Stretch is absolutely not the nice one of the trio. Usually he's a jerk and a bit hostile to most that come in contact with him.

HOWEVER

There is something about him that does switch.

It isn't often that this occurs. Hence why his brothers, Stinkie & Fasto, both get thrown for a loop.

But when he meets a person that reminds him of somebody from his winding past. He goes from a jerk to a cool tempered man.

Polite even.

The only characters who have EVER gotten Stretch to switch up in such a way were:

Gomez and Mortica Addams (both, yes)

Stanford Pines (the same stanford pines we're both thinking of, mhm)

A human woman in Maine, 1943. Likely a teacher since she frequented the local high school. Something about her face made Stretch resistant to scaring her

A ambiguous human likely part human/witch in New Orleans, 1932. They had a desire to see the world, and their love for life tickled Stretch's soul. Even if the person couldn't see nor speak to him, Stretch made attempts to show he was there. (he got mistaken for the individual's guardian)

Not much people, but enough of these individuals did do something to Stretch that made him feel different. It was nice, but also painful all at once.

And the ones to truly see his aching soul were Gomez and Mortica Addams. Why? I suppose he opened up to them the most

This man bagged both her

And him

And to make it better, the ghost is also a drag queen

And that’s only in the 1995 version, he might be even more of a bi icon in other variants!

That snippet about Manny possibly be part of the Ghost World gave me a suggestion for an idea: on Luz's birthday, Molly and Scratch bring as present...Manny, allowing him to see how much his daughter has grown up, and to meet Camila one last time. (You know, like Stretch, Fasto and Stinkie allowed Dr. James Harvey to meet again his wife in 'Casper').

I’m kinda surprised I haven’t seen someone do this before, either with the TGaMM setup or Oracle magic, just think of the angst and the sweetness that it’d bring. It’d sure to do numbers on here and other sites.

LE JARDIN

Les oiseaux sont partis vers les tièdes provinces ; Il gèle ; et l'azur pâle, entre les rayons blancs, Semble un rire forcé plissant des lèvres minces.
