🧀Meer dan een ander is de derde single van Van Dik Hout. Het is afkomstig van hun debuut album Van Dik Hout uit september 1994. In Nederland werd de single veel gedraaid op de landelijke radiozenders maar bereikte desondanks de Nederlandse Top 40 op Radio 538 niet. De single bleef drie weken steken in de Tipparade. Wél bereikte de single de 42e positie in de publieke hitlijst Mega Top 50 op Radio 3FM en stond drie weken in deze lijst genoteerd.

🍁More than another is the third single by Van Dik Hout. It comes from their debut album Van Dik Hout from September 1994. In the Netherlands, the single was played a lot on national radio stations but nevertheless did not reach the Dutch Top 40 on Radio 538. The single was stuck in the Tipparade for three weeks. The single did reach the 42nd position in the public hit list Mega Top 50 on Radio 3FM and was listed in this list for three weeks.

🧀Alles kan een mens gelukkig maken is een single van Het Goede Doel met gastzanger René Froger van het album Iedereen is anders uit 1988. Het nummer betekende begin 1989 de definitieve doorbraak voor Froger in de Nederlandse muziekwereld. Het lied is ook bekend onder de officieuze titel Een eigen huis, omdat deze woorden steeds terugkomen als begin van het refrein.

The song marked Froger's definitive breakthrough in the Dutch music world in early 1989. The song is also known by the unofficial title Een eigen huis because these words keep recurring at the beginning of the chorus.

🧀Cornelis Vreeswijk werd in 1937 in IJmuiden geboren. In 1950 verhuisde het gezin naar Stockholm in Zweden. Het gezin remigreerde met dochter Tonny in 1961 naar Nederland, maar Cornelis bleef in Zweden wonen, om daar een carrière op te bouwen. Vreeswijk was geliefd in Zweden, maar ook omstreden. Een aantal van zijn liedjes mocht niet op de radio gedraaid worden, omdat men de teksten aanstootgevend vond. In 1966 werd Vreeswijk door de VARA uitgenodigd naar Nederland te komen. In Nederland is Vreeswijk vooral bekend van liedjes als De nozem en de non, Veronica en Bakker de Baksteen. Zijn bekendheid in Scandinavië is veel groter.

🍁Cornelis Vreeswijk was born in IJmuiden in 1937. In 1950 the family moved to Stockholm in Sweden. The family emigrated to the Netherlands with daughter Tonny in 1961, but Cornelis stayed in Sweden to build a career there. Vreeswijk was popular in Sweden, but also controversial. A number of his songs were not allowed to be played on the radio, because the lyrics were considered offensive. In 1966, Vreeswijk was invited to come to the Netherlands by the VARA. In the Netherlands, Vreeswijk is best known for songs such as De nozem en de non, Veronica and Bakker de Baksteen. He is much more famous in Scandinavia.
