I was wondering whether to swap out and change my PFPs and banner every now and then but I've kept it like this since 2024 since it matches SOOO well

Sidu's sense of values and muted colours are so good. This Ene art is one of my top faves ever... She looks so cool... 💙

Also I love how Ene's hand is placed that points to Saeru. It looks so good position wise 🤭💞

And I love how the ice blue of her eyes pops out against her muted blues and saturated purple shadows.

The Kuroha/Saeru Joker Card (Trump Card Ver.) art by Sidu is sooo good. Honestly one of my fave Saeru arts ever 🖤💛

His smirk is SOOO perfect in it.

I was also considering having Mire's KuroEne Ticket Comm Art as my banner cuz I've been using it as a banner for my other socials, and it's honestly so perfect.

Mire's art is so gorgeous... I wanna print it out on my wall for personal use 🙏🥺💗💘💞

I chose their flowers based on my HCs 🤭

I tipped her for both these comms. The thorned roses... The snake curled around the bunny... 💞💘

I wrote a huge masterpost picking flowers for them based on aesthetics/vibes and flower symbolisms, but it's been in the drafts since October (since I wanna double check my sources on Hanakotoba meanings first)

Based on my own research of common Hanakotoba meanings and JP florists' blogs.

Feila also discussed their inputs with me for their Flower Symbolisms and discussed the ideas for this comm with me!

Selena's main theme colour is purple, and she is also associated with blue and pink. Bi flag colours, wahoo! 💜💙🩷

Hydrangea is very fitting for Selena, especially purple hydrangea, since it's a toxic purple flower, and Selena's specialty is poison 💜

I asked Mire to draw blue, pink, and purple hydrangea! 💐💗

Mire is VERY sweet with drawing ships, including yume ships!! Highly recommend 💘💞

I imagine that Selena often loses track of time while tending to her flowers in her garden so she'll fall asleep in there (and also falls asleep in random places in general)

She takes naps in her garden.

The eepy wife... 🐈‍⬛ Truly a cat cot.

So Xanxus has to send his men/subordinates to go fetch her (sometimes he'll come himself)

The idea I had for this comm is that Selena has one eye open :> since she's pretending to be asleep when Xanxus checks up on her

Oh my gosh their expressions and design details were drawn so well... 💗💖

Mire is also very understanding with minor detail fixes, like I asked to adjust the shape of Xanxus' scar and jacket stripes ^^

I still need to prepare a post for this XanLena comm on main since I like to add my rambles underneath first.

Tree Peony (Paeonia suffruticosa) = King of Flowers in JP and CN culture

So I asked for Mire to include a bouquet of Red Tree Peonies to represent Xanxus ❤️

Meaning wise, it is so perfect for him 👑

Xanxus is called the "darkness of the Mafia" in KHR's 1st info book, Vongola 77 😌❤️

In Bel's profile, his line towards Xanxus is, "If I'm the prince, then Boss is the king," in his Character Relationship Chart.

Since Xanxus is called "the king" by his subordinates, like Bel.

Mire added the bow on her own with her own artistic vision, which is such a cute detail… It's the same colour as Selena's ribbons... 🥺❤️💜

I imagine that Selena would collect and take care of flowers in her own garden since she loves beautiful and cute things 💗

She'd love experimenting with the colours of hydrangea blooms (for the colour changing species of hydrangea)

She'd make hydrangea blooms like this rare tri-coloured (bi flag colours) hydrangea 💐💙💜🩷

My picks are based mainly on Japanese Floriography, but there's a bit of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Victorian floriography too.

I believe that most of the flowers I gave to Xanxus are ones that Selena would associate to him 💗💞

Selena often gifts Xanxus flower bouquets fresh from her garden.

But some like Peonies and Orange Lilies, are absolutely Xanxus core due to his character theme-ing of Wrath.

All core canon-verse Varia members represent the 7 Deadly Sins.

Xanxus represents the Deadly Sin of Wrath.

I'll be honest. I've thought about changing my PFP to this Judar again from the Magi omakes, like I thought of doing it as an April Fool's joke (which I ended up doing), but I feel like no one would bat an eye cuz of how my faves are like LMFAO

Sen-core faves: Murderous, bloodthirsty, violent (or at the very least, has a disposition for violence), MAY eat people and/or their innards

I wanna comm JuAli from Mire once her comms reopen again (and once I finish my ref sheets since I wanna comm them with my HC designs 👍)
