Just finished One Day and my chest hurts, I have a headache and my eyes are so thick from crying I can barely see properly. 10/10 show... No notes... I don't think I've ever loved something so completely the way I loved this show from beginning to end. Wow... Just wow.

Interestingly, I ended up watching the show in the wrong order. I watched the first episode last and the last episode first. I didn’t know that the main character dying was supposed to be a shock. In fact, I anticipated it. The entire time I was watching, my heightened anxiety made it even more thrilling. Because I knew that she was going to die, it made me cherish her character even more and although I was upset when I realized that I wasn’t supposed to watch the show this way, I think I was meant to. My incorrect yet unique way of watching the show resulted in there being an ominously happy ending where the main characters meet for the very first time There’s this promise of keeping in touch, that they could possibly end up together. They do eventually but it’s bittersweet. I know it’s gonna happen. I know she’s gonna die.
