In November 2005 some of the finest musicians and artists in the world assembled at the Manchester Opera House to re-create - in full - 'Demon Days', the award-winning album by the animated phenomenon Gorillaz.

Spanning five nights, this was the very first live rendition of the record, as sanctioned by 2D, Murdoc, Russel and Noodle themselves.

This unique event featured guest appearances from Neneh Cherry, Bootie Brown, De La Soul, Ike Turner, Shaun Ryder, Roots Manuva, Martina Topley Bird and pre-recorded contributions from MF Doom, Dennis Hopper and Ibrahim Ferrer.

The entire performance was set to a backdrop of specially designed visuals and animation by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett.

Accompanied by an orchestra, a children's choir, and Manchester Community Gospel choir, the results were breathtaking, an exceptional collaboration of music, film and animation that surpassed all expectations.

And, y'know, it's very likely that the world will probably see nothing like this ever again. Well, almost definitely...at least not in Manchester.

I am not sure why I just recently learned who Stromae is, but I am so glad I am now up on game. He is fabulous. When I saw his concert I immediately thought he was a Gemini lol it's just a vibe but turns out he's actually a Pisces with a Gemini rising and Sagittarius moon! It was in there somewhere haha. This concert is so so good and he just has hella magic in him! You can tell. Loved it. My fave song is 'Alors On Danse' (played near the end). Maybe this is the inspiration I need to go back to French class and keep learning the language haha.

The real reasons: Oh no, he's going to ask me about work and how the monthly report is going. I just got out of a drawing binge yesterday, I need an alcoholic binge because of the number of unopened mail, and somehow all the ink ran out in the tower, and the personnel department forgot to buy a new batch of envelopes to send, and I don't know what's going on in the city right now

To hell with Lurien, who is in love with the Pale King, for him he is the boss who makes him work X)
