Nobody probably cares but I've been thinking a lot abt how was Eve was probably groomed into making a lot of the actions he does early on. Like, he grew up in poverty and was 16-17 when he ran away, yet was able to pay for someone to basically 'remove' his existence so he wouldn't be tracked...

I may have just been a broke teen but no way in hell did he pay for the costs himself

#Eve is characterized to be dependent on the people around him and their interpretation of him #He'd rather kill his own brother fake his death and leave people's lives in shambles via ghosting rather than admit his wrongdoings #so for him to just up and leave Edgar and Kai just seems sorta out of character #and while it could just be him reaching a breaking point and then bailing on Kai #I feel like he left because someone convinced him to leave along side some inciting incident that pushed him to go #especially because Eve is so ready to trust Edgar regarding something as serious as the possibility of Kai being a murderer #which I also find interesting because you'd think outside the monthly checks he sends them he'd be totally nc #anyways this was my Ted talk and I'm going to bed #🦋journal
