Take a boring/ugly piece of clothing and do some diy on it!

Cut it

Dye it

Put patches on it

Put safety pins on it

Sew pop tabs on it

Hell sew random stuff on it

Do tie dye

Bleach dye a design on it

Layers and accessories also go a long way

Let your creative flow baby!! Possibilities are endless!!

finally sat down and acrylic handpainted this in like 2 hours for my battlejacket

Diy doesn't have to be Make A New Jacket From Scratch btw, it can be turning Jacket You Don't Wear into Jacket You DO Wear by adding a simple patch, adding a cool charm to your zipper, or dying it a new color! :) diy is about doing whatever you can do, with what you have, however you feel comfortable.

Don't psyche yourself out of a good thing! It takes time and practice but you can Get There!! what the practiced diy-ers with all the coolest projects don't tell you is they were beginners too once upon a time!

dec 28 2024 new age doom show at grey lab in vancouver bc. Got to scream sing the for the last song which was fun :)! the drummer is eric, my producer whos helping me record my album., hes great at the bottom you can see the patches i made of him that were for sale at the show.

i danced the night away to them as well as doing a life drawing study just like the night before. my practice from the night before helped me get an understanding of the composition and shapes so it was easier :)

my battle vest!

it used to be a jacket, but I rarely wore it because the sleeves were tight, so I cut them off, and ever since then I got really into DIYing! this is what it looks like now after a long and slow process of adding and removing pins, buttons, patches, and spikes.

all the patches on the left side (snake skeleton, longterm health danger sign, biohazard sign) were painted by me!

i am once again back with another thing i made

i was cleaning out my closet n realized i grew out of a pair of jeans i had, so i turned them into skater-esque jorts. got inspired by pinterest to add some spikey things to them and im so happy with how they turned out.

the handstitching of the patches took a while but turns out glueing em down with a glue stick before sewing, makes it a whole lot easier to keep everything in place while you work.

i coincidentally had the perfect fabric for the patches, my bf gave me some cyanoprint fabric he had left over from a project, and it was the perfect colors n fabric for what i had in mind.

cause the fabric is prone to fraying i covered the back with modge podge so its all kept together.

im working on some black cargo shorts i also made from old pants, so ill be posting those soon, once i finish decorating them

hell yeah, i can't wait to sew it on when i stop procrastinating.

i didn't use a stencil just traced the outlines and then freehanded everything

update to that post I made about sketching out a banger emile patch

made the patch

no stencil - acrylic paint on fabric - completely original work/design (to my knowledge at least) - around an hour of work

If you don't get it, it's Emile's death. His last words, and the energy sword being his cause of death - the helmet lying there being a reference to Noble Six's death.

the picture doesn't do it nearly enough justice. Excluding my fallout back patch, this has to be my favorite patch I've created yet.

Made a cute little AJJ patch to fill some empty space on my jacket. It also was fun experimenting with a new stitch!
