>Good catch, Soto. Definitely shouldn’t be any registered that far off the grid. Pretty far south for one of Walsh’s brood, but you never know. Got a description we can run?

Curry, Yi, I don’t think the bastard was after the cooks. Find him.

It was embarrassing how fast it happened. Isaac had always believed he’d put up a fight at least—death before dishonor and all that enforcer talk—but there hadn’t been any warning. No clatter of footsteps rushing up behind him. No ominous chuckles from the darkness of an alley. No hair raised on the back of his neck. Just an arm snaking around it and squeezing. A few moments of pressure on his carotid arteries frosted the world white, then shrunk it down farther and farther away on the other end of a black tunnel. When it returned, it was too late. A fabric gag cut into the corners of Isaac’s lips. Zip ties trussed his hands behind his back, his ankles to each other. Disappointment in himself outweighed panic over finding himself bound in the dark trunk of a car at first. Slowly, though, reality rearranged his priorities.
He would wind up both dinner and a show if he didn’t escape. Okay, okay. He could do this. Focus. Think it through. The subtle hum of an electric engine and gentle bumping and rocking motion meant they were on the move. Trunks had latches to open them from the inside for this kind of situation, didn’t they? He could maybe wriggle around and grope until he found it. Roll out into the road. Hope he wasn’t hit by any vehicles following in that lane. Though, getting turned into an interstate pancake had to be preferable to what awaited at the end of the ride.
He’d just completed Step One—felt the rush of cool wind against his clammy skin, heard the dull roar of its passing—when the car began to lose speed and drift toward the shoulder of the road. Desperation got him as far as up onto his knees before it stopped and time ran out. The crunch of shoes on gravel came around the side. Against the backdrop of the starry sky, the silhouette of the bloodborn loomed over him. None of his features stood out clearly in the gloom of pre-dawn. Except for the eyes. Same color as a tropical sea with the pupil blown wide like a cat’s to hunt in the darkness. He reached into an inner pocket of his jacket.
“I didn’t want to resort to this, but I can already tell you’re trouble.” His voice projected goodwill, giving away only the barest hints of accent around the vowels. Spanish or Portuguese, this close to the Broken Coast.
“Fuck you,” Isaac replied in his own basic, Central States one, muffled by the gag.
A pale glimmer of teeth in the dark as the bloodborn smiled. He pulled his hand from his jacket pocket. Something small and made of glass winked in the starlight. A syringe. The cap was pulled off and tossed to the gravel.
Isaac thrashed, cursed, strained muscles. Fought for his life just like the Coven field guide suggested. It didn’t stop the bloodborn from getting an arm around his neck again while the sting of the needle sank into his bicep and released a rush of something cold into his veins. That done, he threw the syringe aside, calmly reached into the trunk, and wrenched off the escape latch with a jerk of the wrist. He still wore the same crescent sliver of a smile while sealing Isaac back into his lightly upholstered tomb. Fuming became the only remaining option. There’d be plenty of time for it, he suspected; whatever the bastard had injected him with would work even slower for having to be absorbed through muscle. That meant a long ride ahead.
It took what he estimated to be a half hour before the drug slipped into his brain, picking apart the tangled threads of terror, outrage, and despair. They unraveled, fell away. Combined with the gentle hum of the engine and rocking motion of the car it turned his eyelids and limbs to lead.
Isaac Soto rode to his doom not with a roar or whimper but a snore.

INFO ON WHY THE US POSTAL SERVICE IS IN TROUBLE + HOW TO HELP (IF YOU LIVE IN THE US)!! If you don’t live in the US, please share for your US followers!!
CONSOLIDATED INFO INTO IMAGES THAT CAN BE SAVED/SHARED!! click images to read!! (plaintext below the cut) Feel free to repost these anywhere!!
TLDR VERSION:
use resistbot (text RESIST to 50409, OR dm @resistbot on twitter) to call and write your reps
ask your reps to support: HEROES Act, USPS Fairness Act, and Delivering For America Act !!
it only takes a few min!
link to my twitter thread about this
store.usps.com
(sorry the format got messed up when i copypasted)
THE US POSTAL SERVICE IS IN DANGER Why? Here's the main points:
* The USPS has been defunded by Republicans for years in an effort to make it non viable so it can be privatized.  * Notably, the GOP-sponsored "Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act" of 2006 forced the USPS to prepay worker's pensions for the next 75 years. Due to this act alone, the USPS went from running a profit to being billions of dollars in debt. * Lately, the coronavirus pandemic has led even more people than usual to rely on the USPS to ship things. It has become extremely overwhelming for postal workers, and they are not provided PPE. However, Trump cut the USPS from receiving any covid relief. * Here's where it gets even scarier. Postmaster General DeJoy, the first postmaster with 0 postal working experience    * is a huge Trump donor    * holds stock in several private shipping companies, creating a serious Conflict of interest. In other words, it HELPS him to DESTROY the service he is supposed to lead * over the past few months he's been implementing change after change to sabotage the USPS. Here are just a few:    * Shutting down mail-sorting machines so workers must do it by hand.    * Requiring post offices to purposely delay mail    * Requiring letter carriers to leave mail to avoid extra trips.    * Prohibiting overtime pay.    * removing/destroying mail sorting machines in key election cities        * 1. Battleground states (OH, PA, FL, MI, WI, IL)        * 2. NY & Philly: liberal leaning cities in incumbent-targeted states        * 3. Houston: city w/ the highest black pop in TX (4th in US)    * removing/destroying mailboxes * Trump is openly admitting to trying to destroy the USPS to suppress voting and rig the election in his favor. Quote: "Now they need that money in order to make the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots...But if they don’t get those two items that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting...” * FINALLY: Postal Workers have been trying to spread the word that vote-by-mail may not be safe in the upcoming election, due to inevitable Trump sabotage. Instead, they recommend:    * vote early in person    * use a ballot drop box    * drop off your ballot at an election office or polling location    * organize community ballot collection    * *note: some options may not be available in your state so pls check * Request your ballot ASAP!! So... how do we help save the USPS?! The answer: call/write to your reps!!!
HOW TO CALL/WRITE: you can google who your reps are and how to contact them, but the EASIER way is to use resistbot: * text RESIST to 50409, or... * direct message @resistbot on twitter Resistbot will walk you through creating an account if it's your first time! Simply follow the prompts. The bot is very polite and user friendly, honestly it's pretty fun to use Keep calls short, but writing can be longer! Feel free to make it personal! Write about what the USPS means to you/why you need it!! When writing, make sure to write a slightly different message every time and do not copy and paste, or it can be filtered out. when calling: state your name & zip code ex) Hi, my name is  and my zip code is . My callback number is __. I am calling to ask you to please...
CALLING SENATORS: Vote YES/ IN FAVOR OF: * HR 6800: HEROES Act * to get the USPS direly needed funding and PPE * HR 2382/ S.2965: USPS Fairness Act * repeals the requirement that the USPS prepay pensions These two acts have passed the house but not moved in the Senate!! Please urge your senator to vote on them! CALLING YOUR HOUSE REP: * Delivering for America Act(new) * undos Postmaster General Dejoy's harmful changes to USPS operation * just introduced! ask ur rep to support it!! The House has oversight capabilities: Ask them to investigate Postmaster General Dejoy's policies that have been crippling the USPS, and his conflicts of interest owning stock in private mail courier companies: - Delaying mail creating a massive backlog. - Shutting down mail-sorting machines so workers must do it by hand. - Requiring letter carriers to LEAVE MAIL BEHIND to avoid extra trips. - Prohibiting overtime pay.
make saving the post office a NATIONAL PRIORITY! Some reasons we need the USPS voting medication taxes small businesses many areas in the US rely on the USPS to send and receive any mail period we rely on USPS during pandemic elderly, veteran, minority/POC workers postal workers have inadequate covid protection/PPE shipping couriers (UPS, FEDEX, etc) outrageous prices (14$ vs 60$ for shipping small parcel internationally) Feel free to make it personal! Write about what the USPS means to you/why you need it!!
Finally, OTHER WAYS TO HELP (in addition to calling, not in place of!!) * Buy stamps at store.usps.com ! This is the most direct way to donate to them * Support and buy from small businesses/artists who rely on the USPS to ship! (hate to say it but...if the USPS becomes non-viable and many go out of business...please buy from them while you still can )

Twitter Marketing – Use TweetAdder to Automate Your Twitter Business!
OK ... I'm addicted on twitter. I probably did what a lot of you have done: I signed up with twitter some months back ... looked at it ... and said "Now what am I supposed to do with it?" And walked away.
But, then I sat in on a webinar, talking about social networking. About having 100,000 followers on twitter, and how twitter is used to 'introduce' your business, send helpful tips, and then move followers to wherever you want them to go.
So, I went back to twitter, got TweetAdder, and the proverbial lightbulb went off. After 1 week, I now have 1700 followers, and have set up a second account, specifically for local 'Tweeters'
TweetAdder automates almost everything you would want to do with twitter. As I am writing this article, TweetAdder has added 100 followers to my account, and is automatically sending my tweets that I set up last night.
There is a growing number of twitter programs that will do everything you could ever want on twiiter: But TweetAdder is the only one that I have found that will do all of that ... automatically.
For example, there are programs to find people for you to follow. But they will only LIST those people; you have to go through and 'follow' them yourself. TweetAdder allows you to search for people to follow by tweets, their bio, location (zip code, city, state), or even following the followers of specific members. You choose how many you want to follow, click the mouse, and TweetAdder not only finds the people, but it automatically SIGNS YOU UP as a follower. You can set it and walk away.
You can use it to automate your tweets. Prepare your messages all at once, make about 20 of them. Load them into the 'Tweet' submit, and minimize the program Now, automatically, every 40-60 minutes, depending on the setting that YOU set, your 'tweets' go out.
TweetAdder keeps track of your 'Follows', and your' Followers. Your 'Unfollows' are also automated. Select how many you want to unfollow, and TweetAdder takes care of it. Direct Messages can also be sent ... to whatever class of followers you wish .... 'New followers first', 'Random followers', etc.
You can set everything up at once; getting new follows, following new follows, unfollowing, DMs, Tweets, and going to the 'Automation' page, and click ... TweetAdder runs in the background.
There are various programs that will do all of these services, and most of them are free. TweetAdder is $ 55 for one account; up to five accounts can be handled for an additional $ 19. Why would you want extra accounts? I have a general account, which is centered on businesses and internet marketing; I have just started a second account, which will be centered on local tweeters, based on zip code. The affiliate program is great; 50%. Sell 2, and your program is free.
Download the FREE trial today. You get a fully functional program .... no time limit ... no CC needed ... you're limited to 250 followers. This is a great program.
