The dino benches are super cute. The angle is a little weird, though. And there's other seating if you're scared of dinosaurs. Looks like there's non-dino flat benches in the back on the right and a raised stone bench / retaining wall area on the left with grass and trees. I'm a little worried that there's no arm rests on any of the seating areas, though. It might be difficult for people with mobility issues to stand back up. Super cute for in front of a dino museum, though! And I totally want one.

“When There Were Dragons”.
This was an experiment for a much bigger project & I couldn’t be happier. It is not a scientifically accurate Allosaurus skull, but it is not intended to be. I carved the skull in relief and then burned the smoke swirls even deeper.
Wood carving, pyrography, watercolor, colored pencil, mica powder, and gouache. May or may not have used the kitchen sink.

Moon the Utahraptor!!!
From this silly au idea XDD
The amber heart that powers Moon came from a collection of fossils from a utahraptor, it and the fossils are full of remnant that give him the ability to transform into his dinosaur form.
Moon is 6ft in this fossil form and 5ft (from floor to head) and 13ft long (from snoot to tail) in his dino form. He is curious, adorable and playful.
He along with Sun run the kids cave, a section of the Freddy's Mega Fossil Park dedicated to entertaining the younger children, with an outdoor playground and a fossil digging activity for the little ones and much more.

Tell me a shroom fact please
a recently-found amber fossil (dating to ~100 million years ago) suggests that dinosaurs ingested psychotropic fungi !!
Tumblr media
in this fossil, we see some of the earliest recorded evidence of grass. atop the grass? a fungal parasite. in comparison with our fungi today, this fungus is most similar to ergot - fungi that grow on rye & produce alkaloids. ergot has been used as a medicine, a poison & a hallucinogen by humans for thousand of years.
"there’s no doubt in my mind that it would have been eaten by sauropod dinosaurs, although we can’t know what exact effect it had on them." - george poinar jr, of the oregon state university's college of science.
the small chance that dinosaurs tripped on psychedelics keeps me going, tbh.
