s patience was wearing thin and they’d only just arrived in the Golden City. He knew damn well they were searching for a murderer.

Mulder had gone to their subterranean office Monday morning, wound up with too much caffeine and not enough food in his stomach. He’d been up half the night studying their potential new case: a man who liked to abduct women and hack them up. Not all the victims’ body parts were found, but Mulder had noticed a clear pattern surrounding the killings, a possible motive that transcended purely killing for pleasure. There was premeditation, and Mulder was certain that all the killings were connected to a single killer.

“Staking out the place,” Mulder replied, his eyes searching up and down the sidewalk for a potential starting place. All the bodies had been found in the Haight-Ashbury District, likely by someone familiar with the area.

“The entire neighborhood?”

“Fine,” Mulder relented, “we’ll get a feel for the area. Let’s see what connections we can make. You never know where one person might lead us.”

The sun beat down on the suit-clad agents and Doggett took a long sip of his coffee, turning his head to a mob of people crossing the street together. “We stick out like a sore thumb.”

Doggett had reluctantly agreed to fly out west with Mulder to investigate the mass murders - four women so far - and hopefully apprehend the sick bastard leaving dead hippies carefully posed near dumpsters and in back alleys. Mulder was grateful for the help and the backup.

“It’s all happening here,” Mulder had insisted, arms spread, gesturing to the cityscape before them. “Every single one of those bodies was left within a quarter mile radius on this cross street. He lives here. He picks these women at rallies or in bars, courts them, earns their trust, and then takes them back to his house to seduce and then kill them. Of that, I am certain.”

“And we’re sure they weren’t raped?” Doggett asked.

Shaking his head, Mulder replied, “There is no indication of rape from the evidence. The women had sex willingly. It’s only after the seduction and intercourse that the women were murdered.”

“Alright, Mulder,” Doggett said, “but the one thing I don’t understand is why these women are all dolled up. Too much makeup for the so-called hippies.”

“I’m not sure why yet. Something in the way this sicko operates, playing out fantasies maybe.”

“I sure hope you’re right about this, Mulder.”

“Me too,” Mulder replied, a stone sitting heavy in his gut at the thought of all the cut-up bodies.

Mulder had presented the senior agent with plane tickets and that is how they had ended up in San Francisco chasing down a murderer at the height of the Summer of Love.

Both men hoped Mulder’s hunch would lead them to their suspect and not on some wild hippie chase.

“There.” Mulder said, pointing in the direction where a large group of people, mostly hippies, were making their way to a gathering. Cheers erupted as a guitar strummed. “Looks like we found ourselves at a peace rally.”

Doggett acknowledged this with a curt nod and the two men made their way across the street, weaving their way around people, to the very center of the crowd. A shirtless man with stringy hair played guitar, singing about peace, love, and acceptance.

The song ended and the man tucked a long strand of hair behind his ear.

“Let’s all have a moment of silence for our fallen heroes,” he said, bowing his head.

“This is so damn touching,” Doggett sarcastically muttered to Mulder, who could not suppress a grimace. These young kids had lost fathers and brothers, and even sisters, to the war. But Doggett was not wrong. Optimistic crowds could sing about peace, but little would improve without extreme policy change. The United States was too invested in the war, had too much at stake.

The crowd collectively bowed their heads and closed their eyes. Some placed their hands over their hearts; a quiet fell upon the street.

“Do you see any possible suspicious people?” Mulder whispered.

He and Doggett took the opportunity to scan up and down the street. People had gathered not just along the sidewalk, but spilled into the street, blocking the road. No one seemed to mind, though, and the peace rally continued to grow in size.

Through the sea of bent heads, a woman caught Mulder’s eye. She was rather small - he would not have noticed her had it not been for the bent heads  - with a halo of red hair among the brown and blonde. But that wasn’t what stood out to him. Those blue eyes, clear as a summer’s day, were not closed in a silent prayer but looking right at him. She ducked her head when she noticed him.

“Thank you,” the singer broke through the silence.“That was truly groovy. I felt all of your love coursing through me. I’m sure that our fallen brothers felt it too.”

“Let’s get the hell outta here,” Doggett said. “We’re not gonna find him now. We’re looking for a hippie in a haystack.”

The crowd swayed in unison as music resumed playing, and the two agents, frustrated that their suspect didn’t jump up and present himself, pushed their way through the masses. As they neared the end of the mess of people, an older, long-haired, scraggly man grabbed Mulder’s arm.

“The end is nigh! You have to believe!” he yelled in the agent’s face.

“I want to believe,” Mulder returned, not unkindly, while attempting to pull his arm away. The man was clearly down on his luck.

But the vagrant pulled Mulder in closer. He smelled of booze and body odor.

“NO!” he howled. “Trust no one!” Then turning to the crowd, he yelled, “Look at this one! He’s one of them! He’s the Man!”

The two agents felt the eyes of all the crowd turn and stare at them as they were singled out. Some booed and hissed at them.

But from the throng came a voice over the microphone announcing, “Friends! Brothers and sisters! ALL are welcome.” People whooped and hollered back, others clapped at the call for acceptance.

Mulder tried harder to extricate himself. The bearded man had surprising strength and put up quite a fight, resulting in a tug of war with Mulder’s arm. Eventually, Doggett came to the rescue, gripping the assailant’s fingers and prying them off of his partner’s arm. Backward inertia from the opposing pulls forced Mulder to suddenly fall onto some of the rally attendees.

High-pitched screams came from beneath him. Mulder struggled awkwardly as he realized at least a couple of women had broken his fall. He winced as his head collided with something and very suddenly realized that Doggett’s firm grip pulled him to his feet. He immediately turned to offer his sincerest apologies. They had not intended to call attention to themselves so publicly.

As Mulder brushed himself off, he recognized the face of one of the women - the redhead with the piercing eyes. They were even more magnificent up close and he momentarily lost the ability to form words at his surprise, instead offering his hand, which she accepted.

Meanwhile, Doggett had offered the two other women - a tall brunette with a sharp face, and a lovely redhead with long wavy hair and kind eyes - his help, ensuring everyone’s safety and well being.

“Our apologies, everyone,” offered Doggett. “My friend here has a knack for getting himself into trouble. I hope nobody is hurt.”

“Yes, sorry,” Mulder chimed in, remembering his manners, his eyes glued to the smaller of the redheads.

She held out her hand to him and gave him a genuinely warm smile. “I’m Dana Scully.”

On how I create my content and my future plans/ideas :)

I’ve written about this before, but that was way back in generation one (and almost 2 years ago). Now that we’re in the midst of moving from generation 3 into generation 4, I thought it would be a nice moment to write again about how I work and also about other plans and ideas I have for future saves/content. :) It’s a long post, so I hid the majority of it behind the cut:

Basically my content is gameplay driven and not story driven: I just play the game and use the ‘C‘ button a lot (screenshotting, yay!). After I’ve stopped playing, I check what has happened in the world outside the household (using the MCCC log file to see who got married with whom, which babies have been born etc.) and via manage worlds I jump into CAS to make screenshots (and change hairstyles and clothing if really needed) from Sims that have recently aged up or got married to a Sim in the family tree. Depending on time and energy I have, I may do this right after I stopped playing the save, or before or at the start of my next session of gameplay (this especially applies to the screenshotting in CAS). Checking the log files I may also do in free time in-between. Next step is sifting through all the screenshots, delete the ones that are a bit faulty (walls down, the ‘mouse over’ white line around objects, etc), non-relevant or if there are too many similar shots already. The remaining screenshots are resized (in a batch resize action) and then it’s time to select them in groups of three and put those groups in a Word document. Screenshots I can’t use at this point end up in an outtakes folder. In the Word document I look at the screenshots and try to describe what has happened, sometimes also adding things of my own to sauce it up a bit.

When I’m playing with the Abbott household in game, I play with a mix of sims acting on their own (I have autonomy on full) and being directed to do something (like homework, gardening, etc.) by me. I like to have the Sims being able to act on their own needs and sometimes just do what they like at the moment (especially when I’m not controlling or watching/following them). Micromanaging every act and need of the household is just not my kind of thing.

My focus with this family is playing the Get to Work careers from the start (level 1 or 3 depending on how well high school ended) and reach level 10. I started with Kendall as a cop in generation 1. Generation 2 was about Kendall’s daughter Dana, who was a doctor (and a serial romantic). And just now generation 3 with Daniela as scientist has ended. The next generation will be Theo with whom I’ll explore the retail option (and the baking skill).

Note about settings: currently I play with seasons on long, lifespan on normal, and I have temperature effects, gaining fame and neighborhood action plans (I just got Eco Lifestyle in the end of year sale :)) turned off in this save. I play with MCCC and Show Sim Info as mods. MCCC mostly for some kind of story progression in the background (marrying non-played sims and generating their offspring). I also manually remove the plumbob from the game to keep it out of my screenshots. I do this by tweaking the default.ini, via https://simsvip.com/2014/09/21/the-sims-4-how-to-remove-plumbob/ (one downside: after every game-update you have to edit default.ini again). I try to keep the use of cheats at a minimum (mostly filling my sims’ motives via the cheat needs option), but I keep open the option of using Youth Potions (but not more than once per sim), and turning aging off (temporarily of course) is also a trick that I keep up my sleeve. ;)

Do I have any future plans for after Theo’s generation has ended? Well, maybe I’ll add two more generations for restaurants and the acting career, but if I’ll play those soon depends on how buggy both the restaurants and the acting career (still) are. I may choose switch to other saves first instead, and I have several minor and major ideas planned or even set up in a new save already. One of my ideas is to (re)do a seven toddler challenge, and this one is actually suited quite well to do as a short play in between longer saves. And speaking of longer saves, I have already an idea ready: playing a 6 generation family in San Myshuno, with as main goal to play all the City Living careers (from start to level 10 – just like the GTW careers with the Abbotts). Furthermore, I also want to dive into the discover university gameplay, but haven’t thought out with which Sims I’ll go to university (the Roomies are top candidates though). And there is another small challenge I want to do for fun: the blending friends challenge for which I have a household of 8 ‘official’ (Maxis) Sims I downloaded from the gallery.

So, I have several ideas (and I have written down a few more for myself), but it’s not set in stone that I’ll post about all of them here on this tumblr. I think I’ll do a short (max one generation) play after I’ve finished Theo’s generation, just as a break in between longer generational stories. Whether that short play will be the seven toddler challenge, the Roomies at university or the blending friends challenge remains to be seen. :)

Discover Restaurants, stunning coffeehouse, and all the popular shops you can discover in the greatest shopping centers.

Likewise, this outside shopping center has locations that invite fantastic artists, such as Fleetwood Mac.

The Heisler Park

This lovely location offers more than the average park, as not all green areas have a spectacular view to the ocean, artsy park benches, sculptures, rocky shores, and tide swimming pools; Heisler Park offers this and more.

The Heisler Park can be found at Laguna Beach, just a few miles away from Laguna Hills, and is a park that acts as an affiliation between Picnic Beach and Rockpile Beach, which are located on either side of Monolith Point at the center of the park.

All these excellent functions, you can also consume at Las Brisas, a seafood restaurant settled there that serves breakfast, lunch & supper daily, as well as Sunday brunch. You just need to go to the south end of Heisler Park to find it.

The Pretend City Children's Museum

The Pretend City Children's Museum houses a rich environment for children so they can learn about math, gain science skills, and even do some role-playing in various activities, all this through a solid curriculum. Nellie Gail Ranch

Nellie Gail Ranch is a neighborhood located in Laguna Hills that provides homeowners terrific activities to spend with the family. Neil Gail Ranch has 1,350 acres with five parks-- to delight in a calm afternoon-- and also an open space of over 5,000 trees. Main parks have kids's play areas, a basketball court, fitness tracks, picnic tables, and even equestrian arenas.

However that's not it, Nellie Gail Ranch uses one of the most active domestic way of lives in all of Southern California, an unique sanctuary that contains fantastic parks, equestrian centers, and fantastic tracks all over the neighborhood.

As if the charm of the area wasn't enough, this ranch also has a tennis club where you can demonstrate your abilities in this sport. The tennis facilities and services consist of 12 lighted tough courts, 5 full-time tennis experts, private lessons, a clubhouse, and shower centers.

Writing Your Story: Chap. 8 - Raelyn Taylor Nichols

Summary: Raelyn tells Sam, Dean and Castiel all about the house she grew up in and tells them why the demon specifically wants her. Characters: Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Castiel and Raelyn Nichols (OFC) Pairing: Dean X Raelyn (OFC) Warnings: Fluff/Angst, Verbal Abusive, Protective/Sensitive Dean (Yes I think that needs to be a warning. All The Feels!)  Word Count: 3048 A/N: This chapter is personal to me. A lot of the verbal abuse Raelyn goes through in this chapter is directly from my own childhood. Some of the comments made towards Raelyn are direct quotes from my father when I was a kid. I feel sharing my experiences is the best form of therapy. As always this is unbeta so all mistakes are mine. Likes, comments and reblogs are humbling and I will love you especially for them! Enjoy!

Raelyn spent the next week in the bunker hardly leaving her room. She was barely sleeping or eating. Sam and Dean would check in on her asking if she wanted to help them research or go out on a supply run. She always declined with the best smile she could muster up. Most nights when Raelyn would fall asleep she always saw Raymond’s face and she would wake screaming. Dean would rush in from his room, now leaving their doors open all the time. He would lay next to her until she calmed down and then she would tell him that he could leave that she was fine. Two weeks after she was taken, Raelyn was passing by the library and overheard Sam and Dean talking about her.

“I can’t take it anymore, Sam. I’m going to go in there and drag her out and drive her far away.” Dean’s frustrated voice broke her heart. “Dean, that’s not the way to get through to her. You need to be patient with her and let her cope in her own time. She will come to us when she is ready.” Her and Sam had many conversations about their own experiences with depression and if anyone knew how she was feeling it was him. “I just feel like there is something else going on with her. More so than getting kidnap by a hybrid monster.” Raelyn took a few steps closer and peeked around the corner. Sam and Dean were sitting at one of the large wooden tables. Their backs were to her and Raelyn watched as Dean ran his hand through his hair. “What do you mean Dean?” Sam turned slightly to face him and Raelyn ducked back into her hiding place. “I don’t know how to explain it. I just know there is something more going on within Raelyn than she is telling anyone. I think Cas knows what it is but she doesn’t want him to tell us. Damn it! I don’t like being left out of the loop and sounding like some dramatic hormonal teenager!” He slammed his fist onto the table causing Raelyn to jump slightly. She decided she had heard enough and walked back to her room.

The next morning, she found the brothers in the kitchen eating breakfast. They had not noticed her in the doorway. “Good morning boys.” She said startling them both. She quietly chuckled as she sat down next to Dean who was eating a bowl of Frosted Flakes. “Well good morning, Missy Miss.” He said to her with his mouth full. Sam handed her a banana and a cup of yogurt, “Nice to see you up and about, Raelyn.” She nodded taking a few bites of her breakfast. “I want to thank you both for not pushing me to talk or anything. I know I haven’t been very social and frankly a pain in the ass. I appreciate you both letting me deal with everything in my own time, so thanks.” Sam gave Dean a knowing look and he snarled his nose up at him. “That being said, as long as you guys don’t have a case, I would like to travel somewhere with you both. There are some things I need to explain and I want to show you a place that is the center point of it all for me. I already called Cas and he will meet is where we are going.” Dean placed his hand on top of hers giving it a gently squeeze. “Anything you need us to do then we are there. When do you want to leave?” Raelyn could feel tears coming up threatening to fall. She truly was appreciative of Sam and Dean being understanding of her and she felt guilty for not telling them the complete truth. “How about in an hour. We are going to St. Louis where I grew up.” Saying it out loud caused nerves in Raelyn’s stomach to start churning.

The three of them drove the eight hours from the bunker to Raelyn’s hometown of Mehlville, Missouri. It was a quiet picture-perfect neighborhood. Raelyn directed them down a windy road to a long drive with a for sale sign up. Dean parked the Impala in front of the three-car garage and the boys looked up gawking at the gorgeous two-story house. They all got out of the car walking up the walkway meeting Castiel on the porch. “Raelyn, you grew up here?” Dean asked astonished as she nodded at him. “Can one of you get us inside?” Sam and Dean looked down at her amused as Dean took out his lock pick kit and opened the front door. Once inside Raelyn looked around room from room memories of her childhood running through her mind. Watching Sam, Dean and Castiel look around was amusing for her as they commented on how amazing the house was. She knew that would be their reaction knowing how they grew up and it was important that they felt that awestruck feeling before she began telling them her story.

Raelyn led them upstairs and into a large bedroom off to the left. There were two large windows facing the backyard. “This was my bedroom.” Raelyn stated flatly. Sam looked out the windows and noticed something odd about them. “Raelyn, these windows don’t open?” She shook her head, “No, they don’t. They are sealed shut so I could never sneak out.” Sam’s expression was hard to read between sad and bewildered. “I wanted you all to see this home, see this town because the way you’re seeing now is how everyone saw it. The perfect little town, perfect little kids, perfect family with the perfect house. I’m going to tell you about what happened behind all the perfection but I needed you to see what everyone else saw before you saw it through my eyes.” Raelyn sat on the floor and the boys all followed doing the same.

“Jeremy and Dana Nichols adopted me when I was a few weeks old. All I knew of my birth mother was that she did not want me and I was never to ask about her. My early childhood was normal and great. I played with the kids on my street, rode my bike down to my best friend’s house and was always home when the street light came on.” Sam and Dean share a sad look between them and she knew it was hard for them to hear about someone having a normal childhood. “When I was ten years old, I began puberty and my dad didn’t quite know how to deal with losing his little girl. I was wanting to spend more time with my mom and friends than with him. He grew jealous and would lash out at me.” The memory of the first time overwhelmed Raelyn.

She could not hear him stomping up the stairs since she was listening to her brand-new Backstreet Boys cd. Their music was the only thing that kept her sane lately. “RAELYN TAYLOR NICHOLS!” Her dad screamed as he plowed through the door. She ripped off her headphones quickly and sat quietly looking down at her hands. “Are you going to sit up here all day, young lady? There are chores that need to be done and your sitting your lazy butt in your room. If you don’t ever move then you’ll always be a pig like you are right now. Now GO!” he yelled at her as she quickly got up walking downstairs. Her dad watched as she mowed the grass in the front and back yards. She pulled all the weeds growing around the house. She only came inside when she had cut a chunk out of her finger and was bleeding. “You should be more careful, Raelyn. You’re not dumb so work smarter not harder.” Once she was done and her mom was home she was able to retreat back to her room, but not before over hearing her parents talking. “Raelyn needs to get her act in order. She has changed a lot over this last year and her grades are slipping. I won’t have a stupid, stubborn, slob of a daughter in this house. That is not what I signed up for when we adopted her.”

“My dad was tough on me to get good grades and to look my best always. As I got older, he became stricter on me.” Raelyn paused to push back to the emotions starting to bubble up. “When I was fifteen I was diagnosed with depression and my dad saw that as a weakness or a flaw. He didn’t understand that chemically my brain wasn’t functioning correctly like normal people. Since I wasn’t living up to his perfect ideal daughter he took it out on me verbally. I had kids in my therapy group tell me how easy I had it with my dad only verbally abusing me and I would get angry with them. Eventually, their bruises would go away and they would not have to see the evidence of their abuse. I’m not saying the physical abuse is better than any other abuse because it’s not. The words my dad would said to me or call me are seared into my mind and I hear them every day.” Dean scooted closer to her and started rubbing her back as tears silently fell down her cheeks.

Raelyn nervously walked into her house after group therapy. Her therapist suggested writing her dad a letter letting him know how she felt when he would call her names. Being thirteen and standing up to her dad was intimidating. As soon as she was seated on the couch she heard her him storming through the house. “How dare you! You, ungrateful pig! How dare you write me a letter telling me how I treat you is upsetting you. How dare you blame your sickness and weakness on me! If you were a better child then you wouldn’t have this issue. Don’t put your flaws on me because if you would just be the way I want you then you would be perfect! But, you’re not! You’re a fat, lazy, spoiled-rotten, worthless piece of trash! I wish I could just take you back to the adoption agency and get a new daughter because your broken and useless!” Raelyn sat there taking her verbal lashing silently. She did not speak a word or shed a tear. Once her dad had left the house to cool off her mom turned to her and said, “What did you expect to happen, Raelyn? You shouldn’t have done that.”

“I vowed after that day that I would never speak of my feelings again.” She looked from each of the three men sitting with her and they all had different emotions on their faces. Castiel looked sympathetic almost like an adorable cat who knew she was upset. Sam had tears running down his face knowing what it was like to have a dad who was always disappointed. It was Dean’s face that shocked her the most though. Dean’s cheeks were red and his knuckles were white from him clenching his fist tightly. He was gritting his teeth and breathing heavily. He was angry and she could not figure out why. She suddenly felt like she was back in the moment seeing her dad’s face red with anger and she began to tremble slightly. “Dean, calm down. You’re scaring her.” Sam said softly as Dean looked over to her seeing her hands trembling. “Please, don’t be mad…” Raelyn’s voice was small like a child’s. “I know I had a better upbringing than most and I am grateful for all they provided me.” She rambled out before he pulled her next to him wrapping his arms around her. “Sweetheart, I would never be mad at you for what that bastard said to you. You are the opposite of everything he ever called you. Just in the last few months of knowing you we all feel that you are a bright light in a dark world and you probably fart rainbows too.” Raelyn started giggling through her tears as Sam and Castiel chuckled. Raelyn looked up at Dean and kissed his cheek gently. She loved the feeling of a few days scruff scratching her lips. “Thank you and no I don’t fart rainbows. Come on, I want to show you all my special spot.”

Raelyn lead them out of the house and through a clearing in the backyard. Behind Raelyn’s childhood home was a large cliff overlooking the Meramec River. “Whenever things would get bad at home I would sneak out here at night with my headphones and journal. I would write and write until my fingers were so cold they would hurt. Eventually, my dad thought I would sneak out to meet boys so he sealed my windows shut but I always was able to sneak out of the house to come here. This place was a reminder that one day I would get out of here and do whatever I wanted to do. This was my place of hope and inspiration.” She explained as they all looked out to the sun setting reflecting over the water. Dean put his arm around her waist and rested his head on top of hers and Sam grabbed her hand holding it gently. “This spot is beautiful just like you are.” Dean whispered bring a radiating smile to her face. They started to walk back to the Impala when Sam ask, “Raelyn, was there a particular reason for the trip down memory lane?” She nodded, “Let’s get to a motel and I will explain.” Castiel rode in the backseat with Raelyn as Dean drove to the nearest motel.

They all settled into the room and Raelyn sat down in front of the brothers. “The man who took me is The Hooded Man from my nightmares.” Sam and Dean looked at one another as if a light bulb had gone off. “That makes some sense, djinn put you in a dream state but how is he infiltrating your dreams?” Sam asked. “I’m not exactly sure but I think it has to do with the connection he has with me…” She trailed off for a moment as the brothers looked at her waiting. “The Hooded Man is my twin brother.” Sam and Dean’s shocked faces were almost funny if she was not also scared to death of their reactions. “I’m sorry, you’re what?” Dean asked as Sam let out the breath he had been holding. Castiel walked over standing beside Raelyn as she told Sam and Dean everything. “His name is Raymond Tyler Carter and he is my twin brother. Apparently, our mother was a drug addict who ended up sleeping with a man who was only half djinn making Raymond a quarter djinn. When our mother gave us up for adoption we were split up. He grew up in a horrible home where he resent everybody who made his life a living hell and that includes me. He is out for revenge which is why he is after me.” Raelyn went on to explain how he was also part demon and how the demon could take over whenever Raymond felt like giving up control.

Sam and Dean sat there stunned for a moment. “How does you being his twin connect with him being in your nightmares.” Castiel spoke up for the first time, “Twins are known for having a special connection or bond with one another. Since Raymond and Raelyn are supernatural twins then their bond may be greater than human twins.” Dean now stood up to pace nervously, “Does that make Raelyn part djinn as well?” He asked as Raelyn shook her head. “I don’t think I am. Raymond asked me if I had any powers because it seems whatever Chuck did to me in order for me to see your lives is affecting Raymond’s abilities to get into my dreams. Everything that happened at the Masquerade Gala, I dreamt about before it happened.” Sam snapped his head up to Dean, “You’re having visions?” Raelyn shrugged as Castiel nodded. “God gave her prophet like abilities but strictly focused on your lives. She can see what has happened and what could happen. At times, it can change depending on decisions made by the people involved.” Raelyn sighed, “That’s why when I was captured the scene played out differently.” Dean looked her silently asking the question he was thinking, “In my nightmare, I saw…” Thinking about it made her stomach roil, “I saw Raymond kill Dean in front of me. He said he was doing it for me because I ruined his life.” She sniffled trying to hold back her tears and Dean sat next to her on the bed. “It’s okay. I’m fine, remember?” She nodded.

Sam, Dean and Castiel started discussing a game plan to take care of Raymond. Even though, Raelyn knew he was a monster who needed to be taken care of a wave of guilt washed over her. She put her head in her hands as all her emotions were overwhelming her all at once. Telling them all about her past and then about Raymond was proving to be a little much for her. “We need to get back to the bunker to see if we can even kill this son of a bitch like we would a full demon or full djinn.” Dean turned around seeing Raelyn slouched over. Castiel placed a calming hand on her back and she sat up, “I’m okay. I promise, I’m okay. Just all of this is overwhelming and the thought of killing my twin brother is bothering me more than I thought it would.” Sam and Dean came to her side crouching down. “We know this will be tough for you and we will try to be as sympathetic as we can but Raelyn…” Sam stopped as she nodded, “I know. He’s a monster and he’s a danger to me and others.” Sam nodded, “Right now, we need information. We won’t do anything without discussing it with you first, okay?” Raelyn nodded standing up as the brothers stood. “Okay, let’s get back to the bunker and see what we can find.”
