That sounds like a fantastic way to make companies sandbag, fire tons of people, and wreck the economy.
So, standard leftist plan.

As every libertarian will tell you, democracies are very weak. This can be seen by the fact that only 8 out of the 10 strongest militaries and 8 out of the 10 biggest economies in the world are democracies.
We need a strong leader to make us truly prosper, like Russia, where the median annual income is $6400.

The billionaires who have taken control of the U.S. government are alerting us to the self-evident truth that redistributing their financial wealth must become a defining priority of our time. How do we do that?
Here are four global priorities essential to a viable and inclusive human future.
Advance aggressive global tax policies to capture and redistribute the wealth of the world’s billionaires to fund programs that bring up the bottom and heal the Earth. The goal is a global society in which everyone has a fulfilling means of living and no one is positioned to exploit others.
Replace profit-maximizing corporations with institutions that share power among individuals committed to community wellbeing. A promising model is provided by the Mondragon workers cooperative in the Basque region of Spain. Each worker owns one share that can only be sold back to the corporation for sale to another worker.
Shift to public or cooperative community ownership of for-profit banks and other financial institutions authorized to issue official currencies, cryptocurrencies, financial derivates and other artificial financial assets.
Impose a financial transaction tax on all trading in financial instruments to discourage financial speculation.

Whenever someone complains about the $80 USD sticker price on new games, some folks like to bring up the fact that many Super Nintendo cartridges were retailing for the same price way back in the 90s.
The subtext of these observations is usually that AAA game prices have been effectively static for thirty years, so really, once you take inflation into account, AAA games are cheaper than ever.
A more pointed observation would be that, in spite of those thirty years of inflation, that $80 price tag has managed to become less affordable to the average gamer in 2025 than it was in 1995, which is an indictment that reaches much further than the AAA gaming industry.

As someone who would rather cut off my own limb than talk on the phone, I do not say this lightly. Now is the time to conquer our phone anxieties!
Amongst huge cuts to social programs that benefit millions of Americans, like medicaid and SNAP, the Big Beautiful Bill also includes provisions that will cut billions to student aid, cuts to the Federal Employee Retirement System, cut funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and ban states from regulating AI for the next decade.
This will add trillions of dollars to the debt, and all to pay for tax cuts that benefit the wealthiest in our country.

Person who already had all the Correct Opinions before entering the indoctrination machine: I think people who disagree with me should be forced to pay for putting their children in the machine. And also mine so my kids can laugh at how bad theirs are before they learn how to signal correctly.
college needs to become taxpayer (billionaire) funded. I NEED to see more innocent, rural, fundamentalist youths have their minds exploded by autistic professors who are visibly hungover from the night before. It’s the only thing that makes me feel like I still have a soul

One of the most personal, saddest things about living in America is the summertime.
There is 0 reason for American adults not to have a summer break. I can only say this with a full throat so loud, but other countries have policies and laws that give adults summertime.
It is not a joke to say France is kind of shutdown for August. There are over a dozen countries that have enough mandatory, legally required leave available to take an entire month off, or more. PLUS mandatory PAID holidays.
It's Brazil and Russia (ooh scary BRIC countries outgrowing the US and coming for us). India AND China give up to 2 weeks mandatory vacation leave, plus sick leave on top.
It's Afghanistan (20 days). It's Angola (22). It's Argentina(25) and Armenia (25) and Australia (20). It's Cambodia (technically unlimited; you can eventually get 15 or 17 days per month vacation).
That us on top of mandatory PAID public holidays. Cambodia can somehow manage 27 mandatory paid holidays plus upwards of 18 vacation days per year and going up from there, and we in the US can't even manage mandatory paid holidays.
We don't even get paid on Christmas and Memorial Day. And even trying to convince some people, let alone politicians, that everyone should get paid on Christmas is unfair to compare to pulling teeth.
Please. Please. I want to have a better life. I want you to have a better life.
I want you to not miss Summer Break. Because France and Cambodia don't.
