IN THE TRUNK

Our friends and colleagues from Lithuania have started a super nice project called "Producers InThe Trunk" (PITT). Everything is already explained in the name of this series (more or less) — they are filming producers in action with multiple cams while driving their Volvo V70 through the streets of Vilnius and, since this spring, in Rīga. So far 12 live music videos have been made from the trunk of the Volvo, all featuring young talents — producers from the Baltic countries and not only — LT: Napo, Fingalick, Youwin, MC Mesijus x Münpauzn, Deep Shoq, Rushkeys; EE: Sander Mölder and Firejose; DE: Ticklish; and our Latvian boys Kodek, Niklāvz and Mr. Myster. This year the theme of the annual Vilnius International Film Festival was "įkvėpimai" - which stands for "breathe in", a metaphorical rephrase for "inspirations". The iconic, vibrant peony had to metaphorically represent the end of winter and the birth of spring, aswell as the birth of new ideas in European Cinema.
