Synopsis: When his soulbond turned out to revolve around music, Chan had not been surprised - practically his whole life had an aspect of music in it. The hinges were so rusty and the door itself was so worn down that it took some time for the intruder to open it. Sensing the opportunity, the half-elf crept closer. hello hello! it’s fifi ( @junjulys ) late once again with the intro… this time i bring to you my second muse, jung seungjae! the nation’s son in law and gentleman ( but is he really… ) i’m sooooo excited to bring him here and i would love love loooveee to get plots and threads going for him 🫶 !!

seungjae has done a lot of acting, and he’s been in the industry for quite a while ( since 2016 ) so anything !! is possible !! you can find his profile here! underneath the cut i’ll have more info about him as well as some wanted plots!

tw: abandonment

seungjae’s birth parents left him at an orphanage when he was 4 years old. he never understood why they’d left him and thought they would come back. they don’t.

he goes through two foster homes, until he’s adopted by a foster worker at 10 years old. his adoptive family shower him with a lot of love, and seungjae up till this days doesn’t know how he’ll ever repay their kindness. he loves his adoptive family a lot.

at 17 years old, he gets scouted by ydh entertainment. at 19, he debuts.

he isn’t immensely successful at first, but his career skyrockets when he releases the little prince and it goes viral! but… it’s also then when his birth family starts contacting him!!! woah!!!

seungjae doesn’t know why!! they’re contacting him! or how they found him!! but curiosity gets the better of him, and he decides to meet them face to face! finds out that woah – they ‘abandoned’ him because he was getting in the way of planning family trips! his birth father straight up tells him “you were our third child. and it made planning really difficult, especially for family trips. but after giving you up for adoption, we regretted it. because we realized we really wanted a third child! so we got to work, and now we have four beautiful children.”

seungjae is shocked!!! he feels… terrible. and his birth family starts asking him for money because they’ve gone through a few failed businesses. he doesn’t want to help at first, but they start bombarding him with calls and messages. the final straw is when they show up at his adoptive parents house. seungjae decides to give in, and he’s been sending them money whenever they call now just so they’d leave him and his adoptive parents alone.

they still ask him for money frequently, and seungjae gives in. someone should kick his ass about it.

personality

extroverted. a little annoying at times, but it’s because he cares. he’s pretty friendly, and an easy guy to approach..!

he doesn’t enjoy putting himself in tense situations. seems pretty down-to-earth. really leans into the whole nation’s son in law vibe.

tbh he’s pretty soft-hearted, he gives into things easily.

a workaholic though, he doesn’t know what to do if he’s not working. since 2016, all he’s been doing is surrounding himself with work and schedules. he loves his job, loves singing, loves performing and acting, but whether it’s healthy or not… well!!!

nation’s son in law – does pretty well with the older demographic.

he sings a lot about love, but doesn’t know if he’s actually… experienced something like that himself! maybe he has but he's been too busy to realize it!

likes to talk about random things to come across as friendly but will never talk about his own private life because that’s a little too… personal!! so he’s never actually had someone… know him ❤️ fully ❤️

seungjae’s been in quite a few dramas (reply 1988, sky castle, lovely runner, the heirs, etc) so muses that have acted in that drama…!! that could work!

he also has a lot of featurings open in his albums! ( i promise i’ll work on listing all those out one day ) so that’s always fun!

friends? he’s been in the industry for a really long time, so i imagine that he’d have built a close circle of friends that he enjoys hanging out with.

enemies? people that he doesn’t get along with? he’s been in the industry for a long time – but yes. someone that can’t stand seungjae, or someone seungjae can’t stand.

they had mutual friends that tried to set the both of them up before but it didn’t work out. they’re both good friends now!!

variety co stars?

seungjae has a show called jung seungjae’s service ( similar to lee mujin’s service ), so someone who’s gone on there before? and both you and seungjae have kept in contact since!

( female ) exes? seungjae’s always been so busy with work, but he’s probably had a few exes, that never quite worked out for whatever reason. did both of them end up broken hearted? did seungjae fuck up? was she someone seungjae loved? or thought he could?

( female ) fwbs. again, because seungjae’s such a workaholic, and because he’s always just focused on his job and on the move everywhere, i don’t think he’s ever had time to properly be in something serious. but he’s definitely open to something casual! and fun! and whatever comes after!

Oh my god? I would have to write a whole fic about it 😭

Everything goes according to plan, husbands get married in Ljubljana Castle just to move the party to the venue on the outskirts of the city!

With family and friends everything has to go smoothly!

Nace. He’s always protective of Jan.

Omg, they definitely plan to become parents! As I said, chill with a healthy amount of strict.

They definitely do. Their respective siblings accepted them into families in a seconds. Jan was scared if his parents would accept Nace (they did). Nace wasn’t scared of his parents accepting Jan (though Jan was anxious).

okay but IF butch fiddleford. would her name still be fiddleford if so. ive seen filomena and fifi and possibly fidds, still, as a few possible names for her. i feel like it at least need to have 3 syllables and be as interesting as 'fiddleford' is. possibly with a different gay pun in there somehow, to take a jab at the fiddles-ford jokes? fiddleyuria 🤗. god thats awful ill let myself out.

just kidding. anyway YES she gets the floorlength beard in her glorious 'meemaw gucket' days. but since shes butch i think 'old man mcgucket' would still apply (although when gaining memories back after the societys taken down i think that would make it a little more confusing for her unfortunately💔).

also she should get to have a motorcycle. at first she just has a homemade one and wears a silly "beard strap" to keep all the hair from flying around into her face BUT i also love the image of her adding a comically small sidecar to force ford or stan to squeeze into. its really funny i prommy.

maybe the sidecar is originally built for mabel/dipper etc to come along or to give the towns children little joyrides and thats why its tiny LOL. its okay maybe she will make it able to change size with the push of a button. maybe. too early to tell because she might just be having too much fun torturing ford in the side car.

also whether shes intersex and thats why the beard or she went on T or something, doesnt matter the reason but i think the beard Should be natural. she deserves it 🫶.

but yeah being so skinny paired with getting called old man mcgucket for 30 years, she can also get away with being tits out. good for her!
