"Don’t find customers for your products, find products for your customers"

So while were executing our interviews, we discovered significant challenges that we all could relate on these problems. We started off by identifying our focus, which we decided are students of CMU. On performing our interviews, we faced a lot of obstacle along the way, mainly because we're pretty much occupied all the time. So to overcome the challenges we have faced, we made ourselves more versatile by being doing what we could do and do more than what we could. So I interviewed what is available to me which are my board-mates composed of 7 people while the rest were interviewed by my groupmates inside the campus or/and in their boarding houses. We asked them if we could interview them and after that we asked "what is the problems you had faced while schooling inside CMU campus?". We did this because we wanted to understand their opinions and gather insights to create product or service in response on it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are the top 3 problem topics we gathered; (1) No Breakfast Almost Everyday, students emphasized that they tend to go class without food in the stomach, which is health concerning if does frequently. Another increasing issue is (2) Trash/Garbage Problems, students highlighted the lack of segregation practices and garbage bins around the campus. Many students are frustrated with (3) The Lack Of Comfort Rooms, it was concern by the many that when there's an event during late night hours, its very hard to occupy a comfort room. There are also raised concern worth to mention; Lack of change in the canteen, Weak data and WIFI signal, Long distance travels between buildings, Lack of drinking water, and No nearby printing services.
After analyzing and tallying the data we gathered, we found out that the issue of no breakfast most of the time garnered enormous amount of concerns. So we decided to choose this problem to be solved and we brainstormed what we could do to eliminate or lessen this problem. By considering a lot of factors and the available resources. We came up of several ideas; making an app where they could order, free delivery foods, virtual food stalls and Etc. And we decided why not do it all?, so the plan to lessen this issue is to make an app where they could order available foods and deliver it door to door or setting up a meeting place. We aim not only to profit but also to help one another to have a win/win situation.
So far on the interview we have done, I was enlightened by the opinions and concerns of our interviewees which I didn't thought is a problem or what I'm trying to point out is I didn't know there were these problems. I also learned that we should hear out the opinions of others. Lastly I believe our plan would work out and if ever we don't succeed then we'll try and try until we succeed.

Our journey with Ecobro towards the final pitching was far from easy. It was filled with sacrifices and misunderstandings within the group. However, we managed to ensure the success of our final pitching presentation. Looking back at our midterm pitching, our performance was not up to par, with many shortcomings and lack of preparation. This realization prompted us to give our all and fill in the gaps during our last pitching.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We collaborated closely to create our prototype and address the questions raised by the panelists in our midterm pitching. We tackled crucial aspects such as proving the money-generating potential of our machine and assessing its feasibility. Despite initial conflicts and differing ideas within the group, we communicated effectively, aligned our goals, and worked together to defend our venture.
Through thorough preparation and increased confidence, we stood ready to defend our project. Despite the challenges, we managed to overcome conflicts, find common ground, and present a united front in showcasing our innovative idea. Our teamwork, dedication, and shared vision propelled us towards a successful final pitch presentation for the Ecobro reverse vending machine venture."

The Entrepreneurial Mind lecture series gave an in-depth discussion about the importance of intellectual property rights, start up ecosystem and its difference between a traditional business. I learned that a traditional business is a business that has already an established market and has proven to be scalable while a start up is a project, may be scalable, and offers a not so obvious solution. The speakers also emphasized the need to protect intellectual properties by having patents to gain exclusive rights over ideas and products.
The Entrepreneurial Mind lecture series delved into the significance of intellectual property rights, the startup ecosystem, and the distinctions between a traditional business and a startup. One key takeaway was the differentiation between a traditional business, which operates in an established market and has demonstrated scalability, and a startup, which is a project with potential scalability and offers innovative solutions that may not be immediately apparent.
The speakers underscored the importance of safeguarding intellectual properties through patents to secure exclusive rights over ideas and products. This protection ensures that the innovative concepts and products developed by startups are shielded from unauthorized use or replication, fostering a competitive edge in the market.
Moreover, the discussion shed light on the startup ecosystem, emphasizing the dynamic and evolving nature of startups compared to traditional businesses. Startups are characterized by their agility, adaptability, and focus on disruptive solutions to address emerging challenges and market gaps. This contrasts with traditional businesses that operate within established frameworks and market structures.
By recognizing the value of intellectual property rights, understanding the nuances between traditional businesses and startups, and navigating the complexities of the startup ecosystem, aspiring entrepreneurs can position themselves strategically to drive innovation, growth, and success in the competitive business landscape.

"Throughout this semester, the Entrepreneurial Mind journey has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Our group, Ecobro, faced numerous challenges from deciding on our venture to the tragic loss of one of our member and a friend of mine due to a vehicular accident, to defending every pitching session. Despite the struggles, we gained invaluable learnings and unforgettable experiences. The sacrifices and stress we endured to excel in this subject while balancing hectic schedules were truly worth it. It exemplifies the quote 'No pain, no gain.' Overall, it was a success – Ecobro performed exceptionally well!"

EcoScentique, The Journey to Success!
Blog by: Aien Mie B. Garcia
Tumblr media
During the past week, the team focused on assigning roles and remained committed to realizing this product. It's imperative that we bring this product to fruition, thus action must be taken promptly. My target market is the students here in Central Mindanao University and as conduct my interview, it shows that they can or will avail the soap-scented candles or air fresheners because it can help freshen the air specially in their rooms.
Initially, the team debated between two options: creating soap-scented candles or producing air fresheners. However, unable to reach a consensus, they sought insights through interviews and surveys to determine the more popular choice in the market. Presently, Option 1, crafting soap-scented candles, has emerged as the preferred product, prompting the team to commence its production.
Over the preceding two weeks, the team has come to appreciate the importance of defined roles and effective communication. It's vital that we execute our assigned tasks diligently and openly communicate any shortcomings or areas necessitating improvement. Given the diverse composition of the team, it's essential to respect each member's contributions and foster constructive dialogue.

Entrepreneurship as General
What is Entrepreneurship?
The course subject known as "Entrepreneurial Mind" is offered to students, imparting valuable lessons about the significance of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is defined as "the act of establishing and operating businesses, while assuming financial risks in the pursuit of profit." Conversely, entrepreneurs are individuals actively involved in this process. They are the ones who create products not just for personal gain but also for the benefit of society as a whole. They can be likened to the backbone of the economy. These individuals derive happiness and a sense of self-fulfillment from their endeavors and possess a strong determination to achieve their goals. They frequently seize any available opportunities and pursue them through various means.
What are the types of Entrepreneurships?
Entrepreneurship can be classified into four main categories: small businesses, mainstream enterprises, growth-oriented ventures, and global operations. According to shopify.com (2022) A small business is characterized by its modest workforce, usually consisting of fewer than 500 employees, and its independent operation, separate from larger corporate entities. Typically, small businesses are privately owned and run by either a single proprietor or a small collective of owners. Mainstream enterprises are businesses that maintain a broad presence across various markets, serving a diverse range of clientele.
On the other hand, the latter two categories, growth and global entrepreneurship, are often referred to as "Technopreneurship." Technopreneurship is characterized by its reliance on science and technology, scalability, and significant economic impact. A prime example is Microsoft, which held the top position as the world's leading technology corporation in 2019. Microsoft is renowned for its cutting-edge innovations and its comprehensive presence in the technology industry, evident in our daily lives. It plays a pivotal role in digital devices such as laptops, computers, and smartphones, continually adapting to the latest technological advancements. However, in 2023, it was surpassed by Alphabet Inc., ranking as the second-largest technology company.
It's worth noting that Microsoft and Alphabet are not the sole players in the global Technopreneurship arena. Many other science and technology-based companies significantly contribute to various aspects of people's lives. In the perspective of an average person, a vast urban area can only be deemed a "city" if it encompasses numerous establishments, not limited to shopping and dining but also incorporating advanced technologies with unique functions and purposes, constantly seeking progress and innovation.
Why is it necessary to provide training in entrepreneurship?
The reason is that, in many cases, graduates may undergo a change of direction or career path. It is entirely possible for someone initially pursuing intrapreneurship to find success by immersing themselves in innovative ideas and practices within their chosen industry. Conversely, an individual might choose to embark on an entrepreneurial journey, where they explore new concepts and innovations and is prepared to take calculated risks.
Engaging in entrepreneurship is a distinct process, setting it apart from other fields of study. It involves taking risks that individuals need to embrace. It is a domain where individuals must be prepared to confront challenges and uncertainties as they navigate their way, continuously adapting to new practices and learning from both weaknesses and strengths they encounter along their chosen path. Moreover, those involved in this field should possess qualities that go beyond a mere understanding of the fundamentals taught; they should also exhibit openness to the fluctuations, feedback, and collaborations that come their way, enabling them to gather additional ideas and seek assistance when needed.

On the Journey to Pitch
During the course of this week, we engaged in a wide range of activities and discussions. However, there was a specific requirement that we needed to fulfill in order to continue with our pitching. Our task was to develop a product or service that not only benefits people but also allows us to generate income. As a group, we initially brainstormed and compiled a list of potential product or service ideas. The compilation consists of various ideas, including a food delivery app that provides access to all the food stalls on campus, an application that offers information about nearby boarding houses near CMU, an automatic traffic light sensor, an electric cup that adjusts its temperature according to the owner's preference, and a booking application that facilitates the transportation services such as motorelas or motorcycles for students and faculty members, where drivers can accept bookings through the app.
Tumblr media
After carefully evaluating and assessing our ideas, we determined that our primary focus should be on creating a product that can make a significant impact on society. Ultimately, we selected a booking application called "PASAKAY," which combines the functionality of both motorelas and motorcycles. The intended users or target market for this app include motorela and motorcycle drivers, students, faculty members, staff, and residents in the Musuan area. Through the application, students, faculty, and staff will be able to conveniently book their transportation, while drivers can accept these bookings directly within the app. We opted for this particular application because, as CMU students, we have personally observed transportation issues on campus. While not everyone may have noticed it, we have observed that students residing in certain areas of Musuan face difficulties in accessing transportation. Additionally, there is limited vehicle availability for certain colleges within CMU, resulting in long waiting times for students. Consequently, some students are left with no alternative but to walk due to the lack of transportation options. That is the reason why we are actively promoting and supporting the development of this application.
During our venture proposal, the most significant recommendation put forth by our group was the importance of conducting market validation and considering the cost of developing the application. Therefore, this week, our focus is on carrying out the market validation process. As part of this, we have formulated a null hypothesis which is as follows:
No1: The motorela and motorcycle drivers are not in favor of the proposed application
No2: The students are reluctant to download and utilize the application due to its high cost
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As part of our market validation process, we conducted interviews with students, motorcycle, and motorela drivers. Before proceeding with the interviews, we obtained their consent and asked if they were willing to answer our questions. We inquired about their possession of a gadget and their willingness to use the proposed application. Their feedback regarding the application was predominantly positive, which served as an encouragement for us to further promote its development.
Additionally, we received valuable input during these interviews. One important aspect we addressed was the exclusion of illegal transport vehicles from using the application. This issue has arisen among our own CMU motorela and motorcycle drivers due to the emergence of unauthorized transportation services. Therefore, in creating this application, we emphasize the principles of fairness and enhanced safety in transportation services.
After completing the market validation process, our team reached the conclusion that we had to “reject the null hypothesis”. The motorela and motorcycle drivers showed great enthusiasm for the proposed application. They expressed their satisfaction and appreciation, as they saw it as an opportunity to enhance their services and keep up with the advancements in technology. Additionally, students demonstrated a willingness to download and use the application, recognizing its potential to provide faster and safer transportation within the campus premises.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During this week, our team made some minor revisions to our revenue plans. Initially, we had considered implementing a commission structure of 10-15% on the total fare and incorporating advertising services. However, upon further reflection, we decided to revise this approach. We realized that including commissions would not take effect in getting a lot of users and having an ads from the start would add to the initial costs of developing our application. As newcomers to the market, it might not be feasible to attract businesses for advertising right away, as they are likely to observe our performance first. Additionally, considering the high cost of application development, we intend to collaborate with IT students and developers to reduce expenses and ensure easier maintenance of our application in the long run.
Throughout our journey this week, I have gained valuable insights. One of the key lessons I learned is the significance of evaluating various factors and conducting market validation prior to developing a product or service. This process allows us to truly understand the challenges faced by our target market, enabling us to develop effective solutions that address their needs.

Introduction to Entrepreneurial Mind - First Blog/Journal
The past meetings involve a series of discussions and group activities which highlighted the topics envisioned for the course GEE 16 -Entrepreneurial Mind. It was a great session that helps us inculcate some exciting ideas from theories to real world scenarios which serves as a streak and a preparation for our upcoming major activity/requirements. As an introduction to the course, it was indeed as relevant as the main task expected for us ahead. The learnings thereat led us to a more insightful and feasible product idea to venture.              Insofar, of the few days we took up for the class, amazing realities were by chance unlocked. The idea that lies between an entrepreneur and a businessman was what struck me most. Throughout, I cannot seem to find any difference between the two, but surprisingly it was not the same. Entrepreneurs as I have recently learned are the so-called innovator which creates the real solution to the consumers common problem. Whereas businessmen are those who trades the existing products and as much as possible delve into strategies that maximizes profit. With the creativity and innovativeness of our world’s entrepreneur’s various product types with considerable uniqueness has come into existence. From our common goods to luxuries, transportations, and communications, and even on our digital world; a lot of ideas has been existing and at times will continue to exist. One similar product exists among others yet the value it perceives was continually enhance by our entrepreneurs by innovating new creations or disrupting qualities and abilities that one product lacks off. As stated by Leon C. Magginson; “It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.” This was tied to another important concept which I had learned during those sessions which was the thing about adaptability and good enough. Undeniably as times grow older, the world grows fonder. Fonder in a way that innovations, creations and even modifications are the patterns of everyday life. There now comes the perfect incorporation of adaptability and good enough.  As entrepreneurs, it is not a good strategy to strive for perfection because too much of it could leave you ahead. It is just right to think that its unique and is good enough to penetrate the market and go with the trend. Along the way, as it thrives, it should grow and be uniquely modified to go through market changes.   Furthermore, what is more important about innovating a product is not just the creative mindset but the logical ways to deliver it. Communicating an idea into reality may be a lot harder but with analytical ways and enough skills it could be more possible.

Entrepreneurial Mind Experience
Kent Jasser L. Durias
If there is two words that comes into my mind when I reminisce the lecture series it is probably the word listen and learn. "Listen" the ability of an individual to hear something with thoughtful attention. "Learn" on the other hand, is to gain or acquire knowledge or skill through listening and experience. In both listening and learning we can all become an entrepreneur; an entrepreneur equiped with the knowledge needed. I am Kent, although I am not ready yet, but I have listened and for sure have learned... A lot.
Engr. Bronson Mabulay, the first speaker in the lecture series, addresses the importance of start-ups in the business ecosystem. Start-ups are the growth catalyst and engine. When innovation and entrepreneurship are combined, a concept can grow into something larger, thus as entrepreneurs, it is beneficial to find government and non-government sectors that can assist our start-ups in terms of investment. Mr. Mabulay highlighted that there are government entities that can assist us in funding our start-ups as well as legalizing and operating the ideas for start-ups.
Furthermore, the second speaker, Mr. Arnel Areglo, emphasizes the importance of having a positive mindset when starting a company. His presentation has helped me visualize the competitiveness of the real corporate world, which is extremely beneficial to me as a student who lacks experience in both the business sector and as an entrepreneur. This lecture emphasizes that "as a response to society's increasing need for entrepreneurs, citizens should be trained to start businesses."
Moreover, the third speaker reinforces the need of intellectual property protection. Because start-ups are new or enhanced concepts of society, it is critical to initially file for patents, copyrights, trademarks, and other rights to ensure that the idea is credited to people who created it. This presentation also highlighted the distribution of commercialization benefits, where it teaches us the numbers on how to divide the economic gains in the commercial exploitation of start-ups as early as today.
In addition, the experience of pitching our own start-up idea to my classmates is somewhat worthwhile. On the demo day, however, the River level detector team did an excellent job of representing the section. I acquired insights and had a good experience listening to other sections' startup ideas.
In conclusion, I have learnt to listen in this experience, and with this experience it provides me knowledge and I hope to apply it anytime soon in the future as a real entrepreneur. I am thankful for a semester filled with fun, learning and experience.

"Navigating the Seas of Venture Proposal and Customer Validation"
By: ECOBRO_LORIE JANE BANTACULO
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"A Venture Forged in Adversity: Our Journey with Ecobro"
It was during our venture proposal where we faced an unexpected whirlwind of challenges. Juggling with multiple subjects, we found ourselves in a time crunch, with little room for thorough preparation. However, the strength of our team shone through as each member stepped up, pooling our collective efforts to bring our idea to life.
Just when we thought we had our hands full, tragedy struck. We lost a dear team member, Caryl, just two days before our proposal. The news was devastating, but we knew we had to move forward. We had to honor Caryl's memory and the hard work she had put into this project. With heavy hearts, we divided the tasks, each taking on the responsibility of creating the PowerPoint presentation and deciding which part to pitch. For me, public speaking was never my strong suit, but I knew I had to step out of my comfort zone for the sake of our team and our venture.
We were the third team to present, and the pressure was palpable. The first two teams had set the bar high, but we were determined to rise to the occasion. Our venture, the Ecobro Reverse Vending Machine, was our brainchild, and we were ready to defend it. Our professor was hesitant, questioning our ability to create a prototype. But we had done our research and were prepared to prove we can possibly make the job done . We presented our plan for the prototype, standing our ground, and defending our venture.
As we concluded our presentation, we couldn't help but smile, knowing that we had successfully defended our proposal. We knew there were areas for improvement, particularly in our pitching skills, but we were proud of what we had achieved under such circumstances. Most importantly, we knew Caryl would have been proud of us. Our journey with Ecobro was not easy, but it was a testament to our resilience, teamwork, and dedication. We faced adversity, but we came out stronger, ready to take on the next challenge. And no matter where our venture takes us, we know we have an angel in heaven, cheering us on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Customer Validation: Insights from Central Mindanao University Students on Ecobro"
After successfully defending our proposal for the Ecobro Reverse Vending Machine, our team was eager to gather feedback and validate our product with potential users. We conducted interviews with 20 students from different courses at Central Mindanao University, aiming to understand their perspectives and gauge their interest in utilizing our innovative solution.
To ensure a diverse sample, we randomly selected students from various courses, representing a range of backgrounds and interests. During the interviews, we introduced the concept of the Ecobro Reverse Vending Machine and asked the students if they would use it or what their thoughts were on the machine.
The responses we received were varied, with some students expressing enthusiasm and support for the idea. They acknowledged the environmental benefits of using the machine, as it would help reduce waste and contribute to a cleaner campus. Additionally, they highlighted the financial incentive, recognizing that they could earn money by depositing bottles into the vending machine.
However, not all students were convinced. Some expressed concerns about the financial aspect of the machine, stating that implementing it would require a significant investment. They questioned the feasibility of earning a profit from bottle deposits and raised doubts about the potential costs involved.
Another group of students had reservations regarding the machine's effectiveness in addressing the broader issue of waste disposal. They pointed out that while the machine may benefit individual students, it may not necessarily solve the overarching problem of waste management. They questioned where the waste would go and how it would be properly disposed of.
Despite these differing opinions, the majority of students expressed their willingness to use the Ecobro Reverse Vending Machine. They recognized its potential benefits for both the environment and themselves. However, it's important to note that some students still had reservations or confusion about certain aspects of the machine.
The insights gathered from these interviews provided valuable feedback for our team. We gained a deeper understanding of the potential challenges and concerns that may arise during the implementation of the Ecobro Reverse Vending Machine. This feedback will help us refine our approach and address any issues or misconceptions that may arise among potential users.
Overall, the customer validation process was an essential step in our venture's development. It allowed us to engage with our target audience, understand their perspectives, and gather valuable insights that will guide us in further improving our product. With this feedback in mind, we are more determined than ever to create a sustainable and user-friendly solution that addresses both environmental concerns and the needs of our users.
Stay tuned for more updates on our journey with Ecobro as we continue to refine our product and work towards making a positive impact on the environment and the community!

Blog #2
FLORIG, JAMIRA KATE C.
Team name: Fitflex
HYPOTHESIS:
People were asked if they want to join and avail the diet/fitness plan through phone application.
Hypotheses Testing
The primary gathering method that we have used to test the validity of the hypothesis was through a survey with the utilization of virtual media. We disseminated the survey into our friends from different places (see Figure 1). In the first trial in the dissemination of the survey we gathered 100 respondents from all in different ages, year, careers and we also included other people from different schools.
The content of the survey was composed of questions that covers the people’s healthy lifestyle during in this pandemic, their frequency of eating and maintaining their lifestyle, if they personally doing some workout and eat healthy foods, their willingness and interest in maintaining their body figure, and their view about the effect of using an app to maintain their physically fit in times of pandemic. (Figure 2a).
The result of the survey demonstrates that the hypothesis can address the concerns and needs of the people since the 100 respondents is concern with their health, 63 out of 100 respondents affirmed that they don't use any diet or fitness app and 93 out of 100 respondents are willingly to use any application to maintain their healthy lifestyle during pandemic. (Figure 2b)
In conclusion, the proposed start-up service was able to address the needs of the people in different places and in relation to their mode of staying healthy and fit during pandemic. We are happy to know that the respondents additionally shared a positive feedback with regards to using the app as means of staying fit during the quarantine in this time of pandemic within their respective homes since we know full well of the struggle in staying our home without doing nothing and that is why we came with this plan to help ourselves stay fit with or without this pandemic
WHAT WAS YOUR TEAMS OPTIONS AND DECISIONS?
The concerns that emerged from the survey were matters that relates to the name of the application program and the feature of the said application. Through the survey that we conducted we were able to identify and decide the name of the app as to what our respondents suggested and we did able to decide the possible features of our fitness application program. We came to develop a plan that will be convenient as well as unique that will go well with the service that we will offer.
The team decided to pursue the proposed service since it guarantees a potential target market and will pave the way to obtaining the needs and concerns of the people.
WHAT ARE THE LESSONS LEARNED BY THE TEAM?
For this second blog, the team learned the significance of voicing our concerns out. We have been more vocal than we have ever been with regards to the decisions we have to make. Working together brought out aspects in each of us that we don’t normally experience when working by ourselves
Also creativity, creativity allowed us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovation. Just like what our other colleague suggested, she came up with the idea to modify our application like we can create their diet plan and their food intake and we can deliver their food for that day personally following the proper health protocols. Also, we planned to provide respective I. D’s for their membership, validation will soon be conducted.

September 18, 2020
It has been 23 days since we started our online class session of GEE16: The Entrepreneurial Mind. Now for this blogs topic, we shall talk about the things that we've discussed with my group about the problems/concerns of people in their own places and community by doing some interviews.
So Hi! I am from Group 6 – Code name Foxtrot. The "hacker of the team". So the Foxtrot team always has their meetings through chat and video calls because unfortunately we can’t get in touch with each other face to face because of this devastating pandemic happening right now on us. From all of our meetings we agreed that each one of us must interview 2 people for this week so that makes 10 because we consist of 5 members and each member should ask questions about “What is the most likely troublesome problem that you’ve been encountering these days?”
I interviewed 2 people. Both of them are teenagers or more likely into the early adulthood age. The (1) first person that I ask about our question answered, “Unstable Electrical Connection”. He’s already 3rd year in college getting his degree in Biology and like us he’s into deep diving in online classes. I’m sure some students going through online class have this kind of problem in their own remote places and communities. I hate to admit it but I am also experiencing this kind of situation here in our place.
Then for the (2) second person that I interviewed answered “Slow internet connection”. Yes it’s not just her experiencing that problem because most likely all of us have the same issues; it’s either very slow internet connection or even no internet connection. Some students even go to other places that has stable internet connections and by doing so, many have already lost their lives by getting into accidents along the way or even do kill themselves because of the pressure and that’s a fact and you can also see it in the news and articles in social media.
Nevertheless, we all gathered our Intel and data that we collected to our respective participants. We connected the dots and we noticed that most of their answers were “The Slow Internet Connection”. Whoever as the Foxtrot team discussed, we get into the point that we realized that it is not our problem to solve but it’s the federal government to make a move and solve this kind of situation because this issue is very huge that it's out of our capability to do so that we can’t solve it. Thus, we can’t do anything about it as it is. So we divert our attention to garbage because some of my co-teammates got an answer about garbage in their areas that there is no proper garbage disposal area.
We brainstormed about how we can solve this problem of garbage. Then finally, as we brainstormed thoroughly, we finally found an answer to solve this annoying problem. The answer that we’ve got is “Making a flower pot that contains shredded garbage most likely plastics”. It’s the solution that we found out in our brainstorming. By recycling the garbage and making it into a very well pot and everyone in our Foxtrot team agreed about it.
Lately pots have been popular and in demand because of this pandemic because many people just suddenly shift into planting plants and flowers and by that they can earn ten folds of their own salaries by just selling their plants in the pots. Some even cost around 10 million for just a single pot plant.
Therefore in conclusion, we thought that this is a very good product to make a deal with because if we talk about our target consumer, we already had that covered hehe. To help minimize and reduce garbage, we shall create a pot that is made out of mixed cement and shredded garbage and to make it more eco-friendly for our mother nature. Hopefully we are expecting that this product project will be successful.
So that would be all for this week! Stay tuned for the next one! Always stay safe and wear those face masks of yours and also don’t forget to always bring your ethanol whenever you go outside! ;)

The idea that has come to our minds is the inconsistency of electricity in Central Mindanao University. We have established the idea because we've noticed that it has been a history already in CMU that everytime midterms and finals are approaching, brown out's or black out's frequently happen. And because of this, we decided to formulate the "Hydro-solar Power".
The target market of the product would be the students and the faculties of different establishments like dormitories, boarding houses and lodges. But our main concern would be the students because these days are one of the most important days in their lives, so they really have to study hard with these examinations. And with that, students should have a good and safe source of light while studying.
The goodness of this product is that this is environmental friendly because the source of energy comes from solar panels and water. And that would make this product much better to use than candles, lamps and flashlights.
Our professor in Entrepreneurial Mind once said "we don't want to create a business or a product or service that no one wants". So we made this for the comfort of our fellow students and teachers. Our team is still discovering things to make this project much better. And with this, we are planning to coordinate with engineering students to make this possible.
