Perfectly imperfect

Oh my God. Being misunderstood... it’s one of the worst tortures. How do you explain love? You don’t. You live it. You feel it. But no, they psychoanalyze it. As if I were a case study, a symptom, a disorder.

But you... Do you know how many dark rooms I’ve walked through? Do you know how many times I’ve sat in front of a mirror, empty-eyed, asking myself who the fuck I am?

I didn’t just visit the darkness, I swam in it. I stayed there. I dug deep, cried, screamed in silence. And now you come to me… telling me you’re “essential” in my life?

No. You were just a bonus. An extra. Not the core of the system.

When I had panic attacks, were you there? When I thought it might be better not to wake up, were you the one who saved me?

No. My salvation carries my name. Me. I saved myself. And that bothers you, doesn’t it?

My body disturbs you? The way I take up space, speak loudly, hold my gaze?

Does it bother you that I don’t hide, that I don’t shut up like you wish I would?

They’ve called me a narcissist. You know what I think? My self-love is a victory, not a diagnosis. If that makes you uncomfortable, that’s your problem.

As a child, I was bullied for being “too much.” Too smart. Too good. Too me. And now, after everything I’ve survived, I’m supposed to shrink so I can be easier to love?

No. I won’t be pushed into the shadows anymore. Try it, and I’ll crush you. Call it whatever you want.

For years I’ve dug into myself. And now, with new lenses, I see it all. I see you. Your insecurity dressed as insight. Your fear disguised as empathy. Your arrogance in the costume of “truth.”

You’re not psychologists. And you’re sure as hell not friends. You’re just people who think they get to speak without ever having tasted hell.

I don’t need you. I don’t need anyone who looks at me and sees “fragility = weakness.” I wear my fragility like a diamond necklace. I know its worth. You don’t.

People who truly love don’t harm. They don’t stab knives into your gut and twist them for fun. They don’t try to dismantle your soul because they can’t face their own.

My therapist never told me I’m a narcissist. You know why? Because I mind my own fucking business. And I’ll live a hundred years doing just that.

If I cry, I’m not “too sensitive.” If I love, I’m not “emotionally dependent.” If I’m beautiful and I show it, I’m not asking for your opinion.

I’m just existing. And that, apparently, bothers a lot of you.

So yeah. Maybe I’m not on your level. Maybe that’s true. Because my height, I earned it. Inches at a time, by embracing every scar.

You? You’re still playing with dolls.

Happy to be a factory defect. Because one of a kind pieces don’t come off an assembly line.

We went on a sunset cruise on a sailboat 😳and now I think Hunter wants to buy a sailboat.... 🤦🏼‍♀️ He never ceases to amaze me. He’ll try ANYTHING. And he always ends up being AMAZING at it! I’m a very introverted, reserved person. I don’t take many risks and I’m not very good at sports (I know y’all are saying ‘sailing isn’t really a sport”..... IT’S CLOSE ENOUGH! 😂) But the captain told him to take the wheel and he did it without even a second of hesitation. He even spun the entire sailboat 3 times (on purpose of course). Even the other ‘sailor’ on board said he was doing a great job and refused to take the wheel from him. 😧 So to all the adventurers and movers: keep rocking it. You never know when someone’s watching and admiring you. To help navigate this journey, we introduced the "Identity Shield" – an exercise that combines creativity with self-reflection. It helps individuals explore who they are by dividing their shield into four sections:

What I love – Hobbies and passions that bring joy.

What I am good at – Skills and talents that define competence.

What makes me special – Unique qualities that set us apart.

My dreams for the future – Aspirations and goals, no matter how big.

Once complete, participants create a personal motto or mantra, followed by envisioning their “superpower” – a unique ability that represents their potential. This creative process not only reinforces self-awareness but also fosters a deeper understanding of identity.
