I began my #TapiHour at Tapizon greeted by Dan behind the bar shaken me up a Três Lima [Cachaça, Lemon, Tangerine, Lime & Sugar] Caipirinha with their Caipi-Pop lemon-lime popsicle. How can you not love a boozy pop in the summer?

Then Chef Leo’s welcomed me with an off-menu Maryland-style crab cakes atop an insanely delicious curry sauce topped with chili oil and citrus segments. I wanted to lick the plate and I’m told it will be coming soon for your culinary enjoyment.

While imbibing on another delicious (and my personal fave of the day) cocktail — their Beijo [Hibiscus infused house cachaça, rum, fresh lemon juice and vanilla bean] their “Cheesy Dice” (Dadinho de Tapioca) was highly suggested so I acquiesced. The Cheesy Dice are crispy, fluffy, bubbly tapioca cheese fritters with a umami blast of spicy sweet açaí sauce. Not my cup of tea due to consistency but the sauce is divine.

Happy Hour is Tuesdays-Fridays 330p-6p. The vibe is as if South America was dropped into the South Bay. Inside and out the restaurant aesthetics is like a living work of art. The menu is an eclectic Brazilian Asian fusion that the delightful, talented creative owner calls, Tropi-Cali. Chihuahua, Chih., viernes 29 de marzo de 2024.-Destaca Jorge Gutiérrez la experiencia y la unión en Apaches*****El jugador capitalino dijo estar emocionado de poder jugar una final chihuahuense

Para Jorge Gutiérrez el buen desempeño de los Apaches de Chihuahua ha sidogracias a la experiencia con la que cuentan los jugadores y la unión que se ha formado al interior del equipo gracias al liderazgo de su presidente Mario Estrada.

El chihuahuense ex jugador de la NBA y seleccionado nacional expresó además sentirse muy emocionado de poder jugar la final de la Liga de Básquetbol Estatal Mexbet Temporada 2024.

“Será muy competitiva, chihuahuense por eso queremos pedirle a toda la afición que asista y nos apoye, será un gran show por estar los dos equipos de la capital por tener mucho chihuahuense y mucho mexicano”, señaló Gutiérrez.

Gutiérrez fue pieza clave durante la temporada regular en donde jugó diez partidos con 328 minutos sobre la duela aportó 176 puntos, 65 asistencias, 41 rebotes y 17 recuperaciones. Mientras que, en la fase de semifinales jugó los cuatro encuentros ante Indomables de Ciudad Juárez con 14 unidades por encuentro y promediando 6.5 asistencias con 5.7 rebotes.

La final que se jugará a cuatro de siete posibles encuentros comenzará este domingo 31 de marzo cuando los Apaches de Chihuahua visiten a los Dorados a las 17:00 horas en la duela del Gimnasio Universitario “Manuel Bernardo Aguirre” (MBA).

Elsegundo partido será el lunes 1 de abril a las 20:00 horas en el mismo MBA.

Posteriormente, el viernes 5 y el sábado 6 de abril Apaches de Chihuahua recibirán los partidos tres y cuatro en el Gimnasio “Rodrigo M. Quevedo” (RMQ) a las 20:00 y 19:00 horas respectivamente.

En caso de haber un quinto juego éste será en el MBA el viernes 12 de abril en el MBA, el sexto sería el sábado 13 en el RMQ y un séptimo el lunes 15 en el MBA.

Part of what we’re doing here, on this planet, in these bodies, is learning to work with others. Because we have taken on the illusion of separation, we must actively work at unity in order to achieve it. And, really, what is the search for enlightenment but a quest to reunify with All That Is?

 

The catch is that we all have karmic agreements to help each other learn or experience various things. The closer our relationships, the more trust exists, and the more opportunity we are given to work through our sticking points. This is because other people, in honoring their spiritual or karmic agreement with us, highlight those sticking points for us, either by mirroring them back at us or by bringing those qualities out in us. This makes working towards unity more challenging.

Who are those people who bring out in you those parts of yourself that you do not embrace? How does that manifest? Create a game plan for acting differently, without pushing those people out of your life.

Who are those people in your life whose behaviors make you uncomfortable? Is it because they embody something about yourself that you dislike, or is it that their behavior reminds you of some wound from your past that you have not yet healed? Or both? 

Perhaps it is time to consciously look at your old wounds and take an active role in your healing. You have been gifted with free will and the power to control your actions and reactions. You can choose to accept and utilize these gifts, or you can continue to be a victim to your own negative ego. Those are the choices. The former allows you to take back control in your life, to work through those things that still trigger you, and to change your own behaviors. The latter, well, you are probably quite familiar with the latter.

Remember: your goal in seeking enlightenment is one of unity.

MUJER TU SIRVES PARA

Lo anterior nos evoca a la idea de que a la mujer alemana le fue vendido un proyecto de vida (ser madre, ser esposa). Y fue a través de los directivos de Beiesdorf, a sus diseñadores gráficos y a su equipo de mercadeo y producción que se le dijo a la mujer alemana “cómo ser mujer” y “qué querían hacer”. ¿Cómo ser mujer? El ideal de mujer, el concepto concreto de mujer es: ser blanca, rubia, heterosexual, activa y sana fisicamente para cumplir a cabalidad su rol de esposa, de buena madre, de ama de casa, manteniendo su apariencia cuidada y su piel sana. ¿Qué querían hacer? cumplir estos lineamientos, cuidar de su familia, comprarles lo que necesitan (como productos para la higiene y cuidado personal). Es por esto que la tecnología, la crema NIVEA, está ayudando a convencer a la mujer de que tiene un destino que debe cumplir. Como el conocido slogan o la  triple consigna: Kinder, Kirche, Küche (“niños, iglesia, cocina”).Este destino femenino, atado a los deseos del hombre (es buena esposa, buena ama de casa) sigue el planteamiento de Beauvoir de que: “Ella no se piensa sin el hombre. Y ella no es otra cosa que lo que el hombre decida que sea” (Beauvoir, el segundo sexo, p.18). Por lo tanto: “La mujer es un producto elaborado por la civilización. (...) La mujer no es definida ni por sus hormonas ni por sus misteriosos instintos” (Beauvoir, elsegundo sexo, pp718-719).

Igualmente, siguiendo los planteamientos de De Lauretis, el género es una construcción sociocultural, una representación o el efecto de las representaciones discursivas de las instituciones (Paráfrasis sesión semana II). Butler también nos menciona que el género termina siendo un sistema de reglas, convenciones, discursos institucionales que quieren para el sujeto que desean formar: “Cuando la cultura pertinente que construye el género se entiende en función de dicha ley o conjunto de leyes, entonces parece que el género es tan preciso y fijo como lo era bajo la afirmación de que biología es destino. En tal caso, la cultura, se convierte en destino” (Butler, el género en disputa, p.57).Podríamos afirmar entonces que fueron empresas como Beiersdorf e instituciones como el Ministerio Imperial para la Ilustración popular y propaganda o Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda, los cuales se encargaron de establecer una imagen dicotómica de la sociedad alemana (mujer es, hombre es) mediante propagandas y anuncios. Este tipo de discursos permearon en productos con tecnología para el cuidado de la piel como NIVEA. Es así como NIVEA reafirma, produce y reproduce LA  perspectiva específica sobre la usuaria que debía usar la crema, en este caso, sobre ser mujer. Mujer es la que se cuida a sí misma para poder cuidar de su hogar.

Como menciona Preciado: “las mujeres hacen en esta sociedad el trabajo del cuidado del cuerpo. Se ocupan de los hombres, pero también se ocupan del cuidado del cuerpo de las otras mujeres heterosexuales. Eso es lo que se oculta bajo la noción marxista de “división sexual del trabajo”. No se trata de que a las mujeres se les asigne la esfera de la reproducción y a los hombres la de la producción. La cosa parece mucho más compleja. Las mujeres tienen a su cargo una tarea fundamental, sin la cual el equilibrio erótico-político de la heterosexualidad se colapsaría inmediatamente: las mujeres se ocupan de llevar a cabo una dermatología política generalizada. Cuidan la piel del mundo” (Preciado, 2008,  p.226).
