The effects of electrolyte pH, potential scan rate, electrode reproducibility, and selectivity were investigated. Furthermore, for the stability test, the chronoamperometry technique was performed, and the results demonstrated that the electrode has excellent stability. This electrode provides a low detection limit of 68 nM and a wide linear range from 0.1 to 1000 µM. For real sample analysis, measurements were successfully conducted on a dopamine ampule as a cardiovascular drug. This nanosensor takes advantage of a simple and rapid fabrication process at a low cost.

Simultaneous Determination of Camylofin Dihydrochloride and Paracetamol Using Differential Pulse Voltammetry in Micellar Media | Chapter 11 | New Insights on Chemical Research Vol. 1
Simple and sensitive differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) method has been developed for simultaneous determination of camylofin-2HCl and paracetamol. The electrochemical oxidation of camylofin was studied at carbon paste electrode using cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry. A reproducible and reliable oxidation current peak was obtained at pH 7. The oxidation current was enhanced in presence of sodium dodecylsulphate as an erosion reagent. Under optimal conditions the oxidation current was proportional to camylofin concentration in the range from 5.0 to 100.0 µM. Besides, the method was linear for paracetamol which is an active ingredient in the concentration range from 5.0 to 1000.0 µM. The proposed DPV method was selective for simultaneous determination of the two drugs with mean recovery of 99.58±2.13% and 99.44±0.57% for camylofin-2HCl and paracetamol, respectively. The method was validated according to ICH guidelines and successfully applied for the determination of the two drugs in combined pharmaceutical formulations.

Biosensors, Vol. 12, Pages 1180: A Simple Label-Free #aptamer-Based Electrochemical Biosensor for the Sensitive Detection of C-Reactive Proteins
The level of C-reactive protein (CRP) in the human body is closely associated with cardiovascular diseases and inflammation. In this study, a label-free functionalized #aptamer sensor was attached to an electrode trimmed with in-gold nanoparticles and carboxylated graphene oxide (AuNPs/GO-COOH) to achieve sensitive measurements relative to CRP. Gold nanoparticles were selected for this study due to super stability, remarkably high electrical conductivity, and biocompatibility. In addition, carboxylated graphene oxide was utilized to promote the anchorage of inducer molecules and to increase detection accuracies. The sensing signal was recorded using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and it produced a conspicuous peak current obtained at approximately −0.4 V. Furthermore, the adapted sensor manifested a broad linear span from 0.001 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL. The results also demonstrated that this #aptamer sensor had superior stability, specificity, and reproducibility. This #aptamer-based electrochemical sensor has enormous potential in complex application situations with interfering substances. https://www.mdpi.com/2079-6374/12/12/1180?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=tumblr

Drivers
Novel biosensor for monitoring ovarian cancer tumors will promote growth Carcinoma antigen 125 (CA 125) has been identified as a clinical glycoprotein/biomarker for the early detection of ovarian cancer. As a result, accurate carcinoma antigen 125 determination is critical for cancer diagnosis and treatment. To detect the carcinoma antigen 125 biomarker in human plasma samples, a new biosensor was developed. The surface morphology of the electrode was investigated using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was used to investigate the mechanism of nano-ink production. The formation of an antigen-antibody complex was also monitored using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). For detecting the carcinoma antigen 125 biomarker, the designed immunosensor performed well, with excellent specificity and sensitivity. Therefore, based on the results, it is concluded that immunosensor has the potential to be employed in the early detection of ovarian cancer in clinical studies. These all are the novel biosensors which helps the market to grow.

Sensors, Vol. 18, Pages 2035: DNA-Based Sensor for the Detection of an Organophosphorus Pesticide: Profenofos
In this work, we propose an electrochemical DNA aptasensor for the detection of profenofos, an organophosphorus pesticide, based on a competitive format and disposable graphite screen-printed electrodes (GSPEs). A thiol-tethered DNA capture probe, which results to be complementary to the chosen #aptamer sequence, was immobilised on gold nanoparticles/polyaniline composite film-modified electrodes (AuNPs/PANI/GSPE). Different profenofos solutions containing a fixed amount of the biotinylated DNA #aptamer were dropped onto the realized aptasensors. The hybridisation reaction was measured using a streptavidin-alkaline phosphatase enzyme conjugate, which catalyses the hydrolysis of 1-naphthyl -phosphate. The 1-naphtol enzymatic product was detected by means of differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The aptasensor showed itself to work as a signal off sensor, according to the competitive format used. A dose response curve was obtained between 0.10 μM and 10 μM with a detection limit of 0.27 μM. http://bit.ly/2MloJLH #MDPI
