Wildcards!
Session 1: Shifting shrinks you, jumping grows you
Session 2: Constant Hunger III. You can eat everything, but food restores no hunger (instead increasing the hunger potion effect), and each item gives a different effect. It changed twice more during the session.
Session 3: Immortal snails. Everyone has an immortal snail that chases them down, it can mine, fly, teleport, and it speeds up when further away. Nothing can stop it. (It can also rebound TNT, and it drowns the player if it is drowning itself)
Session 4: Time starts moving extremely slowly then speeds up over the session to being extremely fast.
Session 5: Robots parachute in from the sky to a random player to give them a life series related trivia question. Answering the question right rewards them positive potion effects, weapons, useful items, etc. Answering them wrong results in consequences like making their voice not understandable, the snail returns, they get negative potion effects, etc.
Session 6: All mobs get killed and replaced with a random mob every so often. An increasing amount of passive mobs spawn before as well to increase the overall effect. The mobs can be anything from cows/sheep/pigs all the way to a warden. Evokers no longer drop totems of undying, but wardens do.
Session 7: Everyone has their own/unique superpower that can be activated/deactivated with a hotkey
Deaths From The Wildcards
Session 1: 1 Death (Out of 2)
Session 2: 6 Deaths + 1 Assist (Out of 11)
Session 3: 27 deaths (Out of 37)
Session 4: 0 Deaths (Out of 10)
Session 5: 5 Deaths (Out of 20)
Session 6: 4 Deaths (Out of 12)
Session 7: 11 Deaths (Out of 17) (and an additional 36 for the zombies)

so i randomly started thinking about that 'faceless villain' trope today (i honestly don't know whether that's the official name of it or not but JSJSJ i'm just going to call it that for now) where there is this guy, woman, or nonbinary person likes strictly operates in the shadows and no one has actually seen their face... right?
because they send representatives to places to do their 'business,' but people are still afraid of them BC they seem to have an unduly level of influence on whatever crime system they may be a part of (ex. gotham's underground). and all i can think about is them flourishing in an environment like gotham because — well, the place is known for practically being filled to the brim with corruption and/or crime — buttt there are people that are naturally wary about working with them because they don't even show their face.
so, they basically believe that allows them to have zero accountability, you know? and one person seeks to prove that there is actually no (insert name of faceless villain here) + this could be a fellow villain or a hero, but i like the idea of this faceless villain deciding to take this personally. they would essentially be trying to say they're a 'sham' in a way after all.
and therefore, this villain has this person escorted to their little hideout to show this person that they're real, just out of spite. which is enough to explain exactly why they don't show their face. because imagine being greeted with not a person but like a three-headed human-like god (which i'm thinking they may have because they represent three separate concepts; them as a creator, protector, and destroyer)...
like they would definitely attract some unwanted attention ahahhh, but OFC, it wouldn't actually be that they hide their true identity because they feel ashamed of how they look. i just like the idea of them doing it because they felt like all the gods were afraid of them for something that they hadn't even done yet (perhaps due to a prophecy?? 👀) so they fled to earth. and then, after being taken in by a criminal or two?
they figured they might as well ride the 'high' that is causing chaos as they've been prevented from ever expressing that destructive side of themselves with their fellow god's. but these humans actually encouraged them to familiarize themselves with it + they discovered that they're really good at disrupting the natural order... because reinvention can be such a diabolical motivation for a character IMO buttt i may end up changing that in the future.
though, if you all have made it to this point, thank you for listening to my ted talk about a trickster god with three heads that is awful ❤️ LMAO

honestly id LOve to learn more from su about just the origin of gems. how this ancient civilization began, how the diamonds manifested – was it white diamond who was "born" first? how did she exist in her first few years, and then figure out she could create gems?
I'm incredibly fascinated by the possibilities, especially since in the first few seasons of su we see a bunch of temple ruins of all kinds so like.
did the gems have an actual religion(s)? was it something that existed and then was eradicated as white diamond/the diamonds came into power, or did the diamonds bring about those beliefs as well???????
and the ancient spacecraft tech(?!!!?;!!! ) (from that episode with centipeetle/nephrite) that is still more advanced than modern human technology??
i want to know just how many years of gem "evolution" we're talkin about. hell i dont even need numbers i just rly wanna know how things looked like in the very beginning..... would white diamond/the diamonds even still remember said times...

Ruin and Rising- Chapter 1
Tumblr media
She's so easy to rile up!
One would've guessed she might get better with more practice, but no...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
... and it doesn't get further or used productively in any way.
Alina ~enjoys~ the Apparat's fear... but it will get conveniently blamed on her amplifiers or the sliver of Darkles' power, because our Sankta has to remain The Pure Heroine, and she have totally never been like that before...
Alina knows she can control the Shadows, but a few paragraphs later she notes she can't really control them, because she tried, and of course she ~can't~.
From the first paragraph alone it's obvious they come to her easily, when she's emotional... like the way she and others managed the Cut for example... but working on mastering her emotions- and doesn't she have plenty for that?- doesn't seem to occur to her. Her learning method after two books is still "I tried, I failed, let's go home.*".
*And how relatable could that be, were she described as a former gifted child, who's used to simply "absorbing" knowledge or skills, but as far as we know she's never been good in ANYTHING! What's her "excuse"?!
Tumblr media
SO. MANY. OPPORTUNITIES!!!
Alina has a library full of study material, but it's all boring, and nobody sifts through the information FOR her, so why can't she just run after another mythical creature and kill it instead?!
I won't even start on how could a little of expressed interest earn her support of at least ~some~ Priestguard?!
I don't know, maybe don't view them as a mindless, hostile mass, and see why they chose to follow your myth?!
TALK to people and LISTEN?!
Tumblr media
Where's the determination to change it then?!

What crossover do you think would be the coolest/funniest/saddest for FE3H? ATLA? Sailor Moon? Etc.?
So... This may not be what you're thinking, but I recently had an AU idea (that I probably won't write but I just want to share). Having recently watched the Wild Robot, I had a thought:
Hegemon Edelgard as Roz
Ok, so the story would have to change a fair bit, but essentially, following the events of Azure Moon, it is revealed that Edelgard survived and escaped into the forests of Adrestia. She's not completely transformed - think her more human form in Heroes - and she has to come to terms with this. This transformation has not only altered her body, but she now has new abilities she needs to learn. On top of trying to survive in the wilderness, she also has to process the fact that everyone she knows and ever cared for is dead.
She's alone, in the wild.
Being half beast allows her to understand the other animals, however none of them are especially welcoming to her at first (and she isn't either). On top of that, she has new instincts she needs to fight and is completely lost on what her new motivation should be. (Which is a problem in itself because Edelgard's primary coping mechanism for all of the trauma she's faced in the past is to double down on a big goal - something to keep her mind occupied so she doesn't run the risk of thinking too hard about just how much her heart actually hurts. The old "if I stop and think about this for more than two seconds I'll go insane" trope.)
Then, through a series of events involving having to defend herself from an angry demonic wolf and haphazardly thrown fireballs, she hits an eagle nest. To her horror, she discovers the family has all died - except for a single egg. To stop herself from becoming completely consumed by guilt, she decides to take care of the egg. It hatches soon after, and taking care of an egg turns into taking care of the chick inside.
She meets other animals and forms bonds with them along the way. A solitary raven she saves from a trap, who decides he is in eternal debt to her. A songbird who offers the most advice in how to raise a baby bird. A stag who is always trying to challenge her at first, until he realizes she makes a better friend than competition. A wolf who teaches her how to properly hunt and fend for herself in the wild. A mouse whose kindness outweighs her terror to show comfort to Edelgard when she was obviously on the verge of a breakdown. A badger who takes it upon himself to fight off any predators who may try to harm them, no matter the size difference. A possum who, despite seeming rather lazy, offers a lot of advice about foraging techniques and building comfortable habitats.
It is revealed that the eagle would have been the runt and likely would have died had nature been allowed to take its course. There is still tension when she learns just how her family died, but she realizes that Edelgard did everything possible to make up for it.
Along the way, Edelgard becomes more and more in tune with her wild side, and starts to learn more about what the Hegemon can really do. She can give herself wings, and she and the eagle learn to fly at the same time. Her claws she once thought monstrous now protect the things she cares about. She incorporates her tail into fighting. She uses magic now - magic that is wilder than anything she learned in school and allows her to feel more in touch with the forest. It isn't long before she feels more at home in the woods than she ever did in civilization, and she is happy to let this life be her new one forever.
Until the Agarthans learn she's still alive.
Dimitri and Byleth might have killed Thales, but a new leader took his place and succeeded in evading the King's attempts to snuff them out. Once the Agarthans learned that one of their most powerful weapons was still alive, they tracked her down and captured her (not without a fight, mind you). It then falls on her animal companions to stage a rescue mission, led by the eagle Edelgard saved, who rallies not just the main animals but many of the forest inhabitants as well.
The Agarthans tried to force Edelgard to obey them, going so far as to push her transformation to what Thales had originally envisioned for the Hegemon Husk (I always thought the Hegie we get in the game was still a transition stage, and that the true form of the Hegemon Husk would be like a twisted version of the Immaculate One - or an approximation of what Sothis' dragon form would look like). The eagle finds her while the others are stalling, and thanks to the Power of Love, snaps Edelgard out of her rage state. She then turns on the Agarthans, and succeeds in wiping them out. However, as she kills the leader, he wheezes out that there will always be more, and they won't stop until they have their weapon.
The animals celebrate their victory, but Edelgard can't get the Agarthan's words out of her head. Their forest home sustained heavy damage in the attack, and a number of animals died. Even amongst her main group, the stag had suffered a close call while charging an enemy mage, the badger broke his leg, and the wolf has a permanent scar across her eye. She makes a decision, then.
King Dimitri is in his castle in Faerghus, busy trying to work out a peace deal between Fódlan and Almyra. Suddenly a guard bursts into his study, stating hurriedly that there's some strange forest witch demanding to see the king. Dimitri, exhausted by paperwork, decides to humour this and heads for the audience chamber.
That's when he comes face to face with a ghost - or maybe demon. She wears an old, torn cloak covered in moss and a dress that looks to have come from the forest floor itself. The tips of golden horns peak through the hood of her cloak. A black eagle sits on her shoulder. She offers a cordial bow, revealing hands armed with obsidian claws. "Dimitri," she says in a voice he has heard countless times in his nightmares, "It has been a long time."
"...Edelgard?" he breathes. Goddess... What has become of her?
Edelgard smiled, revealing a glimpse of her fangs. "I come to you today with a proposition," she stated, "How do you feel about finally ridding the shadows of Fódlan of the wretched snakes that dwell there?"

I don’t believe the amount of time someone’s been practicing is the sole or even primary indicator of knowledge, experience or power.
one person can research more and learn more and have the time, space, resources and dedication to practice more in a handful of years than some people get in a decade.
“I’ve been practicing witchcraft for x amount of years” could mean you stayed in one tradition’s bubble for a decade practicing by rote and just recently took up another tradition. it doesn’t mean you know more about witchcraft as a whole than someone whose been practicing for half the time.
the number of initiations you’ve had, illustrious covens you’ve had official membership of, or notable figures you’ve trained under, while certainly valuable, doesn’t directly translate to power or experience either. access to an irl occult community and close proximity to notable figures in the craft (or the time, money and flexibility to uproot your life to move near them) is another resource and a privilege to have access to.
I can guarantee you, there’s probably a little old lady out there in the world somewhere whose never even heard of a coven with more power in her little finger than the Great Magi of the world have in their whole body.

there’s a chance the next bb album is a callback to previous songs and ideals with that drama track and album title clearly riffing the first bb album ‘buster bros generation’ and ichiro and jiro’s new solo titles kinda being in reference to their past songs
so here i am wondering what could saburo’s ’scarlet summer’ mean lol like it’s nothing that pops up in english and if you went the red summer route that brings up some very unsavoury usa history lol. in jp tho, 朱夏 comes from a borrowed chinese philosophy playing off the four seasons and human life. the scarlet summer phase, according to that philosophy, represents the now generation, who are shaping the world with their actions
i think that’s reflected in some way in most songs saburo’s in, but to keep in line with it reflecting a solo, i think new star of all songs puts it most plainly lol

You don't get to tell me what I can and cannot do. You don't have the power to dictate who I am and who I cannot be. I love, embrace, and identify the authority, uniqueness, and beauty of the person I am inside and out. I have discovered my purpose and walk boldly in ordered steps. I see every past season as training and lessons learned. I see every season ahead as an opportunity to apply them. So don't tell me what you see or don't see within me.

Well!
So first, let's clear a common misconception: no, President Abraham Lincoln did not love Black people nor see them as human equals. At best he was centrist about it (though, even his implication that 'exceptional' Black men ought to vote got him assassinated).
"My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do, it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union...I have here stated my purpose according to my view of official duty; and I intend no modification of my oft-expressed personal wish that all men everywhere could be free."
The "freeing of slaves" after the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 was meant to kneecap the economic and military powers of the seceded South. Lettuce stop making a white savior figure out of Lincoln, or thinking that my people's shackles were unchained via anything other than desperate war strategy and extreme violence. Think on that, for a moment.
That being said!
But not everyone in Confederate territory would immediately be free. Even though the Emancipation Proclamation was made effective in 1863, it could not be implemented in places still under Confederate control. As a result, in the westernmost Confederate state of Texas, enslaved people would not be free until much later. Freedom finally came on June 19, 1865, when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that the more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state, were free by executive decree. This day came to be known as "Juneteenth," by the newly freed people in Texas.
Consider going through the Smithsonian website to learn about Juneteenth! Recognize why it's an actual day of freedom, versus July 4th and the independence of a select few.
