              it  doesn't  come  as  a  shock  ,  maria  has  come  to  know  iako  is  a  restless  sort  ;  always  looking  for  some  kind  of  entertainment  .  the  hat  begins  to  fall  from  corpse's  head  and  maria  lets  out  only  the  smallest  of  sighs  . 

before  the  tricorne  could  touch  the  ground  ,  there's  a  sudden  shift  .  moving  with  the  swiftness  and  lightness  of  wind  ;  the  former  hunter  caught  and  placed  back  her  hat  atop  her  head  ,  appearing  directly  behind  iako  in  the  process  .  she  left  nothing  but  a  cloud  of  dust  kicked  up  from  the  clocktower  floor  to  be  seen  in  front  .  a  gloved  hand  reached  out  ,  giving  iako  a  flick  to  the  back  of  their  crown  as  a  mild  scolding  .               “            if  you  so  desperately  seek  entertainment  …  then  i  propose  a  game  .  if  you  manage  to  knock  off  my  hat  again  ,  you  will  be  considered  the  victor  .  sounds  simple  ,  no  ?            ”
