Today, on Memorial Day, we honor those who gave everything—not for power or glory, but for the promise of a freer, fairer nation.

They laid down their lives to protect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the delicate framework of checks and balances that guard our democracy.

Let us not forget: the strength of a nation lies in its ability to grow. A just democracy knows when to prune what is harmful and nourish what is good. It does not stand still. It evolves—for everyone. Because freedom means nothing unless it includes us all.
