The higher up cats up Hawthornclan!

Yeah- me and my friends came up with the names, like Fennelstorm isn’t mine but I think other then him, there’s one more that isn’t mine lol.

Evil cats btw. The black markings are the wounds that either killed them or were open when they died. I do need to re-do Garlicface but eh- don’t mind that ear are all on paper- I of course am going to edit these on IBSPAINT. I just wanted to show off my evil clan upper Clanmates. Next are the older warriors. Which ima say now. These cats are worse then Brokenstar so be prepared to be amazed at how small this clan is and how little there is of young cats due to dying in battle. Their neighboring clans are Snowclan and Willowclan.

Willowclan’s territory is a bunch of oaks and willows, and they have a river that comes from Snowclan that’s runs through their territory, right next to their camp actually.

Hawthornclan is fully evil. It’s been sense the second leader just started a chain of bloodthirsty cats.

Mushroomstar is the WORST leader of them all though. Ima just say it now. He’s the w o r s t. And cares little about anything. The only thing he cares about is his mate and kits. Though treats his mates more like trash. Yeah this guy has a very odd way of showing his love. Also, he did have a mate named Volefrost, but realized she was using him so killed her :) Yeah. To add to that their kits had just became apprentices. Yeah. Shrewpaw, Hawkpaw, Darkpaw and Icepaw definitely were not suspicious of it at ALL.

Anyways- Fennelstorm isn’t as unhinged as Mushroomstar. He just follows the rules and doesn’t get in anyones way so that’s why he’s deputy. His character isn’t much explored and he never has kits. So yeah.

Garlicface is also another unexplored cat. He’s actually pretty young so he does end up having kits with a cat named Summerflame. (meds can have kits in my clans.) and so yeah. But he isn’t very close with them.

Causes of death:

Mushroomstar- His mate Lambcry and her half sister Hollyblaze-

Fennelstorm- Wolves

Garlicface- Wolves

(A lot of the cats die from wolves because wolves invaded the clan territory and mostly lived in the heavy dense pine forest where Hawthornclan lived so most Hawthornclan cats ended up dying- fun)

Now that you're reading warriors again, I'd like to know this. Using the rules of the Redux, what would you rename the main characters of The Broken Code? Why?

Oh, fun! Since you said “main characters” specifically, I’m going to focus on the three perspective characters. There’s a lot of new characters and almost none of them have any consistent personality, so renaming them would be fruitless. 

And, of course, spoilers for the most recent arc.

Anyway, Shadowpaw/sight first! 

I talked about how I’d rename him and his siblings here, and I would still make his prefix Shade-, since it’s simple, close to his original and doesn’t step on ShadowClan’s toes. Given that he’s already predicted several events (as a seer is supposed to) and is very in-tune with his ancestors (or, at the time, the Clan thinks), he would of course be called -leaf. Not the fanciest of names, Shadeleaf, but I feel it’s serviceable.

Bristlefrost is a little confusing, I have to say, because everyone makes her white-and-grey instead of pure grey/blue, as is her canon description. I had to check a few times to make sure I wasn’t mistaken in her just being grey. 

Her prefix would match her canon one as close as possible. She’s a grey/blue cat named after the concept of bristles, which could easily translate to a spiky plant name, such as Nettle-, Burdock- or Thistle-. Her suffix would reference her dedication to being as great as she can be and adhering to her beliefs in the code - this is, of course, -heart. I can’t decide whether I like Nettleheart or Thistleheart better as a name. Whichever you prefer is the correct one!

Rootpaw is a bit more difficult. He’s named after a plant part, and there are tons of golden-based plant names. Plus, he doesn’t have a suffix yet, and I don’t have as good of a grip on his very basic personality as I do the two above. If I had to pick a particular prefix, though, I’d go with Fennel-, since that sounds the best with his family’s plant-name theme and actually specifies a cat of his color. His suffix would probably just be -fur or -pelt - though, if we want to get a little more interpretive, and elaborate on the actions we’ve been given from him, I could see his moodiness, slightly erratic nature, heightened emotions and prideful temper giving him -storm. Fennelfur or Fennelstorm don’t sound too bad, do they?
