fun fact: this lineart originally had the actual lunch/picnic table ridges and then i realized that was too much, especially without access to the layers of lineart (personally, I would color the lineart for the table and then the support bars would be colored and the layer moved underneath the table top. I decided not to put colorists in a position to try to color it with one layer of lineart, but I did get quite far before making that decision)

More school uniforms. If you have noticed the pattern I use for them is a cent sign. This is because Nickolas High School's mascot is a Nickel. So the cent sign is their only choice of pattern besides plaid and fishnet lace.

Also due to the school having Aquatic beings attending. To keep them hydrated they can simply ask for water and the roof will spray them with water. Sadly though, this means if any student says water, liquid, or aqua they will also get sprayed with water. And if students say "I don't know." They get slime poured onto them. Get the reference? Lol

We start with Star from Danny Phantom. I gave her the last name Thompson because I gave everyone last names.

Spike: Black and Blue

The phandom community has made Spike Jazz's friend and I LIVE for it. My sister was laughing at his tie.

Sidney Poindexter: Blue and White

Like Ember he has a uniform even though he'll attend the school like one chapter/issue. Still worth drawing the uniform. He's also the last of the Danny Phantom characters.

Jenny Wakeman: Blue and Light Blue

Now we're on My Life as a Teenage Robot and those characters.

Sheldon Lee: Dark Blue and Blue

The nerd who has a major crush on Jenny. He's more than likely gonna wear his big coat over.

Brad Carbunkle: Blue and White

Jenny's bestie.

Brit Crust: Black and Orange

The Crust cousins. I think they would have a rivalry with Paulina and Star over who's more popular. Not all popular students get along lol.

Tiff Crust: Black and Orange

The cousins also HATE having to wear uniforms because they love showing off their fashion.

Misty: Purple and Blue

Like Ember and Sydney. She's probably only show up in one chapter as the antagonist or one of the antagonists.

Don Prima: Brown and Orange

This man cried over a scrap on his shoes. You just gotta love him.

Jenny's Exo Skin: Dark Blue and Blue

Again, one time villain. Still she has a uniform.

Glenn Wakeman: Dark Green and Slime Green

Jenny's younger plant cousin. He's like a preteen Swamp Thing. I imagine him hanging out with Dani.

Random DCxDP Prompt/Thought #2

Jason Finds a Notebook in Danny's drawer, Big Capital letters on its cover written as 'Labels', He raises an eyebrow as he inspects and opens the notebook. "What's this about??" He asked, Turning his head to Danny before reading the text. "Oh that's my nicknames for people cuz I tend to forget names a lot." Danny shrugged nonchalantly as Jason flipped through the pages.

He stared dead silent for a moment at his name and it's 'labels', blinking in disbelief. "WHY DO YOU HAVE ME AS 'ANGER ISSUES', 'FUNNIER THAN JOKER', AND 'HE WHO PROBABLY HAS A FURSONA'?!" Jason read the other labels in disbelief.

His gaze landing on Bruce's 'labels', barking out a laugh as he read the first one out loud. " YOU HAVE B AS 'AUTISM SPECTRUM'?!" He yelled out with a wide amused grin, Danny laughing softly, "I mean... Just look at him..." Danny shrugged making Jason laugh out even more.

Okay so out of morbid curiosity Danny decided to read some phantom fanfic (in universe there has got to be some you know it) and he’s talking about this 40 chapter angst fic and he approaches Paulina to compliment her as she’s the author and she’s horrified as he was one of the characters as a minor villain that dies spurring his parents to double their efforts to destroy Phantom and she’s just staring at him as he really liked the speech he made and the way his villain arc almost became a redemption arc before dying.

The last chapter ended on a cliffhanger and he couldn’t wait for the sequel fic she’s planning.

“Anyways, got to go. Bye Paulina!”, he leaves as she’s frozen in place.

Dash is next to her and is equally distraught as he’s wondering if he’s next and if he needs to delete his self insert one shot crack fic?

What’s worse is when he does it as Phantom and talks to Star and Valerie. Kwan nopes out of there and tells Paulina that Phantom knows and reads her fics!

“He was talking to Star and Valerie about it too!”

Oh gawd when the fan base found out and his first book as Phantom isn’t a fic but a book of information to make sure they get their characterization right. He also added a chapter or two for Danny Fenton, allies, and enemies. He makes a note that Box Ghost and Lunch Lady are dating and it drives them crazy wanting to know how he knows that but can’t ask him any questions because comments are disabled.

So they debate approaching Fenton about it but don’t want to at the same time. Then he doesn’t acknowledge anything he did.

He does not acknowledge the fanfictions or fanart or anything and now wondering if they all developed psychosis ?

Months later, the book is updated to include ghost wedding traditions and the note of Box ghost and lunch lady being spouses with a child.

Paulina might just scream and shake him if she doesn’t get answers.

More chapters and changes over time to the book are always met with a reaction, but Phantom and Fenton say nothing about it.

Tucker’s fics suddenly all have one comment from Phantom and it’s just “Lol furry boy has a girlfriend now”. The first time Phantom has every commented and it’s Tucker’s and it’s to tell everyone A) he thinks Tucker is a furry B) that TUCKER has a girlfriend C) that said girlfriend is REAL.

Fenton never comments unless it’s in person and he will walk up to you in front of anyone. It’s terrifying.

Someone was with their parents when he started walking towards them and they locked eyes. THEY FXCKING RAN!!! The fastest they ever did. HECK NO!!!!

Something like this. Phantom never comments on fanart and he only ever likes this one guys, named Spike, depiction of himself.

:3 Phantom gave Star an autograph on the back of a Nasty burger napkin with a little doodle.

Wesley isn’t spared, none shall talk about it or he’ll cry. Absolute bxstxrd behavior.

Danny is diabolical and off handedly mentions Phantom’s clone sister. They look and yeah the book was updated AFTER HE SAID THAT and they get three chapters about her and she is 12 in appearance.

Danny doesn’t know this until way later because he hadn’t actively updated it in a while, but both Jazz and Jacky (Dani) also added that he’s a prince.

Oh that reminds me. Phantom’s book outlines who should never be shipped with him and out of respect a lot of fics got deleted because he was clear with his boundaries. Of course every fandom has toxic members and they usually get ignored or blocked/ deleted.

Tucker took it seriously and made a program to delete the worse of it with an email detailing why things were deleted or blocked and links to therapists and help hotlines plus other resources because the problem might be due to trauma or ignorance. (Sam and Jazz helped with this part)

They don’t tell Danny about it.

Extended Team Phantom

I love the classic trio and seeing Jazz and Valerie added to the roster, but I also love seeing some fresh faces fighting the good fight. Here's some more people I always picture when I'm thinking about how the team would evolve over the years.

Wes Weston - obviously, you've got to include the fandom's collective child. Once they finally drill the importance of Danny’s secrets into his head, he's actually great at misdirection. It turns out there's a slight memetic effect to the information he spreads. It causes people to also disbelieve any evidence of Wes's theory they stumble across later. The effect lasts somewhere between 1-2 week

Kyle Weston- Kyle is actually his middle name. He did not escape the Weston naming tradition, but he told his kindergarten teacher that his middle name was actually his first name. From that point forward, he learned that: the more outrageous his lies, the more power they held. Kyle may be ridiculously laid back, but that doesn't change the fact that he's been academically tied with Jazz since 1st grade. He knows EVERYTHING that goes on in Casper High and has been covering for Team Phantom ever since the 1st Lunch Lady fight. Good luck getting him to admit to any of this. Danny is still convinced Kyle thinks the moon is made of cheese.

Philip "Spike" Wilkins - the only adult member of the team and the only one with first aid training. Spike was a senior in his first appearance and has since graduated and got his paramedic's certification. One nasty fight led to Spike learning Danny’s identity and calling Jazz to pick him up. The absence of his piercings (can't wear those at work) cause Jazz to not recognize him at first, but that moment of confusion was soon replaced with relief. Spike has been Jazz's best friend and pseudo big brother since she was in 3rd grade. It's not a problem for him to expand that to all of Team Phantom. Looks can be deceiving and the studs and mohawk don't change the fact that Spike is the true Team Mom of the Extended Team Phantom.

Absolutely love the idea of the tradition of trading locks of hair amongst people you care about. The idea of having two strands of your hair embracing one of theirs. Chopping it off as a sign of betrayal/vengeance.

I have this polycule where one of my oc’s that I live vicariously through has two partners and a missing brother. I like to think that it’s a tradition their brother started with them when he left on his first voyage and he’s been missing six years. I like to think that they passed that tradition on to their partners and maybe even their crew. They still only has two braids, one with their brother’s hair and one with both their partner’s hair.

I also have an oc from a backstory of my owlin d&d character that has a lock of their half-elf deceased spouse braided in his hair. He’s a dwarf who took her in when she was stealing from him.

Anyway, just throwing this into the aether. I do have ideas for certain ships I think would have this dynamic. Everlasting Trio most likely. Possibly Everlasting Insomniacs. Either romantic or platonic Team Seven. Honestly platonic Sannin I could see as well. I could see Spike allowing a small bit to grow out to have a rat tail or a temple braid with Buffy’s hair and she would have some of his braided behind her left ear because he’s always covering that side of her. They both probably would also have braids with Dawn maybe.

I feel like it has to be a soul-deep love that gets these braids. Anyway, it’s bed time. I’m gonna tag everything mentioned in this post in the hopes that somebody picks it up and runs with it.

So, this post is a continuation of this post. I hope you guys like it. Also, I'm not that good at writing.

Danny really shouldn't be surprised by how things turned out. After all, he didn't think it through when he told his parents that he missed Jazz. Now his parents were insisting that Danny go with Vlad to Gotham. He didn't want to spend time alone with the fruit loop. He wanted to visit his sister, not go to one of those stupid fancy galas that Bruce Wayne was throwing. Still, if he was suffering, his sister was suffering with him.

"Did you have to drag me to one of these fancy galas, Danny?" Jazz said.

"In my defense, if I'm suffering, so are you." She rolled her eyes at that comment. When they arrived at the gala, it looked like they weren't the only ones from Amity Park.

"Wait, Danny, look over there by the snack table. Is that Sam and Tucker?" That was, in fact, Sam with Tucker by the vegan snack table. "Looks like Sam's parents dragged her to the party," Danny said as he started walking in their direction, with Jazz following behind him. "At least they let her choose the dress she wanted," Jazz mentioned. At least he wasn't suffering by himself; he had his sister and friends to suffer with.

"Hey, guys," Danny called out to them. "Danny, Jazz, you're here too!" Sam and Tucker acknowledged them simultaneously.

"Yeah, we're here with the fruit loop," Jazz replied.

"So you guys are having fun?" Danny asked.

"Nah, man, there’s barely any meat to eat." Tucker said. "Other than the gala being boring, the only good thing is that there are a lot of vegan options." Sam added.

"So, do you guys want to get out of here?" Tucker asked/suggested. Danny looked at him. "And go where?"

"Well, if it helps, I heard that Jackson Wang was throwing a party we could go to," Jazz suggested.

They do end up going to Jackson Wang's party hence what happens in this post.

Absolutely! Im not super great at explaining characters so im not sure where to start? Ill do my best

Spike in my head is a quiet guy, he's not shy he's just usually pretty quiet and with a deadpan expression. Underneath that deadpan and faux done with it all goth exterior, he's a sweetie with a mischievous streak. In general he likes being helpful to people. He's also pretty observant! Altho he keeps a lot of these observations to himself.

(He realized who phantom was pretty quick. Cuz like that dummy trying to fight a giant meat monster is def jazz's dorky lil brother, right? But like thats None of his Business, the Fentons are weird and can do whatever they want.)

Jazz and him have been friends for a while and met through getting into opposite sides of an arguement during an english class once their freshman year. It was one of the few times their classmates heard him talk with such almost enthusiasm.

Jazz likes to use him as her patient at times which is fine, because she also will sit thru his long emo rants about how the end is nigh or whatever. He's also just a really good listener, partially cuz he doesn't talk much and when he does its always something he's put a lot of thought into and is very confident in saying.

also though he absolutely loves bringing up stupid arguments like "is water wet?" Just cuz Jazz's unbridled irritation at it is hilarious
