First Date Ideas (Multi TWST Cast X Reader)

Summary: Short drabbles of where you would take your favorite Twisted Wonderland guy on a first date, and where he would take you.

AN: Pseudo part 2 to the asking-out fic I posted. Not really much else to say besides I really liked trying to come up with a bunch of unique ideas. Thanks for reading!

Part 1: Asking them out

Ace:

Where you take him: Arcade

It’s fun, it’s cozy, it’s classic, and it gives Ace a chance to show off. You both get a bunch of tokens, eat greasy pizza, and try your hand at the games. You take each other on in skeeball and Ace tries to convince you to go against him in the basketball game but you argue he has an unfair advantage. So you settle for the racing simulator. After, when you collect all your tickets, you pour over the prize counter, probably ending up with something not very impressive, or maybe a snow cone maker that stops working after the first three uses. But you’ll treasure it since it’s loaded with memories.

Where he takes you: Carnival

This boy is already a clown, put him back where he belongs. Besides the fact that it gives him an excuse to impress you by winning prizes at the games alley, or trying to anyway, a carnival date fits Ace’s high energy. You can share popcorn and cotton candy while watching the circus acts and Ace will whisper to you explanations for the tricks the magician uses. There’s plenty of stuff to do and tons of fried food. It’s a classic for a reason. And he’d love it if you hold on to him on the rollercoasters. He ends up screaming more than you.

Deuce:

Where you take him: Petting zoo

I just want to see Deuce fawning over baby chicks, is that so much to ask? NGL, I think he’d love it. You could go to some sort of tourist farm and check out the cows getting milked, sheep shearing or sheepdog herding, and collect eggs from the chickens (the kind that don’t hatch into chicks). I can also see Deuce getting into a grudge match against a goat that keeps bonking into his legs with his horns. At the end of the day you’ll sit at a picnic table eating some treats made at the farm and watch the sunset.

Where he takes you: Botanical garden

Deuce would want to do something classic, a surefire, tried and tested dating spot. I can imagine him being nervous, getting you flowers when you are already going to see more flowers. You’ll hold the flowers in one hand and Deuce’s, slightly sweaty, hand in the other. If they have a butterfly room, even better. They’ll have a little booklet with different species and you and Deuce go on a scavenger hunt to identify as many as possible. Winner gets kisses.

Trey:

Where you take him: At home food science experiment kits

Did you ever see those at home science food kits where you made gummies and foam and other candy, usually themed to something really weird like monsters or worms? Yeah, you do those, half making fun of how weird it looks and half marveling at the cool effects of swirling all the different ingredients together. Will they taste amazing? Probably not, but Trey probably knows a few cool tricks to make everything a little more edible.

Where he takes you: Chocolate factory tour

Have you ever been to Hersheypark in Pennsylvania? There’s a whole section with a little dark ride that shows you the history of chocolate (that’s worse since they took the singing cow animatronics out), a cute interactive play, a trolly ride with chocolate samples, and two chocolate making experiences. You can stuff a giant Reese’s Cup (which is way too sweet IMO) or design your own chocolate bar including the wrapping. Anyway, there’s probably not a one-to-one replica, but with all that magic you can’t tell me there’s not something Willy Wonka-esque. You’ll both spend the day learning about the history of chocolate and chocolate making in Twisted Wonderland, capped off by making all kinds of treats. You’ll experiment with typical flavors, like raspberry, caramel, and nuts, to the more extraordinary, like jalapeno, lavender, and cheese. In the end, you’ll go home with a full box and a picture of the two of you, melted chocolate smearing your faces. (Trey will remind you at least three times to brush your teeth properly after all that sugar.)

Cater:

Where you take him: Thrift store

Listen, you find the right thrift store and you can find amazing treasures. And if not, well, you still find weird, kitschy stuff you can have fun ogling. You and Cater will take turns finding the best and worst outfits in the thrift store, having a makeshift fashion show by the changing rooms. Cater would, of course, take plenty of pictures for Magicam, labeling them #MeetMyNewPartner, #HeightOfFashion, #BestLookingCouple. You’ll also look through the aisles, coming up with backstories for all the various objects people have donated over the years. Whether or not you actually buy something isn’t the point. You end the day with plenty of pictures and at least three inside jokes that will drive everyone else crazy.

Where he takes you: Crafting class

There’s been an emergence of cute crafting stores. Make your own bag, make your own candle, paint your own pottery, make a phone case, rug tufting, that kind of thing. Not only are they a cute and totally Magicamable couples activity, it also gives you both something to take home at the end of the day. Whichever you do, I can see you both making a craft for each other. Maybe you keep what you’re doing a secret until the end, filming your reactions when you reveal your crafts. If you pay close attention later on, you can catch him quietly admiring your gift.

Riddle:

Where you take him: Escape room

Back during the NRC Halloween event, when everyone was stuck in the ghost realm, Riddle had a ton of fun solving those puzzles. I think he would love an escape room, finding clues and undoing locks, using logic and guile to uncover the story. He might get frustrated at the harder puzzles, but it’s all worth it when you work together to solve everything. You get your picture taken together with a “We Escaped!” sign that you frame. It would be something unexpected but fun for the both of you. (TBH, I think he would love the Nancy Drew games. Maybe not the part where you keep breaking into people's things and stealing stuff, though.)

Where he takes you: High tea and window shopping

Riddle is going for a classic, something prim and proper for a prim and proper boy. I can see him reserving a table at a high class hotel for high tea, a table set with a beautiful porcelain teapot and a tower of tiny sandwiches and cakes. He’d order a bunch of different teas you could try. Afterwards, you would walk along the street, checking out shops and talking together. Bonus points if you both get to wear something fancy and cute.

Leona:

Where you take him: Picnic

Look, while having the title of Ramshackle Dorm Prefect sounds fancy, you don’t have a lot of extra cash. You would need to do something simple and cheap but still meeting Leona’s royal tastes (You can’t tell me this boy isn’t a picky eater.) Thanks to the Culinary Crucible, you have a few new skills to test out. You find a big blanket in some old trunk in Ranshakle and pack everything together in a cute wicker basket. Maybe you’ll eat in the gardens where Leona always takes naps or go out on the beach to watch the waves. You both end up falling asleep with full bellies. (Leona won’t admit it, but he feels like that was the best food he’s had in a long time.)

Where he takes you: River cruise with a fancy dinner

Leona is going to see your cute picnic date and immediately one ups it with a super fancy and elegant river cruise with a full five course meal. It’s on a beautiful private yacht sailing down a river in the Sunset Savannah. You’ll sit on the deck, candlelight table, while perfectly dressed waiters serve you. This would probably backfire on Leona, though, as you tease him for acting the most prince-ly you’ve ever seen him. Not that you don’t have a ton of fun. By the time dessert rolls around, you’ve both ditched the fancy setting and started skipping stones in the wake of the boat.

Jack:

Where you take him: Canoeing

Something relaxing and outdoorsy and fun. I’m thinking you’ll find someplace like the Ocklawaha River or Crystal River in Florida. A beautiful river with plenty of turtles and fish to spot, surrounded by lush forests or Everglades. If you’re more confident on the water, maybe you each can have a kayak, but I imagine something like you both share a boat. It would be fun to have a sort of eye-spy sheet, like who can spot the most turtles, identify fish, maybe catching sight of a manatee, and, wait, was that an alligator? You’ll end your journey at a natural spring. Dumping your stuff in the canoes, you’ll jump in and spend the rest of the day swimming in the cool water. Maybe you find a good vine or rope and swing out over the water.

Where he takes you: Zip Lining and high ropes course

More high energy and involved than a lazy day river trip, but it gives you two the chance to be close. I can almost guarantee Jack found out about the place you go to from Coach Vargas. You’ll get hooked up into harnesses and climb up to a vast network of bridges and ladders and obstacle courses hung between the trees like a giant athletic spiderweb. Maybe at one point you slip, and, although you’re perfectly safe with the harness system, Jack still lunges forward to catch you, blushing hard after as he realizes how close you too are.

Ruggie:

Where you take him: Food festival

I imagine something like the Plant City Strawberry Festival, the Wilton Blueberry Festival, or the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Heck, even throw in the Epcot Food and Wine Festival if you want to have another Disney reference. Something county fair-like with plenty of free samples. You’re not sure who convinced who, but at some point you end up getting those cheesy headbands with springs on top and plastic versions of food bobbing around your heads. There always seems to be sketchy fair rides at these things, too, so you definitely cling to each other going down a log flume ride, kind of regretting how much you ate beforehand. But that’s not going to stop you from chowing down after.

Where he takes you: Farmer’s market

Listen, if something is good at a farmer’s market, then you know it’s the best. The big ones not only have plenty of great food, but also local performers and plenty of fun extras to buy. Even if you don’t want to buy anything, it’s fun walking through the crowds and seeing all the different stands. You definitely get some super fancy ice cream, probably with some ridiculous flavors like lavender, parmesan, or licorice. Serving sizes always seem huge too, so you both definitely go home with plenty of leftovers. (You totally don’t notice that Ruggie has been paying with Leona’s credit card this whole time.)

Azul:

Where you take him: Game shop

One of Azul’s vignette stories has him practicing throwing dice so many times until he’s able to completely control what numbers will come up. Sure, he might be in the board game club for fun, but also because he likes to win. So a game shop that hosts weekly game nights would be perfect not only for him to show off and impress you, but also a cozy space to have fun and take the pressure off first date jitters. Whether you have a game with just the two of you or join in with other patrons there, you can team up to strategize and win. I personally think something like One Night Werewolf would be perfect. (He does feel bad when he accuses you of being the werewolf, though. Too bad he’s right.)

Where he takes you: Fancy restaurant

It’s nothing compared to the Monstro Lounge, of course, But Azul is putting his best foot forward with a classic first date spot. Azul plans everything down to the most minute detail. He double and triple checks the menu of where you’re going before you even leave to make sure there’s nothing you’re allergic to and there’s something you’ll like. He goes all out: flowers, pulling out your chair, getting a bottle of something fancy and expensive to drink (non-alcoholic if you prefer). Of course, the moment you start complimenting him he turns red and starts tumbling over his words. Maybe you lean into that, enjoying teasing him, the switch from having everything under control to a mess of complex emotions. Still, you slide your hand across the table taking his, and you both have a perfect night.

Jade:

Where you take him: Make your own tea blend shop

Jade is an experimental guy. I think if he wasn’t the founder of the mountain lovers club he probably would be in the science club just to mix together every kind of chemical just to see what happens. You would take him to a small tea shop, maybe in town on Sage’s Island or somewhere else through the mirror portal. You would pick out matching tea cups then choose different flavors and leaves from the jars of dried tea. You could make up little packets of different custom blends, some of them stuff you actually think would taste good, some that just sound interesting all together. You and Jade could trade and drink them together back at the Monstro Lounge.

Where he takes you: Mountain and cave hike

This is kind of a gimme, but I think he’d want to show off all his knowledge of local mountain flora and fauna. He’s the only member of his club, which gives you plenty of time to be alone together and use the club’s budget however you want. He would surprise you by showing you an undiscovered cave entrance. Hopefully it’s not the kind where you have to crawl on your belly to get in. I like imagining something like Ruby Falls in Tennessee. He’d bring you in, turn off his lantern, and crowds of bioluminescent mushrooms would glow around you.

Floyd:

Where you take him: Roller derby

You can’t tell me this boy would not absolutely love watching a bunch of people going super fast while trying to beat the hell out of each other. He would immediately pick a favorite team and buy all their merch. Even if it’s just a small local circuit he’ll make his own merch for the two of you to wear while you cheer them on. Floyd already likes shoes, specifically sneakers, so I think he would really like the idea of roller skating, going as fast on land as he can in the sea. Your next date will be at a roller rink.

Where he takes you: Laser tag

Similar to going to a roller derby, Floyd would love the energy and competition of laser tag. He’d be vaulting over the barriers and launching sneak attacks against other players. Maybe you two would team up and top the leaderboard or maybe he’d hunt you down in the glow-in-the-dark black-light game room. Afterwards you can catch your breath in the lobby and eat junk food. You’re not sure if you’re excited or nervous when he mentions paintball.

Kalim:

Where you take him: Hands-on science museum

Coming up with a first date idea to impress Buys-A-Restaurant-Chain-Because-You-Said-You-Liked-Their-Breadsticks-Once-Kalim is a little harrowing. Sure, you know he would like whatever you have planned, it’s the thought that counts, but that doesn't mean you don’t want to try and show off a little. You eventually find a hands-on science museum. Think the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia or the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose or even WonderWorks. It’s something that keeps you active, jumping from exhibit to exhibit to try out all kinds of new things while pretending you're learning. Sure, most of the other people there are kids, but that doesn't stop either of you from having fun. With Kalim’s experience with all his younger siblings, you soon have a small army helping you with the replica dinosaur dig site.

Where he takes you: Fused glass class

Kalim’s first instinct is to go big. Throw a parade, rent out a theme park, buy a private island. This little ball of sunshine is way too excited to think anything through. Maybe Jamil mentions that you might be intimidated by such an overwhelming show of wealth on a first date, or maybe he implies you need to work up to something that extravagant. Whatever the case, Kalim agrees to start small. He’ll take you to a stained glass shop that offers classes in Silk City. You’ll take a fused glass class together, where you take shards and rods of other colored glass, placing them gently together in a shape. The owners fire the final product leaving you with a beautiful hand-made ornament. Kalim hangs it by his window back in his dorm room, smiling whenever the light catches it. (He’s still thinking about that private island, though.)

Jamil:

Where you take him: Aviary

Jamil mentioned in one of his vignettes that he would want to own a parrot one day. So why not give it a test run with a variety of different parrot species, and throw in some parakeets, falcons, lorikeets, and canaries while we’re at it? You buy cups of food and the birds will fly down to perch on your arms and heads. The parrots, in colors ranging from green and yellow to blue and purple and red, show you how they dance and talk. There’s a game you can play with them where you hold up different objects and they’ll tell you what they are and what they’re made of. There’s even a falconry show where the birds swoop out into the audience. At the end of the day, the tour guide makes a joke about lovebirds that you both pretend to ignore.

(BTW, did you know President Andrew Jackson had a parrot that cursed so much it had to be removed from the room during his funeral because it kept swearing? The more you know.)

Where he takes you: Dance class

Mr. Jack Of All Trades, Master Of All over here is definitely going to want to show off. No matter who asked who out first, he wants to reassure you, and himself, that you made the right choice agreeing to go out with him. So he sticks with something he knows best, something he has fun with, and something he can easily introduce you too. Whether it’s a classic ballroom dance, salsa, or classic Scalding Sands folk dancing, Jamil just loves the chance to be close to you. It might be better if you have two left feet so he can show off leading you. By the end, you're both sweaty and exhausted, muscles aching pleasantly, but you're also both laughing and wondering if you should enter a couples dance competition.

Vil:

Where you take him: DIY spa night

Like I said before, you don’t exactly have a lot of extra cash, so I can see you relying on a lot of DIY tricks. You’re hoping to impress one of Twisted Wonderland's biggest triple threats with scented candles (bought half-off at Sam’s), homemade avocado hair masks, coconut oil and honey face masks, and a jade face roller and gua sha set you have no idea how to properly use. Vil definitely appreciates effort, so he’ll love whatever you have set up. He’ll even show you how to actually use that jade roller and gua sha.

Where he takes you: Private movie theater

Let’s be honest, Vil isn’t exactly the most humble person. And you, a magicless student with pretty much no frame of reference for any pop culture or just plain cultural insights in this new world, are in the perfect position for him to show off. Vil would rent out a private theater showing the best and most iconic movies in all of Twisted Wonderland. Of course, he also shows you all of his films (Like I said, not so humble). He may give you the side eye when you insist on sharing a bucket of buttery popcorn, but if you gasp and laugh and applaud in all the right places I don’t think he’ll mind.

Rook:

Where you take him: Art museum

Quelle beaute! No matter what kind of art museum you choose, modern, sculpture, impressionist, classical, whatever, Rook is sure to love it. He’d be the kind of person to carefully read each plaque to discover more about the artist and what inspired their work. He’ll praise each and every piece, only to turn around and compare it to your beauty. While this definitely will get you a few looks from some of the other visitors, you won’t mind because you know he’s being completely sincere with every word. At the end of the day, you’ll probably end up with an art book from the gift shop and you get each other prints of your favorite paintings.

Where he takes you: Zoo

You can take the boy out of the hunt but you can’t take the hunt out of the boy… Or something. We know Rook has a penchant for stalking the poor beastman students at NRC (I bet they have to warn the Savannahclaw first years every year), so I think he would also love admiring animals in a place where you’re actually suppose to watch them. Extra points if there are baby animals. Extra extra points if the zoo has one of those programs where you can go back and get close up encounters with some of the animals, like sloths or elephants. You both definitely get plushies of your favorite animals after.

Epel:

Where you take him: Motorcross

Give the farm boy blood. We know from his dorm uniform vignette that he can ride a blast cycle. Checking out a motorcross race or just a show exhibition would be a high energy outing for you both. Cheering in the stands gives him a chance to cut loose from the stricter rules of decorum in Pomefiore, and sometimes it’s just fun to watch things go fast with a chance of crashing. Maybe you can rent one, or borrow one from Ingenhyde back at NRC, and go for a drive. He’ll probably go a little too fast, maybe from nerves or excitement or just to have to hold him a little tighter.

Where he takes you: Ice skating

Do you know how to skate? Great! He’ll take you out to a frozen lake in the middle of a beautiful forest near Harveston. Some place only the locals know about. It’ll be something right off a Christmas card with glitter snow and a perfect clear blue sky. Don’t know how to skate? That’s fine too! You’ll go to an indoor rink, somewhere where the ice is guaranteed to be smooth and won’t crack under your feet. If you’re just learning, please hold on to him and let him teach you, it’ll make him feel super manly and swell with pride. No matter where you go, you both get hot apple cider after, maybe cuddling together in front of a warm fireplace and sharing a warm quilt.

Idia:

Where you take him: Cat cafe

You’re going to need a good excuse to get Idia out of his room, and this is a pretty good reason. Ideally, you would find a place like Tashirojima, the cat island in Japan, but a good old cat cafe will work just as well. You’ll find the least busy time to go which should help Idia’s social anxiety. But once you both settle into plush low chairs and get surrounded by cute kitties, he won’t even notice anyone else. The cafe sells cute frozen cat treats shaped like cat paws that you buy to encourage the cats to come closer. You snuck in some catnip, and you both spend the day enveloped in cute warm kitty cuddles.

Where he takes you: Video game night

The boy is a nervous wreck around other people on his best days, so when he decides to venture on a date he’s going to go with something he’s most comfortable with. You’ll camp out in his room for the date. He’s gone to great lengths to make it nice, plenty of snacks and soft pillows and blankets. He’ll introduce you to some of his favorite but entry level games first. Maybe something Animal Crossing adjacent, but I have a soft spot for point-and-click adventure puzzle games. Eventually, you’ll end up playing doubles on something more action oriented, Idia showing you all the best tricks and combo moves. (Ortho is secretly taking pictures to show at the wedding he’s already planning for you both.)

Sebek:

Where you take him: Salmon fishing and grill

You like it because it gives a chance to get out in nature and be alone together, he likes it because he gets to catch his favorite food and prove he can be a provider. Sure, it just might be a first date, but Sebek likes to think ahead and he’s definitely taking your budding relationship seriously. You two go out into the woods, probably near where Camp Vargus was held, and set up next to a river. While most of the day is hanging out on the bank and talking, there’s always a jolt of excitement when one of your lines starts to tug and you pull out a beautiful gray and pink salmon. Sure, there was that one time when the fish slapped Sebek with his fin until it slipped from his hands, but you both agree to forget about that (you don’t forget, in fact you think about it often). Around midday, you both realize you’re kind of squeamish when it comes to cleaning fish. Sebek puts on a brave face and cuts them up while you make a campfire. Is it the best meal you’ve ever had? No, definitely not. Are you picking fish bones out of your teeth for the rest of the evening? Yeah. Did you two have a ton of fun and are already planning your next date? Of course.

Where he takes you: Tournament

Does Twisted Wonderland have Renaissance fairs? Who knows, but considering Briar Valley still has knights, they definitely have tournaments. The Bead Brawl is sort of similar to what I’m thinking, but there’s more of a focus on what we would think of as traditional medieval events. Stuff like jousting, sword fighting in full armor, and archery. I don’t think you go all the way to the Briar Valley for this, it’s probably more of a smaller local fair with less serious competition. I think Sebek will be a spectator at this event, but that doesn't stop him from commenting on the participants. He tells you about his own training with Lilia and Silver. He’ll be boastful and loud, but you know him well enough at this point to tell he’s nervous under all the bravado. He wants to make sure you’re having a good time but is too stubborn to actually ask. There are definitely giant turkey legs, homemade soda and mead, and chimney cakes to stuff yourself with. He’ll enter a visitor competition, something fun and light like an obstacle course, and win you a prize. At the end of the day there will be a traditional dance at the fair and you both twirl together under lantern light.

Silver:

Where you take him: Bookstore date

Whether a big chain store or a cute local owned place, the idea is the same. First, you both find the cheesiest romance novel cover in the store. Next, you checked out the cook books, looking for the weirdest and worst sounding recipes (you joke about getting it for Lilia then laugh at the glare he gives you). Finally, you both choose a book for the other that you’ll read then reconvene to talk about at your next date. You find him an adventure book, something you would have called epic fantasy back in your world. He gets you a collection of well known fables and myths from across Twisted Wonderland. He’s slightly worried that you’ll be insulted in his reference to your lack of cultural knowledge of your new world, but you love it, especially the gorgeous illustrations for each story.

Where he takes you: Horse riding along the beach

This can go one of two ways, depending if you know how to ride a horse/are comfortable around them. If you know how to ride, Silver will borrow someone’s horse from the equestrian club for you to ride. If not, you’ll ride behind him, arms hugged around his middle as you cuddle close. Either way, you’ll ride down to one of the beaches along Sage’s Island. You’ll ride along the beach, darting in and out of the waves. Silver will probably have packed a small picnic that you can eat while watching the sunset. He ends up nodding off for a little while you take a break lounging on some dunes, but you kind of like him leaning on your shoulder like that.

Lillia:

Where you take him: Concert in the park

A few steps down from a full on festival, I’m imagining a lush green park, couples and families spread out on blankets, food trucks surrounding everything making the park smell amazing, maybe a couple of craft tents with knick-knacks for sale. There will be a large stage set up for the bands. Lilia prefers heavy metal, but I think he would like any show that plays something high energy. You’ll set up an umbrella to give you both some shade as you watch the acts. Lilia will regale you with tales of his travels and he’d probably love hearing about all the places in your world. At some point, you both definitely spend time dancing ridiculously. Lilia takes plenty of pictures to show off back at Disamonia.

Where he takes you: Esports competition

When Muscle Red told his online bestie Gloomamurai he was trying to come up with ideas for a date, the later said, “I got you,” and set him up with front row seats to the premier esports competition in all of Twisted Wonderland. Arriving at the indoor arena, you get a giant bucket of popcorn to share and Lilia buys you some merch of his favorite team. If you don’t know a ton about esports or the game they’re playing, Lilia will be more than happy to explain the rules to you. You’re surrounded in deafening cheers when your team makes a last minute score to win, hugging each other while jumping up and down. On the way back, Lilia promises to help you set up an account for the online game and teach you the ropes, while trying to remember to thank his friend when you kiss his cheek.

Malleus:

Where you take him: Mini-golfing

You can’t tell me it wouldn’t be adorable to see a giant Malleus hunched over a mini-golf club trying to gently tap the ball into a hole. I can see him at the first hole swinging like a normal golf course, sending the ball twinkling away, Team Rocket style. Mini-golf is a classic first date, and I think he would like the normality of it all. You’re not trying to super impress him, just treating him like a normal boyfriend, a normal date. And it gives you both more time to focus on each other, between desperately trying to hit the ball through the moving fan blades of the windmill hole.

Where he takes you: Historic castle ruins

I can imagine Malleus panicking at first about where to take you for your first official date. Does he bring you to a ball in the Briar Valley? A romantic opera in perfect box seats? Do you start picking out your engagement rings? Instead, he finally decided on an old reliable choice, harking back to how you both first started bonding in the first place. He finds beautiful old ruins, either in Briar Valley or somewhere else, and you just stroll and talk. He’ll tell you about the architecture, maybe the history of the location, pointing out whatever interesting gargoyles he spots. You both understand you don’t need grand gestures or impressive and expensive dates. You’re both happiest being with each other.

Ace

Ace blankly stares ahead, ignoring you once again as you rant about how he just HAS to hold your hand.

He’s flattered really, such a pretty thing like you has taken such a liking to him, but you seem to be lost in your own little world sometimes.

“As my boyfriend it’s only natural-“ “we’re not dating,” pouting, you throw on your best puppy dog eyes.

Ace playfully rolled his eyes, “Oh cmon prefect that’s not gonna work on me.”

Hmph well that didn’t work

Alright then time for plan b

“Hold my hand, NOW!” You shout.

Startled, Ace shakily reaches his hand for yours, before you snatch it and squeeze.

“Gah! It burns!” He whines, gripping onto his arm. Ignoring his protest, you happily wave your interlocked hands, a satisfied smile adorning your face.

“Look everybody! We’re holding hands!” You shout, dragging Ace behind you in the courtyard as onlookers watch you with gazes of confusion and fear.

Idia

“Idiiiaaaaa~” you sang, banging on his door at an ungodly hour in the night. At first you wondered if coming at this time of the night was a good idea, but then you remembered Idia doesn’t really have a solid sleep schedule.

But it’s so quiet, is he ignoring you….? Nah you just gotta bang louder. Said man was currently hiding under his covers, silently begging for the gods to have mercy and hope someone will kick you out. Unfortunately for him, Ignihyde is scared of you.

Eventually he caves and opens his door, and your face practically lights up. “Idia! Oh finally I thought you were going to leave me out here!”

“…what do you want?”

You thrust an object in his hands, “here I need your help with this.” Idia glances down at his hands to see a broken glittery watch. Unimpressed, he glances back up to meet your eyes. “Seriously?” “One hundred percent!” You salute. “You couldn’t have waited till the morning?” “Well I thought about that…” You start, glancing off to the side as you play with your fingers,

“But I just missed you so much! Playing online with you is fun and all but I needed to see you again!”

Feeling his hair heat up, idia looks away. “W-Well you could’ve just asked, no need to bring an excuse,” he mumbled glancing at the watch. “Anyways come on in I’ll fix it for you”

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod you’re gonna hang out with Idia…. In his room! You’re practically foaming at the mouth as you walk in the room and sit down on his bed.

You couldn’t contain the giggles coming out of your mouth as Idia worriedly glances at you from the corner of his eye.

Sighing dreamily, you wonder how this night is going to go. You’re lost in thought, wondering how to get Idia into joining you on the bed before he shoves your newly fixed watch in your hands and throws you out. “Here’s your watch prefect, I’ve fixed it up for you. Goodnight.” He says before the closing the door on you.

Even hermits value their sleep.

You’re left standing there mouth agape before you slowly walk back to ramshackle, a new plan already brewing in your mind.

Mission failed, but don’t worry you’ll get him next time.

Silver

You tap your perfectly manicured nails on your chin as you sit in the courtyard, watching the man who has stolen your heart. Everything about him is perfect. His gorgeous eyes and hair, his smile, that chivalrous personality and those forearms! Ugh he’s perfect.

Groaning you bury your face in your knees. “How am I supposed to go talk to him!?!”

Malleus sits next you, amusedly watching your inner turmoil. “Why not go talk to him child of man? You have expressed your desire to do so to me mutiple times and yet you have not followed through, I am starting to think you’re chickening out as you humans like to say.”

Gasping, you snap your head up. “Chicken??? Oh hornton I am many things but I am no chicken!” You stand up and dust yourself off. “fine I’ll go talk to him.”

Malleus chuckles, “I see no reason to be nervous child of man, silver seems to have taken a liking to you as well.”

The cogs turn in your head as you process his words. Silver likes you? He likes you?! Well uhhh- I mean of course he does! Who doesn’t like you??

With your ego rising to dangerous levels you march over to silver conversing with a few birds near the well.

Clearing your throat to gain his attention, he looks up and gives you a pleasant smile.

“Hello there prefect, did you need something?”

“Yes actually I need you to go on a date with me.” You state matter of factly.

His eyes widen. “A date..?” Nodding you respond, “Yes, with me, at that new cafe in Sage island.”

Clearing his throat he responds “I-I would love to.” You watch as a faint blush dusts his face.

You had that affect on him! Your ego once again shoots through the roof.

“Great! I already made the reservations a while ago so let’s meet up on Friday at 7!”

“When did you do that-“ “Don’t be late!” You hastily interrupt, not wanting to answer that question. Rushing back to malleus you practically scream “He said yes! Ohmygosh malleus you have to help me pick out my outfit! I need something that’ll make him say Oh wow!” “Of course my dear, shall we go now?”

Going on a date with the most dreamy boy at NRC…Oh you hope this isn’t a dream!

Deuce

Vdc practice was more stressful today, with epel lashing out and storming off, deuce following after him.

It’s been awhile since they left. You hoped everything was ok with deuce. Oh and epel too.

Argh I should’ve given vil a piece of mind! Then deuce would’ve fallen for my fearless charm! Your hands slap onto your cheeks while your thoughts spiral.

As time goes on and deuce and epel return, you’re overjoyed! Although that joy doesn’t last long when you find out where they had gone.

“WHYY??” You shout, falling to the ground in despair.

He went on a date with epel? He went on a date with someone that wasn’t you?!

The poor boy was awkwardly watching you spiral right in front of him. He glances towards his group mates behind you for help. Only for them to turn around, seemingly finding the wall so interesting.

Damn

Deuce scratches behind his head, wondering how to console the sobbing mess on the floor (you). “We just uh went to the beach? Nothing happened, we just shouted at the waves..”

That seemed to do the trick

“Oh I knew it!” You spring up. “My plans for our first date aren’t ruined!” “First date? What do you mean by that!?” He sputters.

You ignore him, lost in thought about what date you should go on. Although a Blast cycle date is off the list!

Hmph epel is lucky nothing happened between those two, or he would’ve gone straight into your burn book.

Jack

Recently you’ve been daydreaming,

Now here you two were, alone, in the woods looking for grim. You had roped that poor little beast into your plan, having him get “lost” while you asked jack to help you look for him.

Seeing a tree stump ahead, you figured now was the time to put your plan into action.

“Ouch!” You hissed. Jack looked back, only to see you dramatically fall to ground with the worst acting he had ever seen in his life.

“Oooh my ankle, I think I broke it.” you whined.

“I don’t think you could break it by-“ “OOOH THE PAIN!” You interrupt. “I don’t think I can walk any further, I’ll need somebody to carry me.”

“I think you can-“

“Only a strong 6’3, wolf beast man will be able to help me out of this crisis!”

Jack playfully sighed, knowing you’d only continue to cry on the floor until you got what you wanted.

He walks over and lifts you up in his arms. “You’re lucky I like you prefect.” He states, glancing down at you.

Wait what you bluesceeen.

“What’s the matter prefect? You got what you wanted didn’t you?” He smirks.

Averting your gaze you mumble, “I-uh let’s just keep looking for grim.”

You weren’t expecting him to fluster you!

Sebek

All week you’ve been trying to get sebek to spend more time with you. From studying together, to accidentally bumping into him in the halls.

But you didn’t want to ask to spend more time together! You wanted him to come to you! Although nothing has worked so far… ugh how unfair. Who wouldn’t want to spend time with you!

Fine it seems you have to resort to EXTREME measures you internally groan, walking up to him after class.

“Sebek you aren’t busy after school today right? I was hoping you could teach me how to fight using a sword today,” you start, clasping your hands behind your back and rocking on your feet. You hoped you didn’t look too desperate

“Hmph, you’re lucky I don’t have any training today, I’ll meet you in Diasmonia later.”

Oh look how easy that was

You’ve been practicing outside for quite a bit. Spending time with the knight is always a treat. Getting to stare at his sharp eyes as he focuses on honing his skills, his muscles bulging with each swing- Oh look you fell into the grass and ate shit

“Prefect!” He snapped. “Why ask me to practice sword fighting if you’re not going to pay attention!”

To be honest you didn’t really care for sword training, you could defend yourself just fine, but getting to spend time with Sebek was worth the blood sweat and tears…. Kind of

“Oh I just hate to get my face dirty!” You groan, pouting on the floor. With a heavy sigh, sebek reaches a hand out to you, “Well you’ll get even more dirty sitting on the floor.” with a fast beating heart and warm face you take his hands as he helps you up.

“Come on let’s get you cleaned up-“ He offers, looking back at you only to be met with you staring with a lovesick smile.

Whipping his head back, “Don’t look like that!” He yells. To anyone else he may look mad, but that flushed face tells you otherwise. Smiling, you skip up to him and carefully link your pinky with his. The knight glances at you as you bat your eyelashes at him. Sighing once again, he grabs your hand as you both walk towards Ramshackle. A lovely shade of red coating his cheeks.

Adeuceyuu type of trio to :

This is mostly about my yuu but you can use it for your yuu too. Will you guys interested in some Q/A for my yuu ?

They shared so many clothes with yuu they ended up forgetting what they gave to yuu and what they didn’t

To sneak out to go in ramshackle and have a movie night. Yuu let a window or the door open for them.

Everyone is confused about their relationship. Are they friends? Are they more? Do they know what they are doing is not friendship?

If one person in the trio is missing everyone notices it and gets worried. Did they sacrifice them? Did something happen? No just one of them is sick.

If one person gets sick they will all finish getting sick too. They don’t know personal space.

Go out a lot. The island is big enough to do every type of activity: picnic at the beach, shopping, eating something, etc…

Although all of them care for each other, they will also be the first ones to tease and bully each other.

Even if they can talk about everything, vent, etc… one subject is banned: the “yuu coming home” conversation.

If they can’t see each other, they just video call. Yes, Deuce and Ace are in the same room, and yes, they are still calling on different phones. Save the other guy in their room.

Yuu always get invited to an unbirthday tea party. Till the trio starts to be too loud and annoying. Riddle ends up not letting them invite anyone anymore.

They can’t sit next to each other anymore because, again, they are too loud. I think they are the type to still find a way to communicate even across the room: sign language, reading lips, using their phones, throwing paper, etc…

Got a matching trinkets or something like that. Could be a phone charm, bracelet, t-shirt, etc…

The trio is loved by most of the students but hated by the majority of the teachers.

They send some random pic and say “It’s us” and then it’s just a pic of rocks.

The closet is made of glass for Ace and Deuce (Yuusei already figure out his sexuality long time ago)

During book 5 Deuce had weekly call from his mom were Ace and Yuu could participate and also talk about their week. Ace will snitch the little bad thing Deuce did when in the other hand Yuu will talk about how well behave Deuce is.

TWST Boy Love Languages

What are everyone's top three love languages? (Words of Affirmation; Quality Time; Physical Touch; Acts of Service; Receiving Gifts / Gift Giving) Headcanon list, all characters except Ortho. (I may do one for Ortho and non-NRC characters later) I only know information from the English server story (not including book 7) and events so sorry if anything is terribly out of character. This ended up being structured as 1 - [How he likes to show love], 2 - [How he likes to be shown love], and 3 - [Best of both worlds]. This can be seen as platonic or romantic for all characters.

TWST Masterlist

Riddle

Acts of Service: While Riddle does value capable people, he also likes to show he cares by helping those around him. A good example is in book 2 when he fixes the prefect’s tie for them. It’s not that he believes that the prefect is incapable, they have clearly shown him they are, but he is showing his appreciation by helping with the minor task.

Words of Affirmation: Please tell Riddle you are proud of him. Please tell him he is doing a good job. It’s not like he needs it, but he really wants it. His mother never really praised him for doing well in his studies or extracurriculars, so he appreciates hearing the words.

Quality Time: Riddle clearly didn’t have much time to spend with people he cared about in his childhood. This leads to him really appreciating time spent with people. If he is spending time with you beyond necessity, then you know he cares about you.

Ace

Words of Affirmation: I think we all recognize he shows his love through bullying. He is giving you attention and keeping himself ‘safe’ by making himself look less attached. However, when he gets the nerve to really express how he feels he will do so through words. It feels more solid to him if he is able to say it.

Physical Touch: PLEASE! I mean- what? He doesn’t care about that. It’s not like he really wants to hold the people he cares about in a nice long cuddle or heaven forbid the thought of him being the little spoon. Don’t mind the fact that his hands are almost always on your shoulder or arms. Don’t mind that he has offered to let you sleep on his shoulder or chest multiple times. He’s just kidding! No seriously he wants physical affection please.

Quality Time: He does like hanging out with his friends and the more he cares the more he will want to spend more time with you. He loves playing cards, watching movies, or honestly doing anything together. Especially when he can find an excuse to get closer to you.

Deuce

Acts of Service: He loves doing things for others and taking care of them. Carrying your bags for you, taking you for a ride on a blastcycle, pulling out your chair for you, putting his hand on the table’s edge in order to keep you from bumping your head, I could go on. This not only makes him feel like a gentleman, but it is almost a habit from taking care of his mother.

Quality Time: Spend time with him. He doesn’t care if it is studying, reading, playing games, watching movies, or just sitting and talking. He just likes to be there with you. He enjoys being there for you and he genuinely believes that the best way to spend his days is around the people he cares for.

Physical Touch: Part of his protective nature calls him to hold his friends close metaphorically and physically. He is a big fan of holding a partner while dancing, kisses on hands, and other cheesy physical gestures, but he would try his best to never admit it. That stuff is mostly for romantic relationships, but that doesn’t stop him from holding onto his friends whenever it’s appropriate.

Trey

Acts of Service: He likes doing things for you when you don’t know he’s the one doing them. Putting a blanket over others when they are asleep, leaving a glass of water on the table for you while you study, little things that you almost forget about. However, we have seen he also can be more direct with it, acting as Heartslabyul’s mother hen and making sure that all under his power brush their teeth and take care of themselves.

Quality Time: Want to show Trey you care? Spend time with him, especially when he is baking. He might ask for your help if he really really needs you for a moment, but for the most part he just likes the company. He can do a lot of the baking while not entirely focusing on it, so he likes to listen to you talk or even engage in conversation with you.

Receiving Gifts / Gift Giving: He’s not as big of a fan of baking as he tends to be seen as; he does it largely because he is good at it and it gives him some kind of status within Heartslabyul. However, I do think he genuinely likes baking for those he cares about. He likes the idea of you enjoying something he made with his own two hands. I also think he likes receiving little things from people, especially if they made the items themselves. Little pieces of origami, snacks, notes, and other little things. It warms his heart to know you like doing those things for him.

Cater

Gift Giving: Cater loves getting the people he loves little gifts. It could be a drink or snack from a cafe or just something he thought would be so cute to see you with. He also is a fan of leaving little notes with affirmations or reminders around where he knows the people he cares about will see them. He does it for himself as well, so it’s a piece of cake to make sure you know you are also wonderful.

Words of Affirmation: This kinda goes into the note thing, but mostly he likes to hear what you like about him. Fun and positive comments in person and on his posts basically sustain him. Telling him how much you care about him or telling him how much you liked something he did is the best way to show him you care. He will immediately throw a complement back in response, but that doesn’t mean that he means it any less.

Quality Time: He is the king of mutual doom scrolling. While he prefers to doom scroll with someone looking over his shoulder, he also likes being in the same room with others while on phones independently. He finds it all somewhat intimate, like showing others what is on his For You page is pretty close to completely baring his soul. He also just likes being there in person to see your reactions.

Leona

Physical Touch: He is SUCH a physical touch guy. There might be no way he’d tell you when he likes you, but the signs are there when he suddenly decides your lap looks like a comfy pillow. He is the type to just rest himself on you at random times. He doesn’t really ask, I mean why would he? You should feel honored to be getting so much attention from the second prince. It’s definitely not because he’s clingy with people he cares about (out of a small fear they will leave when they find something better). Definitely not.

Acts of Service: Look, you can’t blame the man for wanting princess treatment. He’s never going to ask for it, but it makes him feel so special when you do things for him. It’s not the same as when Ruggie does it for money. This is genuine care. He values action much more than words, so doing little things for his benefit means much more than any vocal reassurance.

Quality Time: He loves one on one time with people he cares about. You don’t really even need to talk with him. He just likes napping in another’s presence, or simply just sitting in the same room with people he cares about while doing completely independent activities. He just likes the feeling of being there for someone. And someone being there for him. Also if he is there, he can scare off the other herbivores that want to take you away. I mean, who would want to spend time with mutts when you can spend it with a prince, right? RIGHT!?

Ruggie

Acts of Service: Okay so we all know this man is a busy bee. He is always trying to get the most benefit possible, so he’s doing the most work possible. So how does he show he cares? Doing work for little to no compensation. Now I don’t mean anything like servitude, but I mean doing the little things. Plus if someone he really cares about asks him to do something, sevens know he is rushing to do it.

Receiving Gifts: He loves getting things. Give him a snack or some other treat without him having done anything to ‘earn’ it, and he will love it. Call him materialistic, he doesn’t care. I mean, why wouldn’t you give him things if you care about him so much. He deserves it. Besides, it gives him a good excuse to stay if you feed him.

Words of Affirmation: Okay so call him a wimp (or simp). He likes being told that he’s doing good, or that he’s amazing. Plus, it gives him an excuse to ‘pay you back’ by randomly complimenting you. He knows that some people don’t get enough appreciation, and he wants to show the people he cares about that they are worth it. Even if it might be embarrassing to say.

Jack

Acts of Service: Jack likes feeling useful. He loves feeling like he’s doing the right thing by those he cares the most about. He’ll carry heavy things for others, assist with home and housework, and honestly anything he can to show he cares.

Quality Time: He loves spending time with people. He also likes it when you give him attention, so spend plenty of that time talking to and doing things with him. He also enjoys company during his morning jogs and other workouts. Even if you are not working out with him, he likes being able to listen to you. If you don’t mind the sweat. He’s also okay with doing independent activities while existing in the same space, though he prefers being able to hear you.

Words of Affirmation: He has sensitive hearing so hearing the pleasant voice of someone he cares about. Sevens know praise will get his tail wagging, no matter how much he tries to hide it. Even if he is a man of few words, he does like expressing his own care with short and direct compliments on his loved ones character. He rarely compliments looks or other things (even if he thinks you look pretty), preferring to praise personality and achievement.

Azul

Gift Giving: Okay so let's be honest, if he is giving someone something with no strings attached, then he is whipped. He does like feeling useful and giving others what they need. He also likes seeing the people he cares about with items he has given them. Octopi are territorial by nature, so he feels like he has some small claim over people when he sees them wearing or with something he spent his time or money on. It’s a good feeling for him. If not slightly concerning, he can’t help it.

Physical Touch: Okay, hear me out. I feel like he loves getting personal, physical attention from the people he really really cares about. He’d love waking up to a long slow cuddle where no one was in any rush to wake up. He’s very selective with his touch, but he prefers to be the one receiving the affection. He loves getting his hair brushed for him, or having his head pet gently. Do not try touching him casually, it always has to be with his permission or you will be in trouble.

Quality Time: He is one of the boys that just likes existing in the same space as those he cares about. He will be hard at work for the lounge, studying, or some other independent activity and just be happy that you are in the VIP room with him. He also enjoys playing board games with those he cares about. Especially when they get competitive with him. He likes the challenge.

Jade

Acts of Service: He likes doing things for others in general since it makes him valuable to others and it gives him power over the people in his life as well as helps with manipulation. However, helping out of pure care means that he helps with what you need no matter what. Even if you don’t know you need it. He is hyper vigilant in figuring out exactly what you need or want and doing it before you even get the chance to do it yourself. As long as he doesn’t get preoccupied with work or his mushrooms.

Quality Time: PLEASE GO HIKING WITH HIM! Go on a nice walk in the mountains and bear with him while he rants about and picks mushrooms and other mountain flora. He will barely process how much that means to him in the moment, but it will 100% make him blush as he tries to go to sleep later. He has a hard time processing affection at the moment, but that care lingers with him everytime he is not busy or at work.

Receiving Gifts / Gift Giving: Okay so it would totally start with him giving you things he found on his hikes that he already had or couldn’t use in any way. Then it evolves into him giving you hiking gear in order to rope you into his club activities, and eventually he is giving you things casually. He very much appreciates when you give him cool things you see on the trails with him or just little things that make you think of him. If the item is only really present on land, it will make him value the item even more. He’s just so curious about things on land (you included).

Floyd

Physical Touch: Cuteness Aggression! CUTENESS AGGRESSION! He just wants to squeeze you and he can’t help it! It makes it even harder when you are acting cute or innocent/naive. He gets this way with anyone he cares about in any capacity, though he can be trained out of it (though it will make him sad). He doesn’t really care about the time or place, he just wants to lean on you or squeeze you until you pop.

Quality Time: Okay so like, let’s be honest. People don’t really hang around him too long. Some of that is on him, he gets bored or wanders away in order to follow one of his whims. But most of the time it is because he’s a little too much for them. Spend time with him. Don’t try to just use him for his intimidation or size, but genuinely live in the moment and entertain him. He might not say it, but it’ll really affect him.

Words of Affirmation: Okay so this is kinda like how Ace’s love language is bullying. Floyd just loves to get reactions from you. It can be from making fun of you, flustering you, or simply saying something to get you to say “WTF”. He also loves when you say things to him. When you try to get reactions out of him. And he would be lying if he said he didn’t like the attention or praise that comes with it.

Kalim

Gift Giving: Okay so there is a full fic on my page about this, (Kalim's Love Language) so I’ll try and keep it short. He sees gift-giving as natural. He has the resources someone else wants or needs, so he gives it to them. In smaller doses, it’s almost lost its meaning. However, it is when he gives something homemade or he has to try and figure out a gift for someone, it has much more love and affection in it. He values the time and thought it took for him to come up with the gift more than the gift he is giving.

Words of Affirmation: Praise this boy. He is used to praise back home from his siblings, the masses, and from servants. However, he doesn’t have much of that at NRC. He takes it like a champ and he’s ever-so accommodating, but he does love when he gets verbal confirmation he’s doing the right thing. He also loves conversations with others about anything. He also likes to listen. He’ll give out more praise than anyone else, but he really appreciates being praised back.

Acts of Service: He likes doing things for others and he really appreciates when people do things for him. Though the latter is what happens more often than not. However, Kailm is someone you can count on for the little things; like grabbing your things for you, being there to support you when you are nervous, or simply doing whatever he can to assist. (Honestly I think this sort of thing is why Kailm is so confused by Jamil’s hatred and hostility, because he is so used to people doing things for others because they care. So he didn’t understand that Jamil wasn’t doing all those things to show love or care.)

Jamil

(Pls don’t judge me for this one, I do not understand this man in the slightest. I’m trying my best.)

Quality Time: He doesn’t waste time on stuff he doesn’t want or have to do. So if he is genuinely spending time with you with no ulterior motive in mind, then he really does care about you. The only issue is that it is hard to really tell why he is spending time with you. He’s very good at masking his intentions, but if he is spending time around you and not putting up a front, then damn he really must care.

Receiving Gifts: He likes getting things. Especially when they are from the heart. He’s used to Kalim’s flippant, expensive gifts; however getting smaller gifts from people he cares about has a completely different effect on him. Especially when those things help him with his duties or simply make his life easier in little ways.

Acts of Service: To be honest, taking care of others is a habit for him at this point. However, his attitude about it is the main difference. Instead of doing it without thinking or because he feels he has to, he will be actively going out of his way to help out. And if you do the same-! He is obsessed. He doesn't get much capable help with nothing attached to it, so he loves it when you do things to help out.

Vil

Acts of Service: Vil fusses over people and does everything he can in order to help them strive for perfection. However, he also likes to fuss over people in the more literal sense. He loves spa days, dress-up, and hairdressing. If he really cares about you he will want to do these things for you. While he is attracted to competence and independence, he does also appreciate being able to help. He finds joy in doing the simple things for you, (and he does like being able to dress those he cares about like a doll).

Quality Time: He is a busy guy so time spent with him is very important. He will love letting you tag along to whatever events he can. He also loves doing mundane things with those he cares about. His father was often very busy, leaving him alone for much of his childhood, so it really does matter when people spend time with him. Even if it is just sitting with him while you both do your own jobs. Even if it is in comfortable silence.

Receiving Gifts / Gift Giving: This man gives things out very often. He’ll give clothing, skincare, perfumes, ect. Most of the time it is in order to make himself look better, sometimes it is to help his ‘projects’, ect. But whatever the case, he loves giving things to people he cares about. He also appreciates gifts from the heart. He can get his hands on expensive things that many others couldn’t dream of owning, but he loves when someone makes something for him (Though he won’t accept less than your best). Bake something for him, make him some custom jewelry; whatever your talent is, he will appreciate seeing it or being on the receiving end of it.

Rook

Words of Affirmation: This man sings praises like it’s his job. He says praises so often they might seem dishonest, but he means every word. He praises all accomplishments, and can even tell you what you need improvement with. Though any criticism is definitely constructive. And rest assured, he will praise any improvement or discovery you make. Because to him, it is beautiful.

Quality Time: He loves spending time with those he cares for or wants to observe. So the best way to show him you also care, is to bring him along to whatever you plan to do for the day. Going into town? Let Rook tag along. Studying in the library? Let Rook tag along. Hanging out with his friends? Well he wouldn’t want to intrude, but you can let him watch from afar. <3

Acts of Service: He loves doing things for those he cares about. I mean we saw that in book 6 when he went out of his way to bring Vil his products. He loves seeing beauty and will do anything to help those he loves shine. And Sevens know he will be so grateful for anything you do for him. He sees others' generosity, especially towards him, as one of the most beautiful things around. It’s enough to get him obsessed and curious to see if he’s the only one you do these things for.

Epel

Acts of Service: Epel likes to be useful. He likes to feel manly and strong by opening jars, getting things for others, or simply just defending those he cares for. It’s also somewhat of a habit from living in Harveston. Small, farmer towns where he’s the youngest worker and everyone helps everyone else like their family? Yeah he’s definitely accustomed to helping those he loves. And he’s happy to do it. Why wouldn’t he help those he loves when he’s fully capable and it makes him feel strong.

Physical Touch: He loves the idea of driving someone around on a blastcycle or a broom while they hold onto his waist. He loves the idea of big spooning when cuddling. He loves all that romantic stuff. But he’s not going to initiate it. He hates that he actually likes when Vil or Rook comb through his hair. He needs those physical touches. It’s not that he’s touch-starved by any means. It’s actually kinda because of the opposite reason. He is so used to being fussed over and hugged by family members or neighbors that he feels somewhat of a deficit in physical affection when he moves to NRC. Show him you care by giving him back some of that affection he’ll never admit he’s missing.

Quality Time: He likes spending time with people. That does connect once again to his close-knit upbringing. He is very used to spending a lot of time with others. He’ll do just about anything with people he cares about. While he definitely has things he doesn't like to do, he is willing to do a lot of them as long as they’re with people he really cares about. He also really appreciates when people make that same effort for him. Come to his spelldrive games. Go riding with him. He loves the effort just as much as the time spent.

Idia

Quality Time: He’s a shut in. That much is obvious. He likes gaming in his room where no one can perceive him. However, when he opens his door for someone it means he really cares. Yeah he’ll love playing games with those he cares about, but even just being in the same room as him is his way of showing he cares. He’s another one of those happy to do independent activities while in the room with someone he cares about. However, he will randomly start talking about his games, show, or manga and he will somewhat expect you to listen. (Like my roommate has told me that I do and I am working on that as an individual lol.)

Acts of Service: He likes letting people do things for him. While he does like doing something himself – if you want it done right you have to do it yourself and all that – but the smaller things or the social things he likes having done for him. Go pick up his latest manga for him. Bring him snacks. Do things that help keep him from leaving his room. Or maybe even do things that get him outside while not making it absolutely miserable. He will complain at first, but some part of him will be happy that you care enough to get him to do responsible things.

Receiving Gifts / Gift Giving: He will take notice of your interests. And he will appreciate it when other people do the same. Make him some custom merch for one of his anime or games. Pick up in-store only merchandise for him. He’ll also reciprocate by ordering you merchandise from your favorite franchises (that he likely introduced you too). The price doesn’t really matter to him, the only thing that really matters is if he thinks you’ll want it. He also will buy most media that he wants to introduce you too that you show any interest in. He’ll buy games for your system, manga, or really anything else that the two of you can bond over. Heaven forbid when a gacha game releases a character you both want. He’ll try his best to make sure you both get it.

Malleus

Acts of Service: This man can borderline do anything. Like he can make basically anything happen for those he cares about. While he doesn’t attempt to overstep and lets you do what you need to do, if you ask he will do anything for his child of man. He also does try to occasionally do little things for you to make your life better. He finds out Ramshackle is lacking in any way? It will just be fixed next time you check it. Oh look, the shower you mentioned now has hot water? That’s odd. Huh, those sheets are much softer than you remembered from when you got up this morning. Things like that. He never really lets you know he’s doing these things, he’s just delighted when you notice and you go to tell him how lucky you seem to be.

Quality Time: He loves when you carve out time for him. He loves spending time with you on nighttime walks. He loves stargazing or looking at ruins or mansions adorned with gargoyles. He loves late night walks and being able to do the little things with someone who isn’t bending to his whims or actively peeing their pants. He appreciates being able to spend time being normal. A feeling he can only get from one on one time with his darling child of man.

Words of Affirmation: Let him yap at you. Yap back at him. He loves it. It kinda goes with the blurb about quality time but he just likes listening and talking with you one on one. His favorite thing is nighttime talks while walking or stargazing. He’ll listen to complaints, stories, or really anything about your homelife. But just prepare yourself for him to rant about gargoyles or tell you about him getting some invitation to some sort of event or something. He loves yapping, and he loves the yapper.

Lillia

Physical Touch: He loves teasing, but his favorite method of teasing? Physically. He loves jumping out and scaring those he likes. He loves suddenly appearing and poking people in the small of the back. Or just poking people anywhere. He loves seeing reactions to randomly hugging people. Or suddenly leaning over someone. It’s all in good fun. But you know he really cares when his touch turns soft. When he holds someone gently. Cradling crying faces, brushing hair out with his fingers, or letting someone lay on him. He can be mean with his touches, or he can be sweet. As long as he is showing care through touch.

Quality Time: He feels old. Let’s be honest. He’s gotten to the point of his long life that he values every moment more than ever. While he’s always lived in the moment, he now really treasures every moment like it’ll never happen again. So he wants to spend as many moments with the people he loves. And he has a lot of love to give. Spend time with him. He’ll love every second.

Words of Affirmation: As mentioned before, he loves teasing. He will tease verbally and Sevens know that he will be insulted if you don’t tease him back. Or at least have a fun reaction to the teasing. He also just loves to listen to you or be listened to. He loves hearing and telling stories. He has so much life that he’s lived and he wants to share it with the people he loves.

Silver

Quality Time: Since he falls asleep so often, he really values time spent awake. So he wants to give that time to the people he cares about. It also helps that being active with people can somewhat help him stay awake. He also loves doing lots of things with people. He wants to follow in his father’s footsteps and experience life to the fullest he can. And doing those things with people he cares about? That just makes it all the better.

Physical Touch: Let him sleep on you. Like when he falls asleep, move his head onto your lap. Brush your fingers through his hair. Move him somewhere safe and warm. Hold him close while he rests. Wake him up with gentle touches and soft words. He’ll melt. He loves being cradled almost as much as he loves being strong for others. He’s not weak by any means. However, he loves the opportunity to be weak. He loves the safety of another’s gentle touch. It’s peaceful. Perfect.

Acts of Service: He’s such a caregiver. A big protector. He likes being a safespace or home for those he loves. He shows this by doing things for you. Helping with homework, bringing soup or notes when you are sick, etc. However, he loves when the acts are reciprocated. He loves being helped as much as he loves helping. He’s both a prince and princess (at least stereotype-wise lol). Doing things for him will 100% make him melt. It is so sweet to watch him care and be cared for.

Sebek

Words of Affirmation: So his affection will be yelled at you, so if you aren’t ready for that – don’t let him grow attached. We have all seen how vocal his love for Malleus is. He will verbally build you up, talk about you to others, and defend you. He will work hard to make sure to properly communicate his care to you. You are not allowed to be insecure around him. Any complaint from you will be battled verbally against a man who cannot shut up with his praise. It’s honestly sweet.

Quality Time: He likes spending time around people. People rub off on people. Meaning if he is spending more time around these amazing people, then he will become more like them. Plus, he likes the attention. He likes to know that these people he cares about want him around. Sebek isn’t immune to wanting to be cared about. And spending time with him, wanting him in your life, is how he knows that someone really does care.

Acts of Service: Sebek is a knight. He likes to care for people and be at their beck and call. He loves protecting them at their side. And he’s that same way with people he cares for. He feels duty-bound to them, wanting to be a hero to the people he cares for. However, he would (will be) lying if (when) he says he doesn’t love it when you take care of him. When you protect him. When you serve him as he would serve you. Since he believes that this devotion is one of the best ways to show care on his end, it is endlessly flattering to him to have that same kind of devotion shown to him.

I'm finally officially introducing my Yuu/OC x canon/Yumeship here! (✿◕‿◕) Writing this post took me forever, but I'm super happy with it!

(While Allen isn't me, I'm calling them a Yumeship because he's based on my younger self/me when I first started playing TWST & because the ship gives me a ridiculous amount of comfort!)

Allen x Deuce (aka Spade of Storms) is my ultimate comfort ship and they mean a ton to me.

These two are best friends who become lovers and closely mirror each other. Deuce is the delinquent with rather bad self-control who tries to be a model student, while Allen is a former honor student who's now a very lowkey delinquent with stellar self-control and a mature attitude.

Due to the fact that Allen and Deuce are so similar and yet the opposite of each other, they're able to excellently understand and support the other, and they help each other accept themselves.

Now why exactly are these two perfect for each other? Well...

Deuce:

Allen supports Deuce with all his heart. Instead of believing that someone "as stupid and temperamental" as Deuce could never become an honor student, Allen fully believes in him and encourages him. In comparison to when other people say it, these words actually have an incredibly strong impact on Deuce and are believable to him because he knows that Allen has similar experiences and speaks from them.

Allen doesn't think that Deuce is stupid in the slightest and views him as genuinely smart. To Allen, intelligence isn't determined by grades or academic abilities, but by morals, attitude, logic, and willingness — all of which Deuce has.

Allen doesn't try to change Deuce. Rather than turning Deuce into a full-on honor student and role model, which he isn't by nature, Allen prefers for Deuce to stay true to himself and work towards his goal while not suppressing any aspect of who he is — Allen knows exactly that forcefully becoming someone you naturally aren't would cause more issues than it would fix. In order to assist Deuce with staying true to himself while working towards his desired self, Allen does several things:

Allen lets Deuce be his 100% authentic self when they're together. Deuce tries extremely hard to always be polite and serious in order to maintain his reputation and not resort to old habits, but Allen, being very impulsive and easily angered himself, knows just too well that suppressing one's feelings and true nature isn't the way to go. When they're together, Deuce can openly rant about topics, use insults towards the people who angered him, and show his emotions without having to worry about how others perceive him or about how it might mess up his reputation — Allen would never judge Deuce nor share his secrets with others. This way, Deuce can be himself without restraints while also maintaining the way he wants others to perceive him.

Allen allows Deuce to be a delinquent in a safe, harmless way. If Deuce ever feels like doing something forbidden without breaking rules or staining his reputation, Allen (a very lowkey delinquent) has just the ideas for him. This provides a comfortable space for Deuce to live out his tendencies without falling back into bad habits.

Allen is able to introduce Deuce to a wide range of healthy coping mechanisms that work for him. Allen is a much angrier person than Deuce and is equally impulsive, but has stellar self-control due to the methods he uses, and passes them down to Deuce. As a result, Deuce doesn't feel the need to immediately lash out at others anymore and manages to become calmer and much more mature, taking steps into his desired direction.

Allen helps Deuce channel his "negative traits" into positive/helpful ones. With Allen's assistance, methods, reassuring words and unique view on things, Deuce learns how to use the qualities that he used to hate about himself to his advantage. Suddenly Deuce's anger is no longer a hindrance, but a source of energy and motivation.

Allen admires the things Deuce hates about himself. While Deuce wishes he wasn't as hot-headed, Allen views it as an amazing trait and sees the passion and longing for justice behind Deuce's fiery attitude. Additionally, Allen is able to help Deuce see the positive side of these traits, and aids him in channelling them into something good to use to his advantage (see above).

Allen is the only person to fully get through to Deuce. Due to them essentially having the same experiences, opinions, wishes and morals, Deuce felt comfortable trusting Allen with every last bit of his heart (in comparison to other friends) — not to mention that the way Allen was able to help Deuce so intensely and actually talked to him the way he needed it also played a role! Allen has his way with words and knew exactly how to talk to Deuce from the beginning.

Deuce can genuinely open up about his self-esteem to Allen. It's been heavily hinted at in the game several times that Deuce thinks incredibly lowly of himself, but this topic is usually cut short and he doesn't talk about it further with the canon Yuu. With Allen, however, Deuce can open up all he wants to. He knows that Allen has similar experiences and struggles with self-worth related issues himself, therefore not only not judging Deuce, but also fully understanding him.

Allen perfectly understands Deuce's past. Having been feared, avoided and known to be a delinquent/bad kid himself, Allen even understands the details extremely well. Neither of the two ever had a proper friend until they met each other on their first day at NRC.

Allen successfully helps Deuce with his studies despite hating school. Seeing how Deuce needs help, Allen (the "gifted kid") gladly volunteers, even though he's no longer interested in class and has sworn to drop the "honor student" facade himself. Due to Allen's easy explanations, methods, photographic memory and capability to catch on quickly, Deuce actually manages to improve his test results by 1-2 grades.

Allen's study methods are unique, which helps Deuce & is necessary for him. Being a slow learner (I also hc him to have some sort of intellectual disability), Deuce requires rather unique approaches to topics. As Allen is well-versed with both studying and psychology and also keeps Deuce's exact issues in mind, he's able to perfectly tailor methods and mnemonic bridges that actually work out for Deuce.

Allen makes sure that Deuce's desire to be a model student is & stays healthy. A fair part of Allen's trauma stems from being an honor student himself and having unrealistically high expectations regarding grades and attitude shoved down his throat by everyone at school (including himself), so he pays a lot of attention that the same doesn't happen to Deuce.

Allen respects Deuce a ton. Not only is Deuce determined, passionate, loyal, honest and eager, but he has the same core values as Allen, too. In Allen's opinion, finding someone with these traits is not only rare, but immediately makes them endearing to him.

Allen is patient with Deuce. He understands that Deuce occasionally has a difficult time processing and understanding things, and he isn't bothered by it in the slightest. This means even more when you consider that Allen is generally a very impatient person and is only able to be patient with those he truly loves and trusts.

Allen fills Deuce in when he doesn't understand something. Due to Allen being able to catch on extremely quickly, he can immediately explain things and situations to Deuce, helping him out and allowing him to get everything right from the beginning.

Allen indirectly protects Deuce. Known for being intimidating (in a good way), quick-witted, sly and a skilled schemer, most people — including those who enjoy picking on Deuce — shy away from Allen and avoid getting in trouble with his friends.

Allen stops Deuce from getting into fights. Whenever Deuce is about to get into a fight anyway, Allen gently but sternly reminds him of both his goal and the healthier coping mechanisms.

Allen understands that Deuce dislikes being picked on. Allen, being a sensitive person, hates it himself, and he actively tells off everyone who dares to make fun of Deuce or call him "Loosey Deucey". At times, Allen even gets snappy because of the inappropriate nicknames or insults directed at Deuce.

Allen inspires Deuce. Him being skilled at a variety of things and just logical in general gives Deuce the motivation to achieve the same. Deuce doesn't compare himself to Allen, either, and views him as an inspiration. If Allen can control himself and get positive things out of his negative traits, so can Deuce, right?! Not to mention that Allen is extremely tough and pulls through no matter what despite his mental and physical state...

Allen's maturity subconsciously wears off on Deuce. Even outside of the fact that Allen helps him grow and improve a lot through all the ways mentioned before, Deuce sometimes also subconsciously copies his boyfriend's mature attitude or asks himself what Allen would do in certain situations.

Allen is an advisor to Deuce. Deuce struggles with planning ahead, and Allen — a big-time overthinker who's extremely competent at scheming — is able to assist him. As a result, Deuce makes less bad decisions.

Allen loves blastcycles. Deuce can rant about them to Allen for hours, and the two often go on blastcycle dates together. Nothing is more fun than clinging onto your partner while driving at full speed!

Allen values Deuce's company like no other. Deuce regularly feels like a nobody, and Allen takes that feeling from him due to how much he connects with him and likes having him around.

BONUS: Allen is not only beautiful but also has an incredibly strong personality, drive, and determination and hasn't given up despite everything that happened to him. Deuce is a massive simp and his humongous crush on Allen has always been obvious due to how Deuce just can't shut up about him.

Allen:

Deuce loves and accepts Allen's body. As we have seen through his interactions with Azul and Epel, Deuce is very protective of people who don't fit the norm, and Allen is another such person — an intersex boy who was bullied for his unconventional body. Deuce has not only sworn to protect Allen from any possible discrimination, but also loves his body dearly and thinks he's super hot.

Deuce gives Allen a sense of stability. Allen's life was all about short-lived fake joys and prevailing negativity prior to coming to Twisted Wonderland, which made him feel disconnected from many things and people and gave him the feeling that everything is temporary anyway. However, Deuce's fierce loyalty and the strength of their relationship prove Allen wrong — yes, there can indeed be things in life that last forever.

Deuce's utter affection warms Allen's empty heart. Allen was never loved by anyone but his parents, who he thinks only love him because he's their son. Other than that, he never experienced love, affection, ... or even mere friendship. He was alone... until he met Deuce, who he somehow immediately connected with. It was as if their friendship was predestined by the universe... and with every day, Deuce's affection for Allen only grew.

Deuce genuinely admires Allen. Seeing how Allen always does his best, works hard, has ambitions and aims to improve impresses Deuce a ton. This is extremely healing for Allen, whose efforts were never properly recognized or rewarded before and who thinks that he needs to perfect at everything in order to be "someone".

Deuce makes Allen feel useful and resourceful. Allen often believes that he has no worth and could never make a change for the better no matter how much he tries, but seeing just how much he's able to help Deuce with a wide range of things proves Allen wrong — he's indeed capable of a lot of things. Not to mention that Deuce even passes some of Allen's tips down to Epel!

Deuce's honesty is refreshing to Allen. After being lied to and tricked by about anyone Allen ever knew before coming to Twisted Wonderland, Deuce's natural honesty and loyalty are an unfamiliar but utterly wonderful experience for Allen.

Deuce makes Allen feel understood. Allen often believes that others would view him as a monster if they were aware of his secret anger and opinions, but Deuce shares many of them. These two can openly talk about their values together and Allen feels extremely understood because of it — a feeling he barely ever experiences with other people.

Deuce helps Allen enjoy the moment. While he has some overthinking tendencies himself, Deuce is much more spontaneous than Allen and tends to act more on impulse. As a result, he can show his ways to Allen, allowing the overthinker to finally relax and think about his problems a little less.

Deuce doesn't hesitate to stand up for Allen. The fact that Allen was bullied for something he can't change in the past saddens and angers Deuce, and he has sworn to himself that he'll always protect his boyfriend. If there should ever be another situation where Allen gets bullied, Deuce won't hesitate to absolutely throw hands — this is not being a bad person and picking fights, it's standing up for an innocent person whose life was ruined by malice. Deuce wouldn't regret it in the slightest anymore, especially since Allen has helped him learn than anger isn't a bad thing.

Deuce helps Allen with becoming a proper mage. When Allen first gains magic during the final quarter of the school year, he has absolutely no control over it and is partially even avoided due to being a "walking health hazard". Deuce, however, sees this as the perfect time to pay Allen back for helping him study theory and decides to assist Allen with practical things. Through Deuce's determination and belief in him, Allen is able to improve much quicker than he would've without Deuce's help.

BONUS: Deuce is the warmth and honesty that Allen needs in his life. The boy's mere presence lights up Allen's day and Deuce's careful physical affection makes him feel like the most cherished person in the universe.

What else is there to them? (examples)

Both are extremely close with their families.

Due to being so similar and sharing many personality traits, loving each other so deeply allowed them to realize that they can easily love and accept themselves, too.

Deuce's previous incarnation had a crush on Allen's, who died way too early. In this life, the regrets of the past are being fixed.

Allen's the brain, Deuce is the brawn.

They're both extremely cuddly with each other.

First years and how they ended up at Ramshackle (Heartslabyul 2/2)

Deuce

"Deuce how did you guys get through Riddle's Overblot?" "If it wasn't for my upperclassmen I'd be dead."

if Deuce was asked why he sleeps over at Ramshackle so often he would say it's to keep an eye on Ace. that wasn't far from the original truth from when Trey slipped him the permission slip

But after watching someone who by all definitions of the word was the ideal honor student

someone who he hoped to help him on his path to becoming an honor student attempt to murder his friends and slaughter clones of his upperclassmen he can't help but wonder how the rest of his days are NRC will go

when he catches Ace waking up in the middle of the night to stretch his neck or grasp his side would Ace have been skewered if Trey was a moment too late, would he have died if Cater's clone wasn't there, what if it was Cater himself

when he notices the eyebags that drag on Yuu's face even as they forgive Riddle he acts quickly

it is Deuce who asks to sleep over first after the overblot, saying he needs help studying, he doesn't mention his own nightmares of being surrounded by dead clones nor does he bring up Ace's sleepless night or the eyebags on Yuu's face, he is an NRC student after all

he knows he is not the smartest, he knows his faults more than anyone else but caring for his fellow first years is not one of them

honestly i think out of our trio deuce is the one who is always looking out for others, he is the one who checks on ace after he is kicked out, he is the one who stands up to riddle with ace, he is the one who even comforts azul directly after his overblot, he is the one who worries about epel unprompted. so it felt fitting to have his reason to sleepover at ramshackle to be other people Ace / Deuce / Jack / Epel

You hobbled into class with bleary vision, wanting nothing more than to go right back to Ramshackle and fall asleep.

"Dang, look at those dark circles!" Ace whistled in admiration. "What kept you up all night?"

"Drums," you said plainly. You tried to throw your bookbag onto the lecture hall table. It slid across the surface and fell to the ground on the other side of the table. You didn't care.

Ace was kind enough to grab it for you despite his overflowing curiosity. "Drums? What's that mean?"

You took a deep breath. You needed oxygen in your brain. "It means someone gave Grim a miniature drum set and he played it all night."

"Ooooh." The two Heartslabyul students gawked in unison.

"That does sound awful," Deuce remarked. "Any idea who?"

"No." You grunted through gritted teeth and clenched your fist. "But when I find them..."

Several classrooms over, Kalim sneezed over his cauldron. He managed to turn at the last second and avoided contaminating the potion within.

"Ah! Is someone badmouthing me?" he mused. "I heard you sneeze when people talk behind your back."

"Don't be ridiculous." Jamil was ready with a fresh pocket tissue that he thrust towards Kalim. "I told you to put the gold dust in more carefully. Half of it wound up in the air, and you probably inhaled it."

"Haha!" Kalim felt reassured that he had done no wrong. "What a relief."

You know like NRC is hosting a ball and they're waiting for her and then she enters wearing a ballgown and all eyes are on her because she looks so beautiful? If that's alright?

Magic Moment

I’m doing wonderfully, thank you for asking! This ask is super cute and I’d happily answer more like it!

CW/ Fem! Reader, fluff, shyness, nervousness, average Sebek behavior (he’s my favorite), MR. TREIN BEING A BETTER ADOPTIVE FATHER THAN CROWLEY, I tried to leave the dress details vague, but the general ballgown shape is mentioned

The bustling sounds of the Ball were ringing through your ears as you slowly walked through the hall into the ballroom, your wide ball flowing behind you. Grim had already shot past and went straight for the buffet, which was expected but did nothing to stop your nervous mind.

Suddenly you felt a comforting presence beside you, and you turned around to see Professor Trein, wearing robes with a bit more formal flair.

"I can assure you that they won’t bite; those boys are rambunctious, but they have a certain level of decorum."

He had a rather comforting smile on his face, which you mirrored as a surge of confidence went through you.

"Thank you, Professor."

He nodded slightly as you turned on a heel, holding your head up higher with a small smile on your face.

The great doors opened with a small creek as you stepped onto the main staircase, the bustling crowd flitting throughout the ballroom as you stood at the helm of the stairs.

All eyes were on you, and the crowd seemed to shush a little as you glided down the stairs. The flowing dress made you seem like you were floating. As you stepped onto the main floor, the sensations hit slowly; the sweet smells of the chocolate fountain and the gentle viola and cello melodies set a soft mood.

However, all of the decadence was put to shame when you saw a familiar face waiting for you.

Ace

He had to cram himself through a crowd of eager boys, all wanting what he did, the first dance of the night with you

Ace’s usual smug grin feels a little shaky, just like his hands as they grasp onto yours

“You wouldn’t mind if we danced, would you?”

His voice is almost nervous as he takes in the sight of you, your beauty and how lucky he is to call himself yours

he guides you to the center of the ballroom, as the lights dim slightly and the music becomes romantically fast paced and delicate

His hands clasp at your waist gently as the two of you begin stepping in matching order

Your gorgeous dress flutters on the ballroom floor as Ace twirls you to the music

After the two of you danced till your legs were sore, you wander off by the gardens

“I feel like I’ve been a little quiet tonight, don’t get too used to it, okay?”

Ace’s usual quips become a little gentler, you can tell he really wants you to have a nice time, and also because he wants you to think well enough of him to spend more time together

He’ll take any chance he gets to prove himself to you

The night ends with a kiss on the cheek as his face turns redder than his hair

Deuce

Through the bustling ballroom, Deuce used all his track skills to get to you as fast as he could before someone else could woo you away

“P-please let me have a dance with you!”

You guide him to the dance floor as the music gets slow and soft, his hands still against your waist as his heart beats normally again

This sweet boy is trying desperately to remain respectful in front of a lady, especially one as special as you

as the two of you twirl through the night, his gaze never left yours, you felt yourself fall deeper in love with the boy in front of you

Deuce guides you off to get some light refreshments when the two of you seem tuckered out, and the two of you exchange pleasantries as the party dissipated

He walked you home after the Ball, dutifully watching for anything that could cause you harm until you stepped onto the Ramshackle grounds

You kiss him on the cheek and wish him farewell, as you walk back into your dorm to a chorus of cheering ghosts

"....A kiss...? Wow...."

Epel

Epel’s eyes met yours as fireworks seemingly erupt in his head

he rushed (undignified in Vil’s opinion) to you and softly grasped your gloved hand between two of his own

He presses a kiss to your glove as he confidently raises his voice

“Can I dance with you? I’ll be a good partner!”

(You swear you can see steam come out of Vil's ears at his abrupt question)

as Epel dances with you, he makes sure to keep the mood light and fun with a couple jokes and jabs at the professors expenses

his movements are quick as he guides the dance, but he makes sure to keep at a similar tempo to you so you don't look strange

the two of you are definitely the 'it couple' at the Ball, with your looks and attire

Epel gets bored of the attention quite quickly, and the two of you end the night somewhere quieter, like the calm balcony of the ballroom

he tells you stories of the perilous prep Vil and Rook made him do before the dancing, how hard it was to learn the old style of waltz they preferred

"It was horrible, but I guess it was all worth it, seeing how much fun you had and everything..."

The two of you part ways when Vil sweeps him away for pictures, but he promises to dance with you again when the chance arrives

Jack

His breath hitches in his throat as he sees you, his pace quick as he walks up to you with a mildly dazed expression

“Um, could I dance with you? If it’s alright with you of course…”

As the music softens, Jack becomes painfully aware of how soft and beautiful you are, and decides to treat you like a piece of glass

his hands hover, and his red face is tucked into your shoulder as the slow dancing begins

the closeness between the two of you is tender and kind, and he eventually loosens up a little as the pace of the cello gets steadily quicker

Jack's radiant smile as the two of you dance together is so perfectly domestic, you begin to ignore everything else

the two of you focus on only one another, and he loves hearing your soft laughter as he spins you in the air

since our wolf is one strong boy, he'll adore spinning and lifting you in your long luscious ballgown

"Hold on to my shoulders, I'll lift you up."

the night ends with him escorting you back to Ramshackle, his hand in yours as he grows more comfortable with physical affection

however, when you press a kiss to his cheek, Jack flusters again and rubs the back of his neck

"You look really beautiful tonight, and I had a really nice time dancing with you."

Sebek

A startled gasp catches in Sebek’s throat as Lilia pushes him to the front of the crowd and presents him to you

“Human! May I please have the honor of being your first dance partner tonight?”

the music is a lively tempo, Sebek looks straight ahead with perfect posture, dancing as if it means life or death

His serious demeanor is a little funny at first, but breaks pretty easily when he realizes how romantic the moment is

He calms down and acts more down to earth for the rest of the night, something that is truly a rare sight

His grip on your waist loosens a little bit as he hears the music slowly descend into a lower volume

Sebek sighs a little as he checks the time, knowing that the two of you have been dancing for hours

he strongly suggests that the two of you spend some time away from the commotion of the party (ironic coming from the loudest thing in the room)

You two spend an hour walking through the ornate halls of the ballroom, with him excitedly boasting about how the ballrooms in the Valley of Thorns far exceed the one you're in

"Perhaps, I may accompany you to the next big occasion..."

Sebek walks you back home slowly, trying to preserve some sweet time with you until you must part for the night

As you step onto the stairs to bid him farewell, you press a kiss onto his cheek, and he blushes a stark red; his mouth opens to speak but no words come out

for once in his life, Sebek is completely speechless.

The cool night air that filters through the cracked windows of Ramshackle house serves to calm you down after a long night of dancing and socializing. You laid on the dusty couch, still clad in your oversized ballgown, sparkling in the dim candlelight.

Grim was asleep beside you, his warm fluffy fur pressed against your arm, and his gentle purring made your painted eyelids flutter with tiredness.

You thought back at the unforgettable night, dancing in his arms was a memory to cherish forever.

As you shook your arm to try and remove Grim, you realized he wouldn't budge, succumbing to your fate, you smiled and closed your eyes.

A wonderful ending to a wonderful night.
