After 6 years

It's been six years since I last saw my first love. I never in a million years thought he would reach out but he did. It was a roller-coaster of emotions seeing his name pop up with a message, talking to him again made me realize that I no longer loved him. The people we both became throughout the years made me realize the gap and how different we were to each other. It was also the moment I realized I wanted someone else. The someone else is someone I fell in love with slowly and then all at once. The secret messages between us and the middle of the night phone calls made me feel like a schoolgirl again. That feeling was something I never thought I would experience again. His little comments of saying "I've been staring at my phone hoping you would reply" and "I only have 4 percent but I dont want to stop talking to you" especially saying " I could talk to you for hours, days, months, and years and never get bored" made falling in love so much easier. They say you will never forget your first love, while there is some truth to that; falling in love with a person that overshadows your first love is possible and it is the best feeling in the world.

After 6 years I am finally moving forward and leaving the past behind.

#TheBlueAngel di Josef von Sternberg è il primo film sonoro della cinematografia tedesca. Il celebre espressionismo resiste nella rappresentazione deformata del mondo esterno, ma al suo interno spoglia il ruolo della donna modellando una nuova figura dominatrice, fatale irraggiungibile. Un mito iconografico che prende vita grazie al carisma di Marlene Dietrich. Il professor Rat che si annulla per lei, rappresenta la Germania che ingenuamente si fa ammaliare da una donna (nazismo) che però lo porta alla sottomissione. In questo modo mostra le conseguenze di un mondo che ha puntato sul fallimento di ogni sistema di valori.
