get into a comfortable environment & close your eyes for a couple minutes. cup your hands a couple inches apart, and focus on the feeling in your palm.
you can visualize the energy you’re building however you’d like. i think of it as an ball of light growing stronger.
it’s tingly, warm, & feels almost electric doesn’t it?
now think about your intention; what purpose do you want to give to this orb? what chakra or energy center would you like to focus on?
for the exercise we’ll choose the heart & self love.
your thoughts are powerful, and with concentration and intention you can give back to yourself. sit and visualize in words, colors, or images-- whatever you need to see and heal the inner child that can’t seem to forgive. tell her that she is safe now, and that you love her. channel your that stream of thought into the ball of energy between your palms.
think of your youth, early influences, and the things you need to let go of. with this energy you’re choosing to release the tension you hold against yourself. open your heart and feel the harden exterior cracking. be raw. be forgiving, and most importantly; become. expressing vulnerability won’t hold you back.
hold these thoughts for a moment as you now turn your still cupped hands towards your chest, and push the buildup of energy outwards from your palms. take note of what you feel. do this until you are satisfied, or feel a trickle or depletion of the energy if you will.
when you open your eyes you may feel a little sleepy and have an urge to drink water. believe and have faith in your abilities as you can apply this towards more specific matters and visualize different themes or topics.
