1. What/who does your protagonist love the most in the world?

Romantically? Jared Will probably never love anyone as much as Nyah, but familialy (if that’s a word?) he loves his sister Skye with all his heart.

2. How many WIPs are you working on right now?

Two currently.

3. How do you come up with titles for your WIPs / chapters?

They kind of just come to me haha, there’s no real process.

4. What’s your favorite OC name and how did you come up with it?

Gonna have to go with Ferren Irontooth from “The 415″. I think I got inspired a little bit by the Dwarfs from Warhammer, they had names like Belegar Ironhammer, or Thorni Ironbrow, etc. And Ferren is just a derivation of the Latin word for Iron “Ferris”.

5. What are your top three favorites genres to read?

Probably historical fiction, Fantasy, and Adventure.

6. What makes you choose to follow a WIP on writeblr?

Just go with my gut.

7. What are your favorite tropes to read?

I love Love LOVE tired and broken heroes trying to find some kind of redemption; Logan, God of War 4, Unforgiven, etc.

8. What’s your favorite place to read?

Outside, with some tea. Preferably in the sun.

9. Which OC relationship (of any sort, not just romantic) is the most important in your WIP?

Hmmmmm Jared’s relationship with himself and the world probably. 

10. What kind of relationships do you like to read about?

I love two people making each other better.

11. What are your favorite character archytpes? (the link just has some examples, feel free to use different ones)

Lonely hero/ reluctant hero, anti heroes, people who struggle against their dark side to do what’s right.

OC TAG GAME!

 I was tagged by @sleepy-and-anxious to talk about the inspiration behind my original character names. I’m not gonna do all of them cuz a lot of them don’t really have deeper meanings. So this may not be that interesting. 

Rules: Share your inspiration for your character names and tag some other writers!

Jared: He’s based on me and my name’s Jake. Not too far off, plus, as you’ll see, I have a habit (it’s bit more of a running gag at his point) of giving my characters “J” names.

Jayda: A strong sounding name, also a “J” name haha.

Jorek: Another strong sounding “J” name.

Skye: She’s based off of my sister, and that’s pretty much her name just with one letter added.

Ferren Irontooth: I honestly have no clue. I suppose “Ferren” kind of comes from the Latin “Ferris”, meaning Iron.
