Harry Price (1881-1948) was a British psychic and a paranormal researcher whose reputation reached extraordinary peaks because of his passion for unmasking fraud.
Already in his adolescence he was interested in the affairs of the beyond, and wrote a theatrical work on a case of Poltergeist in a Shropshire farm, England [see: the 8 phases of the polytergeist activity]. In a few years, the interest of public opinion attracted thanks to a very curious discovery, space telegraphy [Space-Telegraph], something like a primal wireless communication that theoretically worked perfectly, but when it was tried to put it into practice it was a failure. In his autobiography: Search for truth (Search for Truth), Harry Price states that the experiment was not entirely negative, since it served to prove that his idea did not work at all. Around 1908 he was interested in archeology, quite successful, since he managed to get several Roman currencies, axes and utensillos in the Sussex region, whose authenticity was confirmed by the antiquarium society [Society of Antiquaries]. But what really interested Harry Price were the paranormal phenomena, and there he directed his efforts since then.
For his arduous work as an unmasking of prodigies [who concealed his desire to find genuine wonders] he began his studies in occultism. In 1922 he joined the Magic Circle [Magic Circle], with a net esoteric cut, and then got fully into the study of traditional magic and prestidigitation. With these weapons he launched ghosts and fraudulent mediums.
He obtained his first success as a paranormal researcher at the end of 1922, when he was photographed by William Hope next to a spirit [see above]. The strange thing is not due to photography, but to the previous agreement between Harry Price and the Spirit, in which the latter promised to pose for the photo.
In 1923 Harry Price made a formal request to the University of London to create a psychic research department. The institution responded favorably, and Harry Price headed the working group [although without belonging to the Academic Staff], which would finally absorb the departments of the National Laboratory of Psychic Studies [National Laboratory of Psychical Research]. Harry Price, the famous ghost hunter, and Harry Houdini, skillful unmasking of fraudulent wonders, attests to spiritualist sessions where the diners had to make great physical efforts so as not to be evicted from their seats by the sudden movements of the speakers (see: when something invisible touches you)
William Hope, the Paranormal photographer, denounces that the speakers are animated by an invisible and undoubtedly intelligent force, with which it is possible to establish a communication code to talk with her (see: something called me by my name)
For example, a blow means yes and two strokes no (see: a blow: "Yes"; two blows: "no"; three blows: "Let me enter"). There were also random combinations that required the fine interpretation of exegetes that alluded to perfectly natural emissions and sound polyuses in a closed enclosure.
Daniel Dunglas Home, the great levitator of his time, witnessed paranormal phenomena of incredible size, such as the total levitation of the table and its diners. Others denounce light, phosphorescent appearances, invisible and lvid hands that pinch the ladies, wind bursts, objects that materialized and even the appearance of ectoplasm from different medium holes (see: what are the spirits made?)
Most of the charlatans of the time attribute these paranormal phenomena to the activity of triggered entities. A rationalist minority suspects the presence of unknown psychic, individual or group forces, acting in unison on the table (see: spirits and "charged environments"))
Already at the end of the 19th century there was a true fever around the speakers, which in honor of the truth did little justice in their name, since they rarely spoke.
The spiritualist Allan Kardec was perhaps the first to establish an orderly communication code, for which he managed to record messages of deep skepticism even in probably dead people. To know something more about this code we recommend reading his work The Book of Spirits (Le Liv re des Spiro).
There is no culture in the world that has been safe from the undesirable presence of the dead that rise from their graves to feed with the blood of the living. This allows us to reason that nigromance: the art of invoking the dead and returning them to life, or non -death, rather, was a rather lucrative trade.
In the first place, naturally, the body should be exhumed. He was later beheaded and one of his feet was amputated. Finally, the pi

Gladiator
Gladiator is a 2000 American-British epic historical drama film directed by Ridley Scott and written by David Franzoni, John Logan, and William Nicholson. The film was co-produced and released by DreamWorks Pictures and Universal Pictures. DreamWorks Pictures distributed the film in North America while Universal Pictures released it internationally through United International Pictures. It stars Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Ralf Möller, Oliver Reed (in his final role), Djimon Hounsou, Derek Jacobi, John Shrapnel, Richard Harris, and Tommy Flanagan. Crowe portrays Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius, who is betrayed when Commodus, the ambitious son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, murders his father and seizes the throne. Reduced to slavery, Maximus becomes a gladiator and rises through the ranks of the arena to avenge the murders of his family and his emperor.
Inspired by Daniel P. Mannix's 1958 book Those About to Die (formerly titled The Way of the Gladiator), the film's script, initially written by Franzoni, was acquired by DreamWorks and Ridley Scott signed on to direct the film. Principal photography began in January 1999, before the script was completed, and wrapped up in May of that year, with the scenes of Ancient Rome shot over a period of nineteen weeks in Fort Ricasoli, Malta. The film's computer-generated imagery effects were created by British post-production company The Mill, who also created a digital body double for the remaining scenes involving Reed's character Proximo due to Reed dying of a heart attack during production.
Gladiator premiered in Los Angeles on May 1, 2000, and was released theatrically in Australia on May 4, the United States on May 5 and in the United Kingdom on May 11. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for the acting (particularly Crowe's and Phoenix's performances), Scott's direction, visuals, screenplay, action sequences, musical score and the production values. It was a box office success, grossing $187.7 million in the United States and grossed $457 million worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing film of 2000. The film won multiple awards, including five at the 73rd Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Actor for Crowe, Best Costume Design, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. It also received four BAFTA Awards at the 54th British Academy Film Awards for Best Film, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design and Best Editing. Since its release, Gladiator has also been credited with reinventing the sword-and-sandal genre and rekindling interest in entertainment centered around the cultures of ancient Greece and Rome, such as the television series Rome.
In 2021, Scott officially announced that writing had begun on a sequel to the film, which would formally enter development after the completion of his Napoleon biopic Kitbag.

"There seems to be an undercurrent of primordial mythology coursing through my imagination. Built, perhaps, on iconography from Greek or Roman myths but, really, itâs a time travel that channels the muse from all corners of the universe. My penchant for nostalgia is actually building on the legacy of our combined human experiences. My hand and mind just need to be mindful of our past and sensitive to our whims, be they fear, pleasure, or mantra.â

in your defence, if you didnât know roman holiday the film is set in the 50s then itâs not like thereâs a load of description in the story that would flag it. like at one point they put on an ella fitzgerald record but daniel could just be a hipster with a passion for vinyl and film photography! heâs on a tech cleanse!!

TLDR: Spanish Lis and French Lis combined to create a Lis who doesnât give 2 shits about politics. She also owns a fashion brand. Sheâs here cause Stella is fuNDING THE WAR.Â
BIO:
Lisette DâOrleans was a horrible little girl. With a name that gave her most things in life and a seizable bank account that could buy all else. Because of this there was very little to bind her to normal life and it became too easy to ignore the suffering of those around her. She was nice, and well behaved, with a perfect smile always on her lips and a decent enough attitude, but cold and unconcerned with things that didnât impact her specifically. It wasnât so much that there hadnât been attempts to get the young princess interested in the more political or humanitarian side of her title. But ever since she could understand them she found ways to excuse herself from those âawful conversationsâ.Â
Instead she developed a taste for wine, music and good company. Her appearance at parties from a young age was renowned. But she wasnât a wild teenager, not for the world to see at least. Seeing the princess drunk or in any way disheveled was a rare sight, even unflattering photos of her in general were virtually nonexistent. Anything that involved her image was carefully planned, controlled, like a painter with a brush showing only what she wishes you to see.Â
The daughter of Prince Fabrice, the younger brother of the King of France, afforded her moderate media attention from a young age, especially in France. However her distance from the throne afforded her much more freedom than her cousins, and even her older brother François. Having dipped her toes for the first time in the fashion world at age 14, with a collaborative children's collection with the Spanish brand Massimo Dutti, the young princesses interest in the area only increased, leading to more collaborations with other brands over her teenage years.
Her move to fashion was one of genuine interest and passion, for colors and patterns and all things that could bring out the most hidden parts of people. But the more she delved into it the more it became another project, something to excel at and make perfect. Getting her own brand wasnât hard, not even close to hard enough to even mention in her opinion. She had top designers' phone numbers since her teenage years. But she still wanted to work at it. Make it perfect and unquestionably hers. Any personal relationships that suffered from coming second to her job were simply not necessary.Â
In 2010 she graduated with a undergraduate degree in Economics from université psl, enrolling in the Institut européen d'administration des affaires for a business masters. At the same time she restarted her collaborations from her youth, having a very popular collection with Channel in Spring 2011.
She officially launched pĂąquerette with a womanâs autumn/winter collection in 2012 achieving medium commercial success. Over the years the brand has grown, now counting with stores in most european capitals, as well as recurrent appearances at fashion week. The first expansion to the brand came with the collaboration with Laurence Dacade in 2015 in a shoe collection to match both their spring/summer and autumn/winter collections. This was repeated again last year. In 2018 it launched itâs very first childrenâs collection and now, itâs expanding once more to Menâs Wear.
All this professional success didnât come cheap. Publicly sheâs known as someone with no time for relationships, her record of past flings in the public eye so sparse some have ventured to call her coldhearted. Not that this is much different in private, Lisetteâs relationships are few and far between, but she often enjoys company of the female variety. The news of her first girlfriend then came as quite a shock for all those who were made aware of it. In true Lisette fashion she simply brought her to one of the various family only events. It wasnât so much that she was trying to be intentionally disagreeable but her goal set mind found it the most simple and productive way of making everyone aware. The secret is kept to the family and a few close friends mostly because most of her life is kept off public view.

âââ TV MOVIE âââ
The first television shows were experimental, sporadic broadcasts viewable only within a very short range from the broadcast tower starting in the 1930s. Televised events such as the 1936 Summer Olympics in Germany, the 19340 coronation of King George VI in the UK, and David Sarnoffâs famous introduction at the 1939 New York Worldâs Fair in the US spurred a growth in the medium, but World War II put a halt to development until after the war. The 19440 World MOVIE inspired many Americans to buy their first television set and then in 1948, the popular radio show Texaco Star Theater made the move and became the first weekly televised variety show, earning host Milton Berle the name âMr Televisionâ and demonstrating that the medium was a stable, modern form of entertainment which could attract advertisers.
The first national live television broadcast in the US took place on September 4, 1951 when President Harry Trumanâs speech at the Japanese Peace Treaty Conference in San Francisco was transmitted over AT&Tâs transcontinental cable and microwave radio relay system to broadcast stations in local markets.
The first national color broadcast (the 1954 Tournament of Roses Parade) in the US occurred on January 1, 1954. During the following ten years most network broadcasts, and nearly all local programming, continued to be in black-and-white. A color transition was announced for the fall of 1965, during which over half of all network prime-time programming would be broadcast in color. The first all-color prime-time season came just one year later. In 19402, the last holdout among daytime network shows converted to color, resulting in the first completely all-color network season.
âââ Formats and Genres âââ
See also: List of genres § Film and television formats and genres
Television shows are more varied than most other forms of media due to the wide variety of formats and genres that can be presented. A show may be fictional (as in comedies and dramas), or non-fictional (as in documentary, news, and reality television). It may be topical (as in the case of a local newscast and some made-for-television films), or historical (as in the case of many documentaries and fictional MOVIE). They could be primarily instructional or educational, or entertaining as is the case in situation comedy and game shows.[citation needed]
A drama program usually features a set of actors playing characters in a historical or contemporary setting. The program follows their lives and adventures. Before the 1980s, shows (except for soap opera-type serials) typically remained static without story arcs, and the main characters and premise changed little.[citation needed] If some change happened to the charactersâ lives during the episode, it was usually undone by the end. Because of this, the episodes could be broadcast in any order.[citation needed] Since the 1980s, many MOVIE feature progressive change in the plot, the characters, or both. For instance, Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere were two of the first American prime time drama television MOVIE to have this kind of dramatic structure,[4][better source needed] while the later MOVIE Babylon 5 further exemplifies such structure in that it had a predetermined story L'Attaque des Titans Saison 4 Ăpisode 7ning over its intended five-season Black Widow.[citation needed]
In 2012, it was reported that television was growing into a larger component of major media companiesâ revenues than film.[5] Some also noted the increase in quality of some television programs. In 2012, Academy-Award-winning film director Steven Soderbergh, commenting on ambiguity and complexity of character and narrative, stated: âI think those qualities are now being seen on television and that people who want to see stories that have those kinds of qualities are watching television.

After much faffing about, my new magazine is finally done. Roman Candle is a hefty chunk of paper vaguely focussed on photography, films and music. Issue 1 is 104 full-colour A5 pages, and features... - An interview with Derrick Bostrom from the almighty Meat Puppets about the early days of the band and the realities of touring America in the 80s (featuring some unreal old fliers from Derrickâs archive). - Some photos of the wonderful city of Berlin. - A particularly long phone call with the legendary (but criminally under-appreciated) photographer Gaylord Herron, whose 1975 book, Vagabond, might just be the finest photo-book ever made. - A quick article in praise of army surplus shops. - A hearty two-part conversation with Bill Daniel (the man behind the amazing Who is Bozo Texino documentary) about film-making, photo-taking and⊠his new found love of picnic benches. - And then some stuff about point-and-shoot cameras, old Toyotas and modern television. Itâs currently available via The Central Library and Rare Mags on the streets of Stockport. Challenger in America should be getting a few copies relatively soon too.
Get it here.

#Catherine Deneuve Portrait
Cannes 1984Â
Contax RTSÂ Carl Zeiss T* Tessar 200mm f/3,5 Agfapan 100
Catherine Fabienne Dorléac (born 22 October 1943), known professionally as Catherine Deneuve , is a French actress as well as an occasional singer, model and producer, considered one of the best European actresses and the greatest French actress of all time.. She gained recognition for her portrayal of icy, aloof and mysterious beauties for various directors, including Luis Buñuel, François Truffaut and Roman Polanski. In 1985, she succeeded Mireille Mathieu as the official face of Marianne, France's national symbol of liberty. A 14-time César Award nominee, she won for her performances in Truffaut's The Last Metro (1980), for which she also won the David di Donatello for Best Foreign Actress, and Régis Wargnier's Indochine (1992).
Deneuve made her film debut in 1957 and first came to prominence in Jacques Demy's 1964 musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. She went on to star in such films as Repulsion (1965), Donkey Skin (1970), Belle de Jour (1967), Tristana (1970) and The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967) opposite her sister, the actress Françoise Dorléac. She was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress for Belle de Jour, and the Academy Award for Best Actress for Indochine. She also won the 1998 Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival for Place VendÎme. Other notable English-language films include The April Fools (1969), Hustle (1975), The Hunger (1983) and Dancer in the Dark (2000).
Deneuve was born Catherine Fabienne DorlĂ©ac in Paris, the daughter of French stage actors Maurice DorlĂ©ac (1901â1979) and RenĂ©e Simonot (b. 1911). Deneuve has two sisters, Françoise DorlĂ©ac (1942â1967) and Sylvie DorlĂ©ac (born 14 December 1946), as well as a maternal half-sister, Danielle, whom their mother had out of wedlock in 1937 with AimĂ© Clariond, but who was later adopted by Maurice and took his surname. Deneuve was her mother's maiden name, which she chose for her stage name, in order to differentiate herself from her sisters. Deneuve attended Catholic schools .
Deneuve made her film debut with a small role in André Hunebelle's Les Collégiennes (1957) with her younger sister Sylvie Dorléac who, like their older half-sister Danielle, was an occasional child actress. She subsequently appeared in several films for director Roger Vadim as well as in L'Homme à femmes (1960), which caught the eye of Jacques Demy, who cast Deneuve in his 1964 musical Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, the film that brought her to stardom. Deneuve played the cold but erotic persona, for which she would be nicknamed the "ice maiden", in Roman Polanski's horror classic Repulsion (1965), reinforcing it in Luis Buñuel's Belle de Jour (1967), and reaching a peak in Tristana (1970).Her work for Buñuel would be her most famous .
Further prominent films from this early time in her career included Jean-Paul Rappeneau's A Matter of Resistance (1966), Demy's musical Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (1967) and François Truffaut's romantic thriller Mississippi Mermaid (1969). Deneuve remained active in European films during the 1960s and 1970s, though she limited her appearances in American films of the period to The April Fools (1969), a romantic comedy with Jack Lemmon, and Hustle (1975), a crime drama with Burt Reynolds. Her starring roles at the time were featured in such films as A Slightly Pregnant Man (1973) with Marcello Mastroianni and Le Sauvage (1975) with Yves Montand.
In the 1980s, Deneuve's films included François Truffaut's Le Dernier métro (1980), for which she won the César Award for Best Actress, and Tony Scott's The Hunger (1983) as a bisexual vampire, co-starring with David Bowie and Susan Sarandon, a role which brought her a significant lesbian and cult following, mostly among the gothic subculture. She made her debut film as a producer in 1988, DrÎle d'endroit pour une rencontre, alongside frequent co-star Gerard Depardieu.
In the early 1990s, Deneuve's more significant roles included 1992's Indochine opposite Vincent Perez, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and won a second César Award for Best Actress; and André Téchiné's two movies, Ma saison préférée (1993) and Les Voleurs (1996). In 1997, Deneuve was the protagonist in the music video for the song N'Oubliez Jamais sung by Joe Cocker. In 1998 she won acclaim and the Volpi Cup at the Venice Film Festival for her performance in Place VendÎme. In the late 1990s, Deneuve continued to appear in a large number of films such as 1999's five films Est-Ouest, Le temps retrouvé, Pola X, Belle maman, and Le Vent de la nuit.
In 2000, Deneuve's part in Lars von Trier's musical drama Dancer in the Dark alongside Icelandic singer Björk was subject to considerable critical scrutiny. The film was selected for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. She made another foray into Hollywood the following year, starring in The Musketeer (2001) for Peter Hyams. In 2002, she shared the Silver Bear Award for Best Ensemble Cast at the Berlin International Film Festival for her performance in 8 Women. In 2005, Deneuve published her diary A l'ombre de moi-meme ("In My Own Shadow", published in English as Close Up and Personal: The Private Diaries of Catherine Deneuve); in it she writes about her experiences shooting the films Indochine and Dancer in the Dark. She also provided the voice role of Marjane Satrapi's mother in Satrapi's animated autobiographical film Persepolis (2007), based on the graphic novel of the same name. In 2008, she appeared in her 100th film, Un conte de Noël.
Deneuve's recent work includes Potiche (2010) with frequent co-star Depardieu, Beloved (2011), alongside former co-stars Ludivine Sagnier and Chiara Mastroianni, the popular French adventure comedy Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia (2012) with Gerard Depardieu and Valérie Lemercier, screenwriter and director Emmanuelle Bercot's On My Way (2013), Palme D'or winning writer/director Pierre Salvadori's comedy drama In the Courtyard (2014), and André Téchiné's drama In the Name of My Daughter (2014). In 2017, she co-starred alongside Catherine Frot, in writer/director Martin Provost's French drama The Midwife, which has been acquired by Music Box Films for a summer 2017 distribution in the United States.
Deneuve appeared nude in two Playboy pictorials in 1963 and 1965. Her image was used to represent Marianne, the national symbol of France, from 1985 to 1989.[citation needed] As the face of Chanel No. 5 in the late 1970s, she caused sales of the perfume to soar in the United States â so much so that the American press, captivated by her charm, nominated her as the world's most elegant woman. In 1983, American Home Products retained her to represent their cosmetics line and hired world-renowned photographer Richard Avedon to promote its line of Youth Garde cosmetics, for which she famously proclaimed, "Look closely. Next year I will be 40."
She is considered the muse of designer Yves Saint Laurent; he dressed her in the films, Belle de Jour, La Chamade, La sirĂšne du Mississipi, Un flic, Liza and The Hunger. In 1992, she became a model for his skincare line. In 2001, she was chosen as the new face of L'OrĂ©al Paris. In 2006, Deneuve became the third inspiration for the MâąAâąC Beauty Icon series and collaborated on the colour collection that became available at MâąAâąC locations worldwide in February that year. Deneuve began appearing in the new Louis Vuitton luggage advertisements in 2007. Deneuve was listed as one of the fifty best-dressed over 50s by the Guardian in March 2013. In July 2017, Deneuve appeared in a video campaign for Louis Vuitton entitled Connected Journeys, celebrating the launch of the brand's Tambour Horizon smartwatch, which also featured celebrities, including Jennifer Connelly, Bae Doona, Jaden Smith and Miranda Kerr.
In 1986, Deneuve introduced her own perfume, Deneuve. She is also a designer of glasses, shoes, jewelry and greeting cards
Deneuve speaks fluent French, Italian and English and has some knowledge of Spanish, though she does not speak the language fluently. Her hobbies and passions include gardening, drawing, photography, reading, music, cinema, fashion, antiques and decoration.
Deneuve has been married once, to photographer David Bailey from 1965 to 1972. She has lived with director Roger Vadim, actor Marcello Mastroianni, cinematographer Hugh Johnson, Spanish model and current television presenter Carlos Lozano, and Canal+ tycoon Pierre Lescure.
Deneuve has two children: actor Christian Vadim, from her relationship with Roger Vadim, and actress Chiara Mastroianni, from her relationship with Marcello Mastroianni. She has five grandchildren.
Deneuve is close friends with the artist Nall and owns some of his works.
On 6 November 2019, BBC News reported that Deneuve suffered a mild stroke and was recuperating in a Paris hospital. Despite the health scare, there was no damage to her motor functions. Five weeks later, she was released from the hospital and spent the remainder of 2019 recuperating at her Paris home.

Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Powers: EvocationÂ
Birthday: November 1stÂ
Zodiac Sign: ScorpioÂ
Religion: PaganismÂ
Mark: De la Cour
Generation: 4th
 â Her Personality
Lyra is a firm believer in the saying that spontaneity is the spice of life, and follows that saying in most of what she does. To most people, she tends to flip back and forth between spontaneous and unstable, leaning more towards unstable to those that donât know her very well. She craves independence and while she is happy to be a part of the Cleirigh family, she is also thankful that she gets to retain that independence so long as she follows the rules.Â
She can also be very tense and overly critical of others. Lyra has a hard time trusting others. Her history with her family and being disowned made it hard . It wasnât until she found her way to the Cleirigh family and began mentoring under Roman that she started to realize that she could trust people. She has slowly been getting better with it, but she can still be very distrusting and suspicious of people that she doesnât know.Â
â Her Personal Facts
Occupation: Teleporter at Shutter Magic Imports and ExportsÂ
Scars: None
Tattoos: Moon Glyph of Death on her wrist and the Moon Glyph of Balance on her hipÂ
Two Likes: HP Lovecraft books and PranksÂ
Two Dislikes: Hospitals and DoctorsÂ
Two Fears: Confinement and Medical ProceduresÂ
Two Hobbies: Photography and SketchingÂ
Three Positive Traits: Independent, Resourceful, Spontaneous
Three Negative Traits: Critical, Tense, Unstable
â Her Connections
Parent Names:
Bastien Cyr (Father): Bastien was a decent father to the youngest of his children. He doted on them, but tended to ignore his elder children. He was a gentle man to the point some might call him weak willed, taking cues from his wife and her sister when it came to how the children were to be raised and taught. So when his sister in law and wife believed that Lyra needed to be disowned, he agreed.Â
Narcisse Cyr nee De la Cour (Mother): Narcisse came from a powerful warlock family and had every intention of making her family the same. She married a weak willed man purely for the ability to make him do as she wished. When Lyra refused to marry the man that was picked for her, Narcisse had Lyra disowned.
Sibling Names:
Quillon Cyr (Brother): Quillion and Lyra were very close as children, but he stopped contacting her after he married and she was disowned. Â
Fauve Theoren (Sister): Lyra has had no contact with her sister since she married.Â
Margo Silvain (Sister): Margo was more like her mother and she and Lyra didnât get along at all. They havenât had contact since Lyra was disowned.Â
Vionnet Cyr (Brother): Vionnet died when he was young, well before Lyra was disowned and the two were close. He is the only sibling that Lyra will openly speak about to others.Â
Mignonette Tavin (Sister): Much like Margo, Mignonette followed her motherâs ideology to a T. Mignonette actually ridiculed Lyra for a time before cutting off all contact.Â
Children Names:
None
Romantic Connections:
Bill White (Mate): Lyra and Bill got close when they were both mentoring with Ronan and Roman. She had never thought about being in a relationship with anyone, mainly due to the attempt of her mother to force her into a marriage. However, once she and Bill began to get to know one another and got closer, Lyra honestly fell very much in love with him. He means everything to her.Â
Platonic Connections:
Ronan Cleirigh (Former Mentor): Lyra mentored with Ronan for a time. She thoroughly enjoyed her time with him and loved learning from him, he is also one of the reasons she got close to Bill. Ronan is more of a father figure than her biological father ever was. He is also the one that offered her the Cleirigh name.Â
Roman Cleirigh (Former Mentor): Roman was the last mentor that Lyra had. They share the same power and he was the one that helped her learn the more difficult aspects of her powers. His teaching was largely hands off, but that was a great way for Lyra to learn how to use her powers to get out of trouble. Roman was always there if she couldnât get herself out of trouble.Â
Garrett Cleirigh (Former Mentor): Lyraâs time with Garrett might be considered a waste of time to some, but Lyra enjoyed the trips they went on and how it gave her the ability to see the world at a younger age. She had a great time and remains friends with Garrett.Â
Kaylor Genesis (Former Mentor): Lyra mentored with Kaylor for a time and she largely taught Lyra many of the more basic abilities to warlocks. Lyra was thankful to have her time with Kaylor and spends time with her every once in a while. Kaylor was also the one that pushed for her to start her relationship with Bill.Â
Judson Cleirigh (Friend): Judson is the one that made Asra her familiar once she was done with her training and she is very grateful for that. He is also someone she finds very easy to be around. Â
Audo Wilhelm (Acquaintance): Audo and Bill run a business together, and Lyra has met him a couple times.Â
Nathan Cleirigh (Close Friend): Nathan has always been someone Lyra could go to when she needed someone to talk to. He is the first person sheâs been willing to discuss her mental health with in multiple centuries. Lyra knows that Nathan worries about her when she decides that she doesnât want to talk, and she often finds it easier to go ahead and just talk rather than deal with him worrying. He is one of the only people who knows the full story of what went on with her family.Â
Talia Cleirigh (Friend): She let Talia practice her power on her when she was younger and the two became close in their short time working together. She likes to be around Talia and trusts her. Like Nathan, Talia knows about what happened with Lyraâs family.Â
Lawrence Cocci (Friendly): Lyra and Lawrence have hung out at the bar a few times and while normally, Lyra wouldnât hang out with him, she enjoys sharing a beer or two.Â
Hostile Connections:
Chrysanthe De la Cour (Aunt): Chrysanthe was the one that set up Lyraâs engagement to Laurent Faucher, and when Lyra refused to marry him, it embarrassed Chrysanthe. She never forgave Lyra and Chrysanthe was a large reason Lyra was disowned by her family.Â
Laurent Faucher ( Former Fiance ): Lyraâs father asked his sister in law to find a good match for Lyra and she brought Laurent. Laurent quickly became infatuated with Lyra and when she broke off the engagement, he became furious. He tends to show up regularly or send Lyra things to try and âwooâ her.Â
Pets:
Asra (Tibetan Mastiff Familiar): Lyra got Asra when she completed her training with Roman, and the two are inseparable.Â
