Fucccckkkkkk it’s happening!!! Hirano is figuring it out! The way he looks for Kagi while playing and the smile on his face is the same from the first chapter with Kagi looking for him and smiling when he sees Hirano!!!!! And Hirano wants Kagi to touch himmmmmmmmm 😭😭😭😭

I also think that by the time Hirano and Kagi get together, Hanzawa will play a big part in sorting out their feelings and pushing each other towards one another. I believe he is currently trying to figure his situation out with his brother so that’s why he’s harsh.

Bring Ichinose and DM in again!!!! And I have to see Ogasawara’s older brother and Hanzawa’s older brother together because EVERYONE in the two households think they are dating as they’ve been friends forever!!!!! Shouuuuuuuuu please

Anyone else really REALLY wanna see the story behind Ichinose and the Dorm RA?

I mean come on!!! Ichinose obviously has a crush on the dorm manager!!! And he seems to like him too!!!!! Shou please!!!!

The more I return to this post, the more I realize I want this so bad. Like Ichinose consistently getting stomach pains due to his entire nature, being dramatic as he is and the DM being cool and laid back and kind of “bad boy” because Ichinose is the worlds biggest flirt, but the DM is secretly always stressed and worried about his charges, especially Ichinose who is always trying to convince him he feels fine despite his stomach tearing itself apart.

Sooo having thoughts. I love Ao design so sm and they're pretty charming the few times we see them. Though I'm kinda concerned on where the author may be taking him and the dorm manager? Like, from what I understand the dorm manager is likely an adult and Ao is still in hs. I hope it ends up just something maybe wholesome and unrequited (obviously on ichinose side) and maybe a more me tor like relationship is focused, but I have trust issues with manga and its sometimes concerning tropes. Idk maybe I'm paranoid, but I find kinda concerning.

gosh though. this event has been SO cute in general! I was wondering who'd get the focus for year 5; I could not be happier that the answer is apparently EVERYBODY. :D all the dorms get their own special songs! so many cute little scenes!!! the lowest of stakes bringing out the highest of pettiness in everyone!!!!!! it's excellent.

(also, because I will make literally anything about my diaboys...I know these events are typically sorta, let's say chronologically unmoored with regards to story. but the further implications that this takes place pre-episode 7/Malleus' Big Existential Crisis, and yet...some of these lines?)

Ichinose was like what Hirano was attempting to be for Kagiura, an older senpai who was looking out for his kouhai. However, it was clear that although they saw each other as friendly, they never really went above and beyond for each other like actual friends.

Ichinose was a friendly, easygoing guy despite his constant stomachache and sickness, and while Hirano felt concern for him, it was to the point of going to the dorm manager about it. And remember, Hirano's a busybody, so the fact that he pulled the same move as he probably would have for Sasaki or Hanzawa speaks volumes about how distant they were as roommates, even if they think of each other fondly. Remember, Hirano literally told the dorm advisir and then had porridge made for Kagiura when he got sick.

While they most likely talked, they never reached the level of closeness to discuss Ichinose's obvious crush on the dorm manager or later, Hirano's struggling with his possible feelings for Kagiura until Ichinose caught them hugging. Once they stopped being roommates, they basically became almost strangers. They never even discussed what they would do when they finish school or had deep conversations, they just got assigned as roommates, decided to be a certain level of friendly to each other, and kept that relationship for the remaining time they interact with each other.

Notice that Ichinose was surprised to see Hirano so relaxed and childlike with Kagiura, which most likely means he never let himself be unguarded with Ichinose. And Hirano was surprised about the dorm manager doing so much for Ichinose, so he never let on what he did for him when he seemed pretty hands-off for the most part. Also, note that when he sees the dynamic of Hirano and Kagiura, Ichinose always talks about how close they are, and I think from what we have seem of Hirano and his former roommate, they aren't that close.

If I had to describe their relationship, it would be like cousins who were sharing the same room at a time. They looked out for each other and became friendly, but once they stopped rooming, that was basically it. They talk when they see each other, but they have their own lives now. Thoughts?

So… originally, I was planning to write a love letter/j individual message for both of you explaining just how amazing you are, how much I adore interacting with you because I find you fun and incredible, and how I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that, YOU, such wonderful people follow what I do and, on top of that, actually like my work. Every time I see your likes and your kind, sweet comments, it fills my heart with so much joy, and I get so emotional.💌💌💌🌹

But I know that if I did that (writing a whole novel about how much I appreciate you), it would end up being so long that I’d need to start a second blog hehe.

So, I hope these little gifts can show you how much I adore you, and even though we don’t interact very often, you hold a special place in my little heart. ❤️💖💖💖💌💌💌

In light of recent developments in twst's story chapters (A.K.A. Book 7.5 WTF) I've decided to finally talk about some ideas for Book 8 that had been plaguing my mind since march😅...

The main idea is how, after Book 7, both Idia and Ortho tried to understand how the hell NRC students managed to defeat 7 OVERBLOTS with ZERO casualties (almost, but Lillia got better), and yet they still haven't managed to beat RSA.

The answer? DORMS.

You see, while NRC is know for its competitive students who can't seem to get along, let alone exist in the same room without starting a fight, there is a sense of camaraderie present in the dorms, the "I'd go to hell for you, but I wish you'd stop going there you IDIOT" type of camaraderie, that is.

I mean, the main reason the dream segment went so well was because they went by dorm order, like, can you imagine if the dream team started the Heartslabyul chapter with Riddle's dream? Aside from whatever Grim and Yuu could tell the others, they wouldn't even know Riddle basically erased his entire life...

Anyway, now that they established this point, they just have to use it for the Interschool Spelldrive team. Which leads to a team comprised of the overblotters (we're praying that their shared experience as overblot victims, dormleaders and whatever they managed to glean from Book 7 will be enough), and a NRC Tribe 2: Overblot Edition.

And that's how Book 8 would include two main plots, with the A plot following Yuu and the first years investigating the mirror, Mickey and the Overblots, and the B plot following the shenanigans of the overblotters and Grim (yes, this would be the first Book that separates Grim and Yuu, assuming Grim will overblot, we need to tackle his abandonment issues).

Hanzawa: Or how you won't stop talking about Hirano? Sasaki: Or how you won't stop talking about everyone's business? Hirano: Or how you won't stop talking about Miyano? Ogasawara: Or how you won't stop talking about your roommate? Miyano again: Or how you won't stop talking about your girlfriend? Ichinose, peeking inside the classroom: Hey!!! Keep it down, I'm trying to study! Also... no one's talking about me, but they should be!

Hirano finally agreed to go on a non-date date, and Kagiura is ecstatic. However, the day of their “date,” Kagiura wakes up sick. He’s scared Hirano wouldnt give him another chance and decides to choke down meds, convincing his roommate he’s fine, he’s just excited for their date.

As the date/ day unfolds, Hirano keeps giving him weird looks and asking if Kagi is okay as the younger tries keeping his energy up and convince Hirano he’s fine. Halfway through the date, Hirano figures it out (maybe Kagi almost passes out or pukes) and scolds the younger, cutting their date short and dragging/ shoving the younger back to their dorm room. Kagiura getting increasingly worse, apologizing over and over, getting emotional when Hirano asks why he was such an idiot! Kagiura almost in tears as he was so excited that Hirano finally agreed to go out with him and didn’t want to ruin it on the off-chance that the older wouldn’t give him another shot. Hirano getting mad but feeling bad because if he knew Kagiura was sick, he would have suggested a different date…

Maybe Hirano saying that if Kagiura wanted to view him as boyfriend material, that meant telling each other when they weren’t feeling well and taking care of each other. Besides, dates were just people spending time together and therefore, by Hirano taking care of Kagiura and them still spending time together, they were still on their date. Hirano being soft after he realized Kagiura thought he wouldn’t give him another chance, sticking next to the younger while he slept, tending to his fever, etc…. Maybe they eat in the room together again 😊😊😊

When my brother was studying theology they mainly shared their dorms with journalism and archeology students, and he told me the archeologists would always be their protection if a fight broke but cause they were all pretty buff. Basically to pass certain classes they needed work experience and no matter what the speciality they'd end up at dig sites. And since it's students nobody would let them do anything besides... the digging. And it's a very demanding task. So they were all physically capable nerds.

What I'm saying is that before the injuries so jolly frame, there's a non zero chance Layton broke a few jaws they just never let us see that
