I want, or will write, a fic where there's no past Devil's Minion and Armand isn't impressed with older Daniel because he can hear Daniel's typical thoughts about Armand (ie he's really good looking, beautiful, etc.) Armand is used to hearing that, so he dismisses him.

What he doesn't realize until after Daniel remembers San Francisco is just because Daniel appreciates Armand's looks, he's not attracted to him. Until Daniel sees what a bloodthirsty monster he is. Then he's drawn to him, even though he tries to sublimate his sudden, raging horniness attraction with anger and competence.

But when Louis leaves them alone...

Each time I read something from the DM chapter I'm always so shocked to realize how that single chapter is a pure horror story.

Armand is evil and psychotic with Daniel, who is like a interesting creature to him, someone he can have fun with. Armand is a real monster, right out from a Gothic novel from the romantic age.

Happy (belated) Hallow's Eve! My best friend and I went as sapphic Devil's Minion - she as Armand and m'self as Daniel! Sewed a dress inspired off his shirt. True to form, Armand created the PERFECT blood mixture in the kitchen, cackling all the while.
